HidePlugins Plugin Documentation
Overview
The HidePlugins plugin allows you to conceal your server's plugin list from players by intercepting the /pl and /plugins commands. Instead of showing the actual plugin list, the plugin displays a customizable message. This is ideal for server administrators who wish to protect sensitive information or maintain a clean server experience.
Installation
- Download the plugin jar file.
- Place the jar file into the plugins folder in your server directory.
- Restart or reload your server.
Configuration
The plugin comes with a configuration file, config.yml, which allows you to fully customize the message displayed to players when they attempt to access the plugin list.
Steps to Configure:
- After installing the plugin, navigate to the plugins/HidePlugins/ folder in your server directory.
- Open the config.yml file using a text editor.
- Locate the message option. You can edit this field to set a custom message. Use Minecraft color codes (e.g., §a, §c) for styling.
Commands and Functionality
When a player attempts to use these commands, the plugin cancels the default behavior and displays the configured message.
