Frankly, I have never seen a plugin so possessive.
It does not let you disable the update check, and you can't even do that by deleting the message in the language file as it will recover on reload.
It's unbearable, it's not a 1 star only for how it does what other plugins can't and at least it doesn't show the update message to players.

J'utilisais ce plugin auparavant et il fonctionnait bien, mais depuis quelques mois (voire années), il est devenu un véritable nid à bugs, à fuir. C'est vraiment dommage, car il n'existe pas beaucoup d'alternatives, et l'interface est plutôt bien conçue pour créer des crafts facilement — même si elle n’est pas encore très intuitive.

Les développeurs semblent débordés, et les mises à jour se font vraiment attendre.
J’aime ce plugin, mais tous ces problèmes m’empêchent de l’apprécier pleinement.
Je n'ose même pas acheter la version payante en voyant l'état de la version gratuite.

Great plugin, when it works. Unfortunately, it usually doesn't. Constant error messages, the recipe book resets whenever I reload the plugin or restart the server, no ExecutableBlocks support, custom smelting recipes don't stack, meaning that if you want custom smelting recipes, you need a hopper under your furnace.

Unfortunately, this is the best we have for what it does. So that's why it's anything but 1 star.

This plugin has 0 supprt, releases don't work on paper/purpur servers. If you want support for latest version you should wait at least few months for maybe sort of working plugin. Don't buy premium like i did as it's as bad as free version

Great plugin, until one day, all my recipes were gone and I cound't create new ones. I have seen that other people have had this issue too lately. It is not compatible with ExecutableBlocks either because it says that the recipe is empty when I try to create it. The discord server did not help.

Really awesome plugin, tons of features and customization options. I really just wish the developer would spend a lot more time fixing bugs and polishing.

The GUI feels super buggy to use, half of the times my items just vanished. Also had a situation where I did "save as" but it was still linked to another recipe's end result.

The permission condition doesn't show for Smithing (unsure if this is normal). Even if it did show it doesn't seem to work tho, I did a test with crafting table and it worked fine until I restarted my server afterwards it broke completely.

Overall don't suggest seems not stable for usage on servers. Cool GUI idea but needs some polishing before I reconsider using.

Great plugin an easy to use, gui can be a little buggy if you try to do stuff to fast. wish there will be a 1.21 update soon for this plugin.

I previously rated 3 stars but after finding out just how many bugs this plugin has... I don't even wanna give it one. Half the time the plugin just up and breaks on you while you're making custom items, or just flat out deletes the items and recipes you just created, making you do them all over again.

My server runs on 1.19.4, and CustomCrafting has been a life saver for a while now. It seems you can't add potion effects to anything, nor remove already existing ones. If I try to remove an instant health potion's effects, and give it regen instead, it keeps the instant health.

The plugin always has problems, it works 1 out of 100,000 times and when I ask for help on support it takes me 2 days to receive a response. I am not considered and my server always has the same problem on crafting due to the malfunction of this plugin

Good job, I haven't touched my 1.16.5 server a few months - I see update available and it says I need java 16.
I upgrade to java 16 - it doesn't support 1.16.5!
And page states that it supports 1.16+

Crafting issue:
When I select from the cookbook (green book - minecraft vanilla) an item to craft that requires all 9 slots, if I craft more than one at the same time, the bottom right slot causes the items it contains to disappear. Making me only 1 item.

CustomCrafting works excellent at what it needs to do. Although the occasional issue may pop up, the plugin has active support on Discord to help you through any problems.

The recipe book seems to only have the Advanced Crafting Table and the Recipe Book's recipe.

The latest update fixed everything in my previous review. With all of those bugs fixed, this is definitely a must-have plugin once again.

While still a really great plugin overall, I had to lower my rating down another star because of several major issues that haven't been fixed in a month or more. Recipe lookups are buggy, stacking recipes STILL briefly double the stack, which could the trigger the IllegalStack plugin and cause the player to lose their items, and a very major dupe glitch is still unfixed. At least the developer said the dupe glitch would be fixed very soon. These issues have been reported numerous times, yet fixes are coming in slow. This plugin is great, but keep in mind that there are still a few major bugs.

Really great plugin! It's the bread and butter for my server, and it's cool that it's compatible with so many plugins. However, recipes that stack items are pretty buggy, so hopefully that gets fixed.

