This update adds support for more factions plugins, however one of these plugins has caused me to create a separate jar file for it alone. The jar file named "FactionSilk (FUUID, MC Facs, LegacyFacs)" works for FactionsUUID, MassiveCraft Factions and LegacyFactions, while the other jar (named "FactionSilk (SaberFactions)") will
only work with SaberFactions.
Added Features: - Added support for LegacyFactions (this is part of the main jar)
- Added support for SaberFactions (this is the separate jar)
Updated Features: - Updated the factions plugin detection system to more accurately detect the factions plugin, this in turn should make it easier to determine whether or not the factions plugin being used is supported
After a long time without posting an update for the FactionSilk plugin, I've decided to release an update. There were multiple things that needed to be changed and fixed from the old version, these will be addressed below.
Added Features: - Added support for MassiveCraft Factions
- Added console messages that show if the factions plugin being used is supported
- Added a config file, containing 'allowedItems' and 'requireSilkTouch', how to use these will be mentioned under all the changes
Removed Features: - Removed f bypass being used, therefore will no longer be active for people with permission after breaking a spawner
Removed Bugs: - Fixed console being spammed with errors
- Fixed world guard being required
Config The 'allowedItems' section is a list of all items that can be used to break spawners in claimed land. The items in the list should use an underscore (_) instead of spaces or instead item ids can also be used. Example for if you wanted to allow diamond pickaxes to break spawners in claimed land: 'diamond_pickaxe' or '278'
The 'requireSilkTouch' section of the config will determine whether silk touch will be needed on one of the allowed in order for it to break the spawner ('true' enables this and 'false' disables it)
If there are any other changes that are wanted please let me know and I will do my best to update the plugin again, I will also be trying to be slightly more active and releasing a few more plugins in the future.
Another update is here! This update will offer a few new features that I thought would be useful for everybody who is using this plugin. If you do find any bugs I'd be happy to fix them if you pm me about them because I do not currently know of any bugs and I would love to see there being no bugs/glitches.
Added Features:
- Added support with WorldGuard.
- Added better detection in the console to help see why the plugin is not loading (e.g. not using FactionsUUID).
Removed Bugs:
- Saying you need a silk touch diamond pickaxe to mine a spawner in the wilderness.
I am happy to announce that I have re-coded the FactionSilk plugin to make it better for the FactionsSilk 1.1 version. This includes adding more features and removing bugs. I am also sorry about the length of time it took. If you find any bugs please make sure to report it to me as soon as you can and I will do my best to try and fix them.
Removed Bugs:
- Sometimes not mining the block at all
- Sometimes still mining the block, however saying that the block cannot be mined in that location.
Added Features:
- The ability to give people access to mine spawners in different lands using permissions.
- Added support for truces if you have a custom version of FactionsUUID or if truces get added in the future (or if they're already in the game and I somehow just haven't noticed).
