You've seen the concept rehashed a thousand times before: particle trails with custom configurations to make them look awesome. Sometimes they're free, but last for two versions before losing support. Sometimes they're paid, but it can be hard to justify doing so for a cosmetic perk. Why can't we have the best of both worlds?

With full permission configuration, EdenTrails offers tons of different trail configurations all with permissions and a simple to use trail GUI. Support for future versions is nearly guaranteed, as this is the trail plugin I use for my own server, which follows most Minecraft updates as they happen.

There are seven different types of trails:

• Feet: Trails that generate from the player's feet
• Head: Trails that generate from the player's head
• Angel Wings: Particles form in the shape of angel wings
• Butterfly Wings: Particles form in the shape of butterfly wings
• Rain: Particles form a colored cloud, and item particles rain down from that cloud
• Explode: Particles scatter out from the player's feet
• Halo: Particles form a halo shape around the player's head

Additionally, there is a setup for rainbow-colored particles for those that are colorable, and some preset pride flag trail particles based on the potion effect and dust particles.

Each trail has its own permission node down to the type of trail and particle. For example, you could give someone the halo angry villager particle trail (edentrail.use.halo.ANGRY_VILLAGER) but not have access to the head trail of the same (edentrail.use.head.ANGRY_VILLAGER). This allows for customizing and packaging trails as you deem fit. If using permissions, it does take some knowledge of Bukkit particle names, a list of which can be found here.

Future Ideas:
If there's demand, I may include some future ideas alongside maintaining version updates. For example, some ideas:

• Config for customizing trail placement relative to player
• Config for customizing icons for trails
• Config for customizing names for trails
• Config for adding new rain trails
• Config for adding new flag trails

Lastly, some of these ideas were based off a now-defunct trails plugin that included some of these trail types, like rain and wings. This had been a premium plugin, but it no longer exists in any capacity, and so I have attempted to revisit these ideas. Certainly if that plugin still existed I would have not attempted to recreate this, but I unfortunately cannot give credit for the original idea as I can no longer find evidence anywhere of it existing.
