for some reason when starting a chunk gen, on 50k radius, i usually pause it and then i reboot the server for a change or something and then it doesnt save and it says nothing to resume and i got to restart. kind of weird and theres no discord to get assistance
The best plugin in my opinion, I tried many preload plugins in the world but this is the one that was most efficient, simplest and most complete at the same time
awsome, been using it for 1 months and it is awsome! 1. it pregen very quickly even a 90 gb file then took less then 1 hour. 2. faster then most plugin. and 3. 5 star
I have been using this plugin for the last year, and it has been by far the fastest way to pregenerate world by far! Major thanks to the dev team for this!
Amazing plugin! It is absolutely easy to use and does, what it is supposed to do. Would definetly recommend running this before your next survival-project
Your review must be at least 80 characters. Using filler characters to bypass this limit will get you punished, please write a proper and constructive review.
This is fucking the slowest plugin ever fucking 12 chunks per second. I have never seen such a slow speed. Even Chunkmaster with their bugs can do better. And what are you talking about "You got full control over how much CPU time the generation should reserve", there is literary nothing I can do to increase speed because every other setting is for paper. This plugin is garbage.
This setting lets you precisely define how much CPU time should
be aquired by the generation thread:
# Max millis the generation thread should take per tick.
# Increase for more chunks per tick and less TPS
# Should be below 35 if async.
MaxMillisPerTick: 28.5
If you define something right below 50ms (45 for example)
you will have the highest throughput possible. Sadly spigot does
not have multithreaded chunk generations like paper and is therefore
slower. This is not an omission on my part but merely a limitation
that exists because of your software choice.
I can assure you that this plugin provides the highest throughput
possible for spigot.
Version: 2.0.6
Fantastic, plugin. Enables me to have really high render distance on my small survival with some of my friends. Easy to use and well documented!
Plugin works as it should, even with not such a powerful server, it took me around 10h to pregenerate 1550000 chunks, and I'd say that's pretty fast. Consider using async because it lags your main thread less, which just means.. your server don't lag
Thx for the nice Plugin. It does the Job very good and fast. And to all the "kiddies" who say it is slow, its not the plugin its your config or your server. We have a server with a singlecore performance of 29000 and we pregen 10.000.000 chunks in half an hour. Good job guys
This plugin is awful. I tried to use it to pregen my world and it was SO SLOW! Skip the pain and just use Chunky pregen. In the time it has taken me to write this, chunky has pregenerated more than this plugin did in 16+hours... And to top it all off, the pregen that it did do was corrupt and I had to completely redo the pregen I wasted 3+ days doing. Thanks for wasting my time.

Very nice plugin, really enjoy it. But I saw this on your page "force as many chunk loads as possible in order to pregenerate your world at higher speeds." you said. How can I make generate chunks faster, when no one is using the server?
Hope all the erros in the discussion section will be fixed. The same errors appears for me, and custom generation datapacks seems to not be supported, not like WorldBorder.
Ngl, FCP has a better performance (for me at least), but the chunks are not generating as intended to be.
Hey author , hi i m a server owner/developer , i loved ur plugin but i want
a small future in it that ... the plugin should not ask us to give that X and Z cords to genrate it should genrate FULL world until it reaches the boder this thing is just i want in ur plugin ALSO sorry for my spelling mistakes :) .... U can dm me on discord if u want : Mcu#6826
===========================================================Thank You
I am stunned… EXCELLENT WORK DUDE!
Fast, beautiful, just perfect!
It is able to generate more than 20000 Blocks in every direction.
Just: *** I N S A N E ***
Works very fast, efficient and keeps users notified. An excelent plugin and must-have in all of my servers. Using update 1.0.9 seemed about 30 chunks/sec constant, however aftear update 2.0.2 beta, this lowered to 18-20 chunks. I tweaked it, but dosn't seem to work.
I can assure you that v2 is faster.
There are biomes that are more complex than others and thus take a lot longer to generate. If you send me your specs and config i might be able to sqeeze a bit more out. ^^
Version: 2.0.1 Beta
Mejora bastante la carga de chunks, falta probar la nueva version pero de momento no me ha defraudado
If you sepcify a radius of 1k then there will be obvsly more than 16k chunks that need to be generated... thats just simple geometry and i cant change the laws of physics :(
Version: 1.0.9
Works pretty fast. Just as an FYI if the command is not working with your world, your world name must not contain any spaces. Tested on 1.16.1 Paper (#1)
Works great on 1.16. Surprisingly fast too. I finished generating the 2500x2500 nether in just about a minute. Maybe it was so fast because players had already generated all of the nether. It's also really easy to use. I couldn't get ChunkMaster to work. I'm definitely going to try this again for future worlds.