It is the best Customcrafting recipe plugin i have ever met. There are no errors. Easy to use. I would like to have an addon or and update to make recipies to the Slimefun station

The plugin is great in theory but theres so many bugs that require you to basically delete everything and start again because no errors are given... the server just refuses to launch. The dev doesn't really respond to git issues either, and if they do they hide the fixes behind a paywall and are pretty dismissive when you bring it up. I like to trial plugins before I donate but can barely even get it working.

I've only just begun testing this but so far it works like a charm.

And the best part? IT DIRECTLY SUPPORTS (via WolfyUtilities):
- MMOItems
- ItemsAdder
- Oraxen
- MythicMobs (requires extra item setting)

Why is this important?
Let's say you have a custom item from one of these plugins then half way through the map you need to change it. That'll change the meta data of the item. For plugins that only match meta data, in short, it means it'll break a lot of existing items in the world in order to support your updated version of the item. But if it has direct support- instead of saving the item's exact data- it saves a reference to the plugin item it comes from. Meaning if you update the item it will auto-update in your CustomCrafting recipes too!

I've spent literally years trying to find a plugin that does this.

This plugin is amazing for small smp servers, you can make any recipes you want with any custom tools / weapons you make, but there is one BIG problem for me with this plugin, if you make the recipe include custom player heads, when someone trys to craft it, the heads will become steve heads and for some reason it makes the item numbers glitch out with some of the items as well, i don't know if this is fixable, but if it is i will gladly make this rating 5 stars :).

Great plugin, it's easy to add new crafting recipes.
Unfortanetly the support isn't great the dev told me 4 Month ago he will fix a bigger bug, but it's still there.
Also he only answere some of the newest messages in his discord.

It's a great plugin, when it works, which is far from being a given if you use the free version. I'm fine with paying for plugins, but using Patreon makes this more expensive than high profile plugins as well as the worst possible model there is: lock patches instead of features. Instead of locking features to a premium version, the free version is full featured but is completely locked from much needed bug fixes which can easily break a large portion of recipes for an unknown amount of time, be it weeks or several months. Especially after a large rewrite of the code, which happens to break a lot of previous features, we've been waiting several weeks for an update that, at first glance, is long since fixed for the premium version (with any luck).
As much as I would like to promote this plugin, there's no way I can get behind that monetization model, sorry.

Overall it's really good plugin, but the fact that you need to be patreon to get huge bugfix release bothers me. I mean I understand that since it's free plugin, you need to get money from somewhere, but fixing disappearing recipes where your plugin is for creating recipes shouldn't be premium thing. Hope you get what I mean. Adding something new only for patreons is obviously great move, but not paying for small update which would make this plugin even usable since it's considered "free plugin"

Great plugin, perfect for lazy developers who don't want to mess with Itemstacks for hours to create items and armor/weapons. Everything is perfect, would recommend to everyone but one thing I find confusing is the brewing stand recipe editor. Hi. This plugin looks amazing, but i have a issue (plugin is in red in /plugins and literally dont works) on my minehut server (which one i use to try plugins). I did'nt found your discord server so if you can give me this one :)

There is a very bad duplication bug. When you try to craft something but you spam shift click, it will drop literally thousands of the ingredients on the floor.
It works better if there is slightly high ping or slightly to very low TPS. Players were using very expensive crafting recipes and getting multiple double-chests of the ingredients.
Again, how to reproduce: just place a recipe in the crafting table, and spam shift-click the result. We also noticed it only works with certain players that have high ping. It's very devastating seriously.

This is very buggy, you can take items out of the gui editor sometimes, and the built in mechanism to make potions is almost unusable. I ended up using mcstacker to create custom potion recipes, and the knowledge book doesn't update when you update a recipe.

So far, really useful in creating custom crafting recipes. I was loving it, loving it, loving it, up until I got to making custom cauldron recipes. they don't work. I've tried multiple different recipes. I've tried ones with resources like iron, and ones with blocks like dirt. I've tried with and without fire, and I've tried every level of water. Finally, I tried them with the dropping and the picking up options. I just cannot get them to work, no matter how hard I try. Otherwise, This is a great plugin that I'd certainly recommend.

I use Minecraft Spigot 1.14.4. I downloaded this plugin and Wolfyutilies at the last version. Just doesn't work. I can see that the plugin is loaded but nt working. Some fix? Thanks ^-^

To anyone having problems with the recent updates to WolfyUtilities and CustomCrafting, you should revert back to older stable versions while Wolfy tries to fix them.

CustomCrafting 1.6.4.0 and WolfyUtilities 1.6.2.19 seem to work fine with my old backup folder.

