I haven't tested the plugin yet, but I have a question.
When the blocks fall, are they removed, or are they left obstructing the area?

Depends how you configure it.
If you want the blocks to just be visual you can either disable falling block placement for "EVERYTHING" or enabled visual only mode.

Try the new version with debris placement disabled. I've changed how events are handled in this version.
