Description:
This plugin allows you to play hardcore with your friends, while sharing a set number of lives that you can change on the fly. Additionally, you can add more lives to the server by sacrificing diamonds, and even revive teammates by sacrificing server lives.
Commands:
/hclives
This command will show you the amount of lives your server has.
/hclives help
This command shows all plugin commands
/hclives sacrifice [amount]
This command will sacrifice diamonds and give you lives instead. type the amount of lives you would like to add to the server. 2 diamonds will be removed per life added. Diamonds must be in inventory. Additionally, you can type '/hclives sacrifice help' for help with the command in server.
/hclives revive [playername]
This command will revive a player at the cost of 2 server lives. A player will only completely die once the server is out of lives, setting that player to spectate mode. Sacrifice diamonds to add more lives to the server, then you can use those lives to revive a player. Typing this command will teleport the player to your position and place them back into survival mode, allowing them to continue playing the game. Additionally, you can type '/hclives revive help' for help with the command in server.
Config:
Simply add the plugin to your server and run the server. This will create a folder called 'DeathCounter' inside the plugins folder. once server is fully loaded, you can shut the server off and locate the file 'worldSaves.txt' inside the folder. open the file and set the amount of lives to the numbery you desire. Default lives are set to 5.
If the plugin does not create the files for what ever reason, add a folder in your plugins folder called 'DeathCounter' inside the folder, create a .txt document called 'WorldSaves.txt' open the text document, add a number and NOTHING ELSE. Save the file, close it, and run the server.