After downloading these versions, start the server, log into it, then type in the command: /recipes save

I used to use this plugin before and it was op

It is an extremely good and easy to use plugin. I would give it 5 stars however the author does not do thorough bug checks before releasing the new versions. This is a big problem and there are many stability issues.

But i failed to change the name and description of the advanced workbench.And the most important is I cannot apply the new file of my local language to the plugin,I can only use English version...

its really nice plugin but the menu is just sooo glitchy. you can easily take items out and get them from it, both from menu and knowledge books... if u do it in menu itll even just break the plugin...
its sad, it was really nice plugin and all, but im not gonna use if it breaks so easily

I have notice problem crossing with plugin PortableHorses
When you add staats to horse arrmor and use on horse after horse its saved in saddle the stats become permament on horse no matter if the arrmor is on horse or not. Aim more then sure its becouse of the metod used in the PortableHorses but i wonder can you secure this some way ?

Really nice plugin, but I'm having an issue where I'm trying to set an elite recipe to only a certain elite workbench, but every time I type the fold and name of the workbench the plugin says the workbench doesn't exist or isn't loaded when I have it in my hand. Pls fix!

The absolute best but brewing recipes don't work. The potion just becomes air and ingredients are wasted.

I can't use it in aternos because i don't know how to modify the Wolfyutilities and i gave 5 stars because this looks really good and i want to use it for my server.

I Like This plugin, so good but idk how i can enable a recipe to workbench? I disable advanced workbench and it didnt work.

This plugin would be even better if you made a elite anvil. With that you could possibly be able to make the elite crafting table gui customizable with an event so if you make an item the gui will change like a showCraftedItem event I think it would be even more amazing than it already is.

Honestly Wolfy, this should be a Premium plugin, it just features many, many amount of options, it is a shame to put this for free. I will pay over 100 dollars on this plugin, it is just awesome. Excellent plugin! I needed this for my real-life server. It's an economy based server and I needed this plugin to add custom crafts with custom items. An example is I can make a steak act like a hamburger, I make a plugin where when the name is changed to Hamburger the item reacts differently when eating. To make it cool I use the optifine mod(not required) to change the textures when an item is called different. The only thing I would want is custom brewing.

the dev seems to be ignoring the 1.16.x error and we are still waiting for his response.

We have other plugins but this worked until 1.16.1 update. Please help. This plugin is great and giving it the 5 stars it deserves.

It’s great on 1.15 but 1.16 doesn’t currently work, for some reason it fails to load when using the newest version of both CC and WU has to switch back to the 1.15 version on my 1.16 server

Please update so we can make custom crafts in the blacksmith, that would be so cool and I assume pretty easy to do since there are only a few slots and no recipe book.

Holy crap the possibilities this plugin gives your server is just insane. i have just downloaded and installed the plugin and exploring a bit im actually in awe of this plugin as a whole. Example: say you have quests on your server. You could create a quest and have it setup however and have that quest reward you with a normal item, like a stone block for example. you can have that stone block have a unique name, or even enchant it. then you use that item to be used with other items to create any kind of item that you can possible think of.

Excellent plugin. Had been messing around with data packs on my server for a while experimenting with custom crafting, but got disappointed upon finding that datapack crafting doesn't support NBT/metadata by default... and after some searching, found this! The GUI is very intuitive, and I had little to no trouble getting this plugin to do exactly what I needed. Overall, CustomCrafting is wonderful; I'm really grateful that this exists and is free.

This plugin has got really good features and fairly simple. But where can you edit the elite workbench's size, its just a regular 3x3 when you place. Please tell me how.

This plugin is the best custom crafting plugin you can get right now. To be honest I think this should be a premium resources, as a reward to the developer, this plugin is not easy at all and have features you would expect from a premium plugin.

Love this plugin so much! Do you guys ever plan on adding brewing stand recipes, if this is impossible then maybe there could be a chest gui for it, kind of like what there is in Hypixel Skyblock.

Plugin doesn’t work correctly on the 1.8 version which is downloadable if you go on the discord, tried to get help but ended up fighting with some guy on the discord, not a pleasant experience when asking for help.

A few inconvenient bugs, but nothing harmful. Recipe creation GUI is very well designed and flexible, and custom item creation equally so.
A few questions to the developer if they see this:
-Is there a way in the plugin to make recipes involving stacked items? (eg diamond block -> 9 diamonds)
-Is there a way to edit the damage or attack speed of a tool so that it becomes a base value (in green text) not a modifier (in red or blue)?
and also
-I ran into a weird issue where some recipes I made (unsure which ones) caused mineral block to ingot recipes and log to plank recipes to break unexpectedly. I deleted all recipes involving diamond blocks and the diamond block recipe still didn't work. I'll keep looking for a solution in the meantime, but do you know the issue by any chance?

