Great plugin, super well thought out and very easy to setup.
Works on my 1.21.3 server!

Works great in the overworld but doesn't work in the nether at all. Instead of creating a soul when I die in the nether it just spawns me with all my items, as if I had keep inventory on.

I like this plugin more than other death chest plugins because it doesn't create a block where I die so I would love if there was a way to fix this issue.

Feature request: Would really like a way to check your death coordinates, in case someone dies in multiple different places and cant remember where it was.

plugin should have Message Config,
and you can add GUI LIST for player souls list

An excellent plugin specially for a survival type of server. I can't hide that I'd like to see a feature that like, when players die, they also have the option to get back their items using economy (500$ [in-game currency] for example)

It simple and doesnt replace block like chest gravestones. Its just what i want for any server!

Excellent plugin. Works like a charm.
For others who want to use this hand in hand with essentials keep inventory and keep exp permission. You have to negate com.darkyen.minecraft.deadsouls.hassoul.inv for keep inventory and com.darkyen.minecraft.deadsouls.hassoul.xp for keep exp. Otherwise items and exp will still be placed in souls upon dying. Hopefully we get a world guard support for flags in the future.

I installed this as a replacement for a similar grave generating plugin, and I enjoy this a bit more. The use of particles rather than blocks helps to prevent any potential conflicts.

Another great "death chest" plugin but this one is more simple because you just have to walk over the soul to get the items. Love it!

Hey you'll probably never read this in time but I was wondering if you wanted to make a spin off idea where instead of getting a "teleport" button in the souls list it simply shows coordinates. I was going to make it so that players in my server could fight over souls by racing them to coordinates instead of giving them a teleport button. I tried using your source code but I don't know java. Just showing coordinates would be enough a teleport button would be OP.

Compared to other corpse plugins, this is an excellent plugin for inserting creativity, but I hope the author can add support for the ItemSoulBind https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/itemsoulbind.64541/ plugin and can set different worlds to launch separately

I currently use the plugin on Paper 1.15.2 (I tested this plugin to work properly tonight), but unfortunately it cannot be used with ItemSoulBind (players can bind certain items, so they will not Drop)

It works pretty well, you can configure it as you want and translate the messages... just make it possible to turn on and off that the Player see the Coordinates of there soal and you get the 5th star too!

love the idea of the plugin love exp and all that and maybe later on be able to save item drops inside that bubble but anyways cool little plugin

Very well done, the configuration options are wonderful. Especially useful for alleviating concerns about manual/automatic server cleanups causing items to vanish before players can get back.

I'd love to see an option to have souls free and fade expiration time be based on around the total XP a player had upon death, alongside an XP decay over time option.

To keep players informed, a private message alongside the free soul button on how much time they have till it goes free/fades would be nice as well, independent of the XP-based free and fade conditions so it works for static expiration configurations too.

It's a very cool plugin to store player's drops!
Some suggestions: How about make it configurable that players drop their items like usual, should they fall into the void or pit of lava?
And what about configurations to drop the equipment and items in hands only but store others into the soul?

Works great! It would be nice if you could implement permission based setting of XP retention. For example, a VIP user could retain 90% exp but normal users would lose 75%. Something like that. Otherwise, this works perfectly. :)

Really great and original plugin. The only thing that bothers me is that you can't change the messages or the language of the plugin. (Missing lang.yml)

This is perfect for a survival/rpg, it looks great, not out of place. What I like is that players only have a brief amount of time before anyone else to claim their loot, and that the player can release their soul as soon as they die.