Right now I can't even use it and I think it's because my world name has a space in it. Right now I'm trying to download my world off of my server host but progress is iffy. Hopefully I'll actually be able to use it and change my review.
works great its pretty gentle on the server much faster than some others I tested. However if the server does run out of memory or crash it seems to forget how much chunks its done. it had 1.2 mill when i went to bed woke up it had crashed started it again and it still had 1.2 mill but the file size of the map was 100mb bigger.
Good for efficient chuck pregeneration, exactly as it bills itself to be. Not recommended to run with players online, it's difficult to throttle it enough to keep TPS up and once you have not many chunks get generated anyways. A dynamic generation speed feature would probably be great for this use case.
Terrible plugin. Been waiting hours to only have all the loaded chunks vanish. Only use this when you have a dedicated machine. Otherwise, use chunkmaster.
Worldborder kept crashing my server generating chunks, since it isn't fully compatible with 1.15.2 but this plugin saved me, thank you so much my server was crashing so many times and now with this plugin it works like magic, without this i don't know if i'd be able to preload my worlds.
everything i tried doenst work. plz help me i will give you 5 stars if it works. i have a problem with generating. because it goes inmiditlely to 50% so its skipping half
It is the fastest ive seen so far, great work!
Getting up to 350 Chunks per second consistently.
I have found a couple of bugs im going to report but theyre just typos so nothing serious. Its amazingly fast, you should try it guys!
EDIT: The Dev responds really fast and is really nice.

Idk what to say... at 1.0.5 this man had a chunk generator I was extremely pumped about, Now it shows % complete and allows vanilla border generation... Still the fastest chunk gen I have tried and I have tried a few -.- Also the paper Async chunk loading is no joke.
Paper implemented async chunk loading in 1.13
so even if i wanted to i simply can't :( sry
Version: 1.0.4b
After these latest updates, this plugin is EXACTLY what I wanted. The CPU usage dropped by over half of what is was when I enabled paperspigot features. The progress messages are also very helpful. Thank you for updating this resource, it is amazing now!
Noice :D just need to add a pause command.
If you have suggestions (i want to expand on more chunk related stuff like cleaning items from chests etc.) feel free to pm me.
Version: 1.0.1
Good plugin and works without any issues.
But how did review before this was able to test everything so deeply and even write a long review in less than 30 minutes?
The plugin was launched 30 min before my review...
I've used 3 different plugins now for pregenerating a large map now, and this one is awesome!
When comparing it to WorldBorder fill, we see that this plugin avoids the disastrous bug in WorldBorder that causes custom terrain to revert to default chunks when generating.
When comparing it to ChunkMaster, we see that each has their own pros and cons. The pros of chunkmaster is the ability to stop generating when it hits the worldborder, a fairly low CPU usage, frequent progress messages, and most importantly it's ability to take advantage of paperspigot, and it's various async utilities. The cons are occasional bugs with chunks being skipped, as well as a sacrifice of slightly higher memory usage to keep CPU usage lower.
The pros of Fast Chunk Pregenerator are it's incredibly fast chunk pregenerating (could be affected by my chunks having already been generated by other plugins, but it definitely seems much faster), its useful generation information, and it's fairly low memory usage. The cons are hard to look past. The first con is the tradeoff for a low memory usage, which is a high CPU usage. This plugin started chewing away from my CPU the moment I started generating the map. Due to the high CPU usage, the TPS drops significantly, close to 12 tps at times. The next con is the lack of paperspigot usage. If this plugin took advantage of paperspigot's utilities, then it would be much much better. The final con is the lack of update messages. It would be nice if you just had a console message sent every so often giving status updates.
My overall review is 4/5 stars. The plugin lives up to the "Fast" part of its name. There are a few improvements that I would like to see made, as well as some QOL updates.
Goodluck in your development, and thank you for this awesome plugin!
Thanks for the extensive review. I think i can implement async chunk calls for paper and frequent update messages. Also a pause function would be fairly easy to implement. Ill see what i can do ^^