Excellent plugin! Although the Elite Workbench still has a few bugs, it's in beta so can't really give a 4-star review just because of that :) . Hopes it will be finished soon though :D

Really impressive plugin, there is no flaws I can see. You can do a lot with this plugin and really friendly to other plugins too.

This is one of the few really good plugins out there. It's very user-friendly , its full of features and its so easy to learn that i didnt even need a tutorial to know how to use it. Although im not gonna give it a perfect 5 star yet, because theres a variety of bugs in this plugin, such as bugs that when i edit a recipe, it doesnt change so i have to delete it and then recreate it. But, overall, this is an excellent plugin and i wouldnt even be suprised if it was paid only.

I really like the plugin. It does have a few flaws but they seem to get patched fast. Almost the perfect plugin because it has a GUI showing available recipes. Any form of economy/exp integration to purchase available recipes would rock.

Pretty good just one error I had. Items that are renamed without italics get italicized and in the process, the text color turns yellow. (It was originally white for me.) Other than that, perfect from what I can see.

I rate it 5 stars because it's very intuitive and easy for me to use. However, is there a way for me to see the recipes after I make them? I can't seem to actually use the "edit recipe" function in /cc studio, it asks me for directory so I do what you do when you save a recipe and type "Armor [insert item name]. It then tells me the recipe doesn't exist, which is clearly does as I can craft them, and I can look back in chat to see what directory I saved them to.

If there's a way to see recipes let me know, especially if I can somehow loop it to players so they can see for themselves. It's not hard to remember usually, but after I had upwards of a hundred recipes, this is gonna get really difficult to keep track of.

i rate it 4 stars because i really like the plugin but the crafting table gives xp on the grindstone which should be disabled :(

It's not for 1.8.8 and also its pretty buggy tbh. I wish that you could make your own recipe and have an enchant on it. Also I wish you could change the durability ect and have it to whatever damage it can do.

The GUI is great. I was able to create several custom recipes with ease!

But I just rebuilt Spigot today and downloaded the latest versions of CC and Wolfy, and for some reason the recipes don't seem to be working properly. I can create them and their folders appear, but the recipes don't usually work unless I go back in and save them in the GUI after creating them. And even then, they stop working after I reload the client or after a server restart. Could I be doing something wrong?

Really fantastic plugin. It's so easy to use that it was hard for me to figure out at first because I was overthinking it big time. Just don't try to combine items with too much nbt data for crafting and it'll work fine every time. The menu based controls allows for very fast and seamless recipe creation which is exactly what we needed.

This plugin is life saver for any server that needs custom recipes and its better than recipemanager. It has nice qui and its easy to use. If someone has problems with this one just join discord ask for help there.

This plugin has potential to be the best custom recipe plugin there is. But in its current state i CANNOT recommend using it, unless you want some of your vanilla recipes, the ones that are ALREADY ion the game, to no longer function. The ability to delete or edit a recipe is broken, but this is minor, you can just save the recipe with the same name as a current recipe to edit the current recipe. All in all, id watch this resource and use it when there are sufficient bugfixes.

I will edit this review once the plugin is in better shape.

I like it it's very nice but there is one thing i wish i could do and that is why i gave it 4 stars. custom potions do not work when i craft it they come out with no effect. It would be really nice if you could fix this and btw your discord link doesn't work most likely because you didn't make it a permanent invite.

It took me a moment to figure out how to use the in game editor, but once I did this plugin really changed the entire gameplay of my server in a positive way. The only things I would like to see added are maybe add descriptions in the config for those of us who like to do it manually and a command to list the created custom items in game. The GUI is perfect but it has some bugs.
Also you haven't got a command to show all recipes or that you can turn the sound off!
When you save the recipes and get an error, you will be send the message twice.

When all bugs are fixed, you get 5 stars!

Good but I have a very big Problem....... i can´t save new recipes.... I get this message:

You haven´t set the recipe id yet!

The plugin seems to be very good, gave to test the basics of how the assembly system of the recipes works, however it does not work perfectly in version 1.13.1 and higher, could you do an update for these versions?

The new update 3.0 is really great! Don't be afraid, after you get the idea of the settings, it's really great! Recommend, also dev is helpful and tries to fix things and improve them! Keep up the great work!

Perfect plugin for my server. Works great! In the beginning I had a problem but the author helped me to get it fixed. <3
