Crafty Controller -----

Minecraft server managment interface. (Java and Bedrock)

Version: 4.4.4
Hey there, thanks for the quick response!

First off, big kudos to you guys for keeping Crafty running smooth despite the jar provider hiccup! Totally understandable—server life can be wild like that. But let me tell you, if Spigot comes back to the fold, I’ll be throwing a mini celebration party (maybe even with some creeper confetti)!

Also, while we're dreaming big, any chance you might consider adding Arclight to the Crafty lineup? It's like the best of both worlds, plugins AND mods in one Minecraft wonderland! ✨ That would be legendary.

And hey, I’m already using Rclone for backups, but imagine if Crafty had it built right in, like a magical backup wizard that waves its wand and whoosh! Google Drive's got your data, no worries at all. ‍♂️ Now that would be top-tier wizardry!

Anyway, thanks again for all the hard work! Keep crafting awesome updates, and I’ll be here hyped for what’s next.

Version: 4.4.3
CraftyController is an amazing piece of software! The interface is clean and user-friendly, and it makes managing my Minecraft server so much easier. However, I noticed that it currently doesn’t support Spigot for server creation. Spigot is a widely used server platform, and adding support for it would make Crafty even more versatile.

Additionally, it would be fantastic to have an automatic backup feature integrated, especially with support for backing up to Google Drive. This would give server owners peace of mind knowing their data is safely stored.

Thank you for the great work so far, and I look forward to future updates!

Version: 4.2.3
Very happy with the ease of use and the installation process. My only complaint, would be adding a means to delete the server files from installations. Like SFTP or something, maybe ssh scp? I'm just spitballing, but please include an easier way to remove files in future releases :) Again, very much a fan, just a simple suggestion for a feature. Thanks yall

Hi, we have included features we think make it pretty easy to delete server files in current versions. You can right click on any file or folder in the "files" tab where a context menu will pop up with a number of options - one of them being a delete button.

Not only that, but if you're deleting the whole server we prompt for you to be able to delete all the server files while deleting the server.

Thanks for the review :)

Hi, I'm sorry, but I think you may be mistaken. There is in fact a mac version. We outline mac install instructions in our wiki. If you need some help installing on mac please join our discord or create an issue on our Gitlab page.
I just want to be very clear there is a mac version of Crafty and based on survey responses I can tell you we have many users successfully running this on mac. I am actually one of them.

This is amazing! But I give it only 4 stars becuase of a faulty installation script. I'm kinda a linux noob, so maybe it's my fault, but as far as I understood, the installation script creates a user, logs in as the user, and then tries to use a sudo command, then proceeds to fail beucase it doesn't have permissions. I fixed it by following the manual install and giving the user sudo permissions when creating it. So yeah, nice idea, but kinda broken installation script (As far as I understand with my limited knowledge). Also the docs are kinda outdated (Or at least the autostart part, that refers to a comment on gitlab, but the command used is wrong, pointing to a non-existing script.

Hi! Thank you for the review. On Linux the crafty user is not supposed to have sudo permissions. I'm afraid you might have been mistaken in the setup somewhere if you gave the crafty user sudo permissions. I'd recommend removing the crafty user from the sudo group.

We are aware the linux installer should make sure all of its scripts have execution permissions and we're actually about to push an update where the script gives itself those permissions.

Version: 4.0.1
This software is absolutely incredible, not only is it open-source, but it's completely free, and is much better than any alternatives I have found. The only issue I have with it is that it's difficult to set up on a mac, which is why I haven't used it until recently. I'm upgrading my server PC and switching over to windows to run my server, so I tested it out on my regular PC, and I am absolutely blown away by how amazing it is, it's everything I've ever wanted out of a server manager software, and I cannot recommend it enough

Version: Version 3.1.F5
This is an amazing server panel, I highly recommend this for anyone who wants a simple server panel but doesn't want to spend too much time setting one up.
