I have gone ahead and pushed a minor update which may fix this issue. If you are still encountering this problem I will need to take a closer look at your configuration.

Version: 1.0

Works even on 1.16.4, but prints some errors in the console ^^
Also, you can't rightclick while looking at a block. But still the best armor swapping plugin.
