Great anticheat. Detects cheaters, and the config lets you modifiy a lot of values to ensure an even lower amount of false positives.

Best free anti-cheat out there. Almost to good to be true, but it actually is true! Only problems is there's no auto-banning feature, also it needs updating to 1.15.
Conclusion: Get this plugin on your server ASAP.

Have its relatively a small server on survival. Needed Anti-Cheat. I live in the Crimea, I can not buy a paid one. Fortunately found the Horizon, I am sure that just to save money. Complaints about "interference with the game, bugs, lags" was not at all. My friend tested most of the free cheats with different settings, Horizon coped perfectly. Amazing anticheat, It doesnt have a year and is blocking hacks properly well. Support is amazing im amazed with the killaura check it blocks ALL Killauras and triggerbots i have tested with Flux, Alpha Centauri, LiquidBounce and many many more. I cant wait for update 2.0 which is in progress and will come with a lot of new features and checks.Horizon has so much potential i hope the developer can improve it to be one of the best of the market!! :D

I've been using this plugin for some time on my server and I've made the conclusions to leave an accurate review:
At the moment the plugin still lacks of some major features , which other rival anticheats already have, for example player-specific verbose, or any sory of GUI and player flags menu.

The checks are pretty good , and not many false positive except some major issues with Phase and some killaura when the server has OldCombatMechanics enabled (which i removed).

Also ANTI-StorageESP seems to be broke at the moment when i left the review.

Decent plugin, however my administrators keep on getting falsely kicked for cheating. I had to disable several nodes that were problematic

Actually a good plugin, but it finds cheats and kicks players that do not use cheats including our supporters. Unfortunately, this happens relatively often and makes the distinction to real cheats difficult.

I am not sow false posetves when tested it. This plugin detect killaura really often and accutate and can detect simple antiknockback. Nice too see that this plugin have a render check too. Also i am tested Horizon with nohitdalay plugin and custom knock back plugin and it s also no false posetives. Keep up good work, this anticheat really clouse to the best free anticheat!

it has a lot of False positives, there are also lot of things that it can`t that worked perfectly fine in watchcat. i use flux for my research and watchcat was able to block every hack this new horizon plugin wasn't even able to block fly, i see no reason for switching to horizon. i will stay with watcat.

BEST ANTICHEAT I have ever SEEN! 99% of the detection is true! But after the update, 99.9999% of detection is true! Only phase check is kinds broken, but the dev tried to fixed it, and it did! Great community, fast support, and the best thing is, false possitives are fixed once you reported it! BEST ANTICHEAT! RECOMMENDED!!!!

Havent tried out Horizon for awhile, absolutely amazed with the combat checks due to it instantly blocking the source. Cant wait for the AntiESP checks to be added then it'll be the ultimate anticheat.

The anticheat is much like Matrix, except there are a few differences.
1: This anticheat uses heuristics to detect killaura. Matrix does, but its heuristics aren't great and it has another aura check that falses a lot.
2: This anticheat actually detects glide when you're close to the ground, unlike Matrix.
3: This anticheat falses with a lot of 1.14.X mechanics and with ViaVersion. So does Matrix, but not as much.
4: This anticheat's KillAura heuristics are actually godly, unlike Matrix.
5: The support for Horizon and Matrix are both REALLY good.
6: There are speed bypasses for Horizon, but they're not fast because of the Limit check. I swear, I'll find a way to bypass that... There are bypasses for Matrix, mainly bc it has trash slowfall and fastfall checks when close to the ground.
7: The jesus checks on both anticheat are actually shit.

Horizon prevents hacks. But you can not use Depth Strider with this plugin. It also has other false positives here and there that can not be solved by changing configurations. Still needs work.

