CustomMessages v1.3:

What's new:

• New Commands
  • setjoinmessage
  • setquitmessage
  • cmreload
• New more stable Update Checker
  • Not only will it show in the console, it will now send a message to the joining player if there is an update. (You must be OP or have the permission)
• Now, when a non OP or someone who does not have permissions, the command will not show up to be executed.
• THE ONLY UNIVERSAL COMMAND IS /motd
• When changing MOTD, join message, or quit message by command, you can use color code and it will then display in said colors.

The next update is here as I continue to work on more.

New in 1.2

• 2 New commands are available

• • /motd (shows current MOTD, everyone can use but will only send to the player who used the command)
  • /motdset (sets the MOTD. Can ONLY be used by people with permissions to the said command. You can see and even change the permission needed in the config.yml. Also, OPs can use it as well)
• Permissions have been added to MOTD setting and have been tested using LuckPerms. You can change the message it shows to players of whom cannot use the Command as well.
• When a player changes the MOTD, it will show to everyone what the new MOTD is and who changed it. For example: "KoolDudeZKilla has set the new MOTD: Have a good day!"
• When any player uses /motd, it will show the new MOTD.

1.1 Update:

• Added an update checker, when reloading or starting the server, the logger will now tell you when there is an update
• Cleaned some misc. code up.

COMING to 1.2 Update:

• Command /motd - will show the set MOTD
• Permissions will be added for the commands (permissions disabled by default)

Biggest feature that is still being worked on is the deathMessages.
