The Dev aka Author of this plugin is giving excellent service in their Plugin Support server..

Even with the files that are a "little" bit messy, it is a lot better to take your time to understand the plugin after afew tries. But as well as it has a pretty good structure too and a well coded plugin. Very much recommended for people that are into playing Kingdom Wars with friends, or if you want to set this up to your server for the members. This is a hard working man that has spent lots and lots of time so when you do need help, the answers come quick. (just be patient too when you ask for help)

With this plugin as well, you do also learn a lot of behind the codes you either decide to translate, change the menu's and the structures + the turrets etc..

If any other plugin with this category would be made, this would always be an 1st plugin to go for.

Writing another review for the updates. Sure it's in a beta, but with how customizable the entire plugin is, any bugs you experience can be fixed by simply editing config files. The bulk of this plugin is heavily customizable, meaning if you do not like something or wish to change it, you can remove it or even change it to work how you want to. And yes, there are a ton of defaults that I personally did not like, but all I did was check the Discord, search for the words related to my issue, and find the file that has the setting. And if you can't find it by searching for it in the Discord, there's an entire wiki for all the features and what they do, and how to edit them, including the GUI for all the structures. As a last resort, you can post in the support channel and usually you'll get a response within 24 hours, but if you're going to do that, please be as detailed as you can, say you wanted to remove economy stuff from Kingdoms, instead of saying "How do I remove economy stuff?" you could ask "Where is the yml file that has all the economy settings?" which the reply would be the config.yml in the KingdomsX folder that is in your plugins folder.

The support is amazing, the plugin, while taking a bit to tweak for what I wanted on my server, is still amazing. I'm mostly excited to see what else gets added as soon as the plugin is in a more stable state (Not that it crashes, there are a few easy to fix issues, it just needs to be more streamlined for the people who do not want to sit in several config files)

So overall, still a 5/5 because the support is top tier and the plugin is still doing so many things without causing lag on the server, and I am still shocked at how well it runs, even after all these updates, there's nothing slowing down the server.

An amazing factions/towny plugin that has the ability to start wars, and even a mass war event for the entire server to take part in.

I've tested the turrets, and they are surprisingly well optimized. Having hundreds in nearby chunks, all attacking several mob targets doesn't generate lag. I am incredibly impressed and decided to buy this plugin to write this review.

Seriously, the dev(s) are doing an amazing job with how this plugin operates. The majority of the plugin can be used with the nexus block, allowing players, who don't really know commands that well, can still interact with the plugin and take part in the core game of being in, and managing a faction.

Not only that, but in the Discord server, they put up polls for more features in something that I feel like is already feature complete.

The plugin had a few bugs (that happened to be mostly on my server) and the dev really worked on it and improved a lot of things especially when it comes to the performance/optimization. Great support, worth the money.

This is by far my favorite game mode of Minecraft. It allows people to build actual kingdoms, not ugly cobblestone boxes covered in water. And at the same time, it offers so many unique and fun features that allow people to use actual STRATEGY to defend or defeat their enemies. Be aware- the Nexus upgrades can be extremely useful but they are only a VERY SMALL portion of the strategy that goes into Kingdoms as a game mode.

Most people would consider Minecraft to be a game about creativity and kingdoms is about using your creativity to defeat your opponents. As for peaceful kingdoms- it still has plenty of benefits over plugins like Grief Prevention or Towny.

However, the one challenge of kingdoms is teaching new players in an engaging way. Most new players are not willing to learn a new game mode and they are not willing to read more than a sentence. Furthermore, you really need a medium or large player base in order for kingdoms to work well for PvP.

I have been using this plugin for years and have never found a bug, really a great plugin

The server is horribly lagging when using KingdomsX, the plugin is not optimized and many people are reporting this, you do nothing with this.

For example, i have a lot of "turrets" things in spark profiler, there's a lot of things lagging with KingdomsX.

Without kingdomsX my purpur server can handle about 400 players (stable 20.0tps), with kingdomsX AND ONLY 90 PLAYERS i have tps drops from 18.0 to 12.0 etc.

I lost a lot of players because of this, please do something with it finally..

I needed a plugin like this, which I am very satisfied with in particular for the things it offers, but also for the ease with which this plugin can be used, after all, players are more satisfied when they manage to master the game and in fact the latter is easy to use and also very nice to look at. The plugin forces you to use 1.20.2, otherwise you can't run the newest version which has "probably" fixed "server crashing" bug. I can't run my 300 players server because there's a crashing bug which they can't event fix.