I dont know why people keep saying this plugin is bullshit. It is honestly an amazing plugin and people should really learn how to configure an anticheat properly. With that out of the way, this is my second review of this plugin. It is the best free Anticheat I could possibly find. Blocks almost all hacks and could still use improvements. Some on the hacks that should really be blocked are BoatFly ( Flying in boats in versions 1.9 +) and Elytra+/ElytraFlight, which allows players to indefinitely fly with elytras at crazy fast speeds and crash servers. I have seen premium anticheats fix this. but I dont have the money to buy a premium anticheat. I really hope the developers can fix both if these hacks as people keep using them to crash servers.

Great plugin, easy to configure, some false positives here and there (obviously no plugin is 100% perfect). Which is what mainly got me on board with this plugin. When I got this plugin I thought it was going to be like all the other terrible free anticheats, but I was wrong this one is amazing.

A suggestion I would like to possibly see (if it isn't already a feature), I would like for the anticheat to watch ALL players, including players with OP and * permission node.

Cheats like Regen, IceSpeed, Blink, Freeze, InventoryMove (using inventory while walking) , LiquidWalk (walking on water and lava), NoSlow (no slow on soul sand), NoWeb, RemoteView, FastPlace, Liquids, Scaffold are not supported well. (these cheats are from LiquidBounce)

There is also a bag that sometimes you can't jump on slime block.

The most important problem is that when the player logins into the server he can use Fly for some seconds!!!

I agree with your hard work.
But there are some issues you may need to fix:
Killaura detection If the ComboFLY mode is crazy to block ordinary players
I think you can add a dummy inside the [better anti-cheat] plugin
That NPC will make the hacking client think it is a normal player.

Believe me, this project will greatly reduce the hack : )

I really love this plugin. its amazing! Had some issue though but with the easy to use config I could fix them in matter of minutes! :D The only downside that I've experience is thats its quite resource heavy. Im having horrible lag issues with this plugin sadly. is there a way I can change the amount of updates Horizon does or any similar settings?

This plugin is awesome the only complaint i have is with at least my server or maybe all 1.13+ servers The LiquidWalk is glitchy in the water my server is running 1.14 Paper.

First of all I want to say that I own an anarchy server, so you might be asking, WHY ARE YOU GETTING AN ANTICHEAT. Well, I am trying to allow certain hacks such as speed to a certain extent. For example I want to allow speed hacking at 6 blocks per second but not allow it if it goes above 6 blocks per second. This anticheat can be tweaked and it is honestly great for every server. I recommend that everyone uses this anticheat! I would like to make a suggestion to add a check for infinite elytra flight as that can be used to fly indefinitely.

I really like it has BungeeCord Support, so it's also great for networks.

AntiCheat very well! However, it also tests positive SCAFFOLD Type: Rotation and FLY Type: Expect when the player jumps and places the block on a height of 15 - 20 X, check it out ....

Very nice anti-cheat plugin. This will be going on my server once it is booted and opened. Please continue to update this resource as this is one of the first non-memory hogging anti-cheats available that's not buggy.

Ok its AWESOME except the ka detection is not to good (like i used jigsaw and it bypassed ez but i am going to combine with matrix to!)

Good but spams a lot the chat. Should have a "toggle" feature. It also counts people as flying while they are in between two half blocks

El caso es que tengo un servidor de SkyWars, el cual se maneja por "sign sistems" y al momento de entrar o salir de un mapa, es necesario que el usuario sea tele transportado de un mapa a otro. entonces cuando ellos entra o sale, hay una probabilidad muy alta de que el HORIZON lo detecte como hack, y los expulsa del servidor

Pero en resumen, Horizon en uno de los mejores anticheat

After 20 - 30 minutes of looking for false positives I only found 3, which is amazing! This anticheat even detected my auto clicker on low settings, this plugin is on par or better than most paid anticheats too. Really hoping that the false positives that I reported gets fixed though. Detect other cheat very well. However, the BoatFly test is badly wrong, checking Noslowdown, if a player does not use a cheat, holding a piece of meat and walking and right-clicking (to eat) will be teleported and kicked out of the server . Please fix it for me, I really like this AntiCheat: D
