Yes, i'm updating this right before the new year... deal with it.
Updated for mc 1.18 and should be future proof due to the new bukkit mob api.
Use the latest protocollib on their public jenkins repo.

Added actionbar message during vanish.
Players under the /vanish effect are now hidden from mob aggro same as the invisibility potion effect.
Permissions for vanishing and seeing vanished players are now uniform:
invisy.see.<#1-100>
invisy.vanish.<#1-100>
lower numbers cannot see higher numbers

Added a vanishing/invisibility feature.
This adds a new command as well.
/vanish (v / hide / invisible)
permission to use the vanishing feature
- invisy.vanish
permission to see vanished players
- invisy.see
And a new option will be added in the settings file on server restart.
VanishedStatePersistent: true/false
which keeps the vanished state of the user after they login/logout and after a server restart.
YOU WILL NEED ProtocolLib to run now.