This Plugin is really amazing. Its a Gold-Standart for Faction-Like plugins. Its incredible how advanced and performant this plugins is.

This Plugin truly is the best land-claiming-plugin out there.

The only thing that i can imagine to let the plugin be the best plugin of all time is if it has the same complex housing and managing than Civs - Premium.

But Civs-Premium is unlike this Plugin not a truly premium-plugin.

KingdomsX is beyond Premium and i recommend it for every serious server that has something todo with factions towny or similar. I bet you dont regret your choice if you get over to KingdomsX.

Best faction/town/guild plugin for MC. If anyone knows the game stellaris this adds diplomacy nearly on that games level, which is insane, and that is only one of the countless features.

I really appreciate KingdomsX and it is the cornerstone of the server I am developing. The configuration is well documented and created in a way that offers incredible customization options. I've never waited longer then 5 minutes for my support requests to be answered. The developers are active and listen closely to the community for new feature requests. This plugin is amazing! The developer cares about the plugin and also you can configure almost everything. if the plugin misses a feature you can always suggest it through their Discord and they will most likely add it, mainly depending on the performance impact of the feature. Their support has huge knowledge, they rarely fail to help, but even the best make mistakes.
To explain some of the bad reviews about this plugin so far;
1. Most of the time the bugs are caused wrong configuration of the plugin.
2. Sometimes after a big update you'd have to reconfigure the plugin again because of various changes made.
3. Bug reports exist. You can find them on their Discord.

This plugin is filled with bugs, even when you think you have worked everything out; On the next restart 50% of the functionality is probably going to get reset/broken/bugged. And don't bother with the support, they wont help you solve shit even when you know exactly what the issue is. Simply shit.

I recommend this plugin, I use it to play with friends and it works well and it is a unique plugin!

Sometimes it doesn't put a kingdom in the top list. Or if I type /k home from another world where my kingdom is, it throws me to the kingdom closest to the 0 0 coordinate.

Best group / clan plugin for me, has tons of features, just needs some fixing but I 100% recommend this, improved my server a lot, switched from factions to this plugin.

Great plugin, but the only complaint I have is that the turrets are way way WAY too op. One shot kill and basically no downtime. Please fix and I will give a 5 star

An excellent Kingdoms plugin that does many things factions and towny can, but better. However, what truly makes this project excellent is Crypto himself. It is so rare to find such a helpful creator who is also so skilled. While Kingdoms can have bugs, they are fixed quickly and are more than made up for by all the new features he adds. I have been blown away by what's possible, sometimes I get lost in the config it's so vast and configurable. I highly recommend you give this a try over factions, towny, lands, or any other plugin that lets you claim land. Thank you, Crypto!

I bought this just to leave a review. While this plugin is still being developed, it is being activity developed, so bug fixes come often. Crypto Morin is also a great developer, if not for his skill, but for his interaction with his community. If you are interested in Kingdoms just know it is just going to get better and better from this review forward.

This plugin is absolutely feature packed and has a ridiculous amount of customizability, suiting the needs of pretty much any Kingdoms server you may want (even towny!). Some of this includes custom equations for tax collection and might calculation, all the GUIs being customizable, and virtually all the options you want being toggleable. It is definitely a big step up from the outdated previous version and Songoda's undeveloped version.

That being said, the plugin does require some polishing. Issues from small to big, like relations sometimes not working and occasional data loss, are constantly being found, and may frustrate your players. I would also like to add that since this plugin is not the most popular, other plugins may not include support for Kingdom regions.

Thankfully, Kingdoms is backed by one of the most dedicated developers I've seen, actively adding new features and fixing reported bugs on a daily basis. This plugin has excellent support that will not disappoint server owners. The dev even offers the plugin for free on his Discord, but I really do recommend you buy it if you like his work.

Bottom line: A+ Features and Customizability, although there may be bugs the dev provides excellent support and fast updates.

It works perfectly on Paper but normally on spigot. Some commands are not working well on spigot. If I wanna get the best experience on this plugin, I have batter use Paper instead of spigot.

Epic alternative plugin to Factions is back! I loved the first Kingdoms plugin and I hope that this one will continue to exist! The invade mechanic is way better than the classic from Factions.
