Update v2.0 – Major Feature Expansion & Fixes

We're excited to announce the release of GPExpansion v2.0, a major update with brand new commands, admin tools, and backend improvements!


✨ New Features

• ️ Claim Ban System
  • /claimban <player> – Ban a player from your claim griefprevention.claimban
  • /claimunban <player> – Unban a previously banned player
  • /claimbanlist – View the list of banned players from your claim
  • Players banned from a claim can no longer enter it (teleport prevention included!)
  • griefprevention.claimban.exempt Permission for your staff members!
• Update Checker
  • Automatically checks for new plugin versions at server startup
  • Notifies admins with permission on join if a newer version is available
• Claim Kick Improvements
  • Prevents kicking players with the new griefprevention.claimkick.exempt permission
  • Now properly kicks the target player instead of the sender

Fixes

• ✅ Fixed a bug where /claimkick would initiate teleportation blocks of the sender instead of the target
• ✅ Added missing return statement after exempt permission check
• ✅ Fixed command color codes by replacing $c with §c

Internal / Chore

• Added version comparison logic for update checker
• plugin.yml now uses dynamic version replacement
• ⬆️ Updated pom.xml to version 2.0
• Cleaned up and updated TODOs in GPExpansion.java
