CMI is just filled with bugs, and most of them aren’t even hard to find. Like, why is it my responsibility to create 100 GitHub issues? Just use your own plugin—you’ll find so many problems. It’s like you’re not even doing any testing whatsoever.

Bad support, I ask same thing three or more time and I don’t receive response. I love CMI but I am thinking to migrate to another plugin if this is support!!

This plugin singlehandedly removes all bloat from your server. Never again will you need to download random single purpose plugins. Any functionality that you can imagine this plugin has it all in one place.

My only complaint is that the author pushes an update for this plugin about twice a day. This would normally be a good sign of healthy development, but it has proven to be super annoying in the long run as it spams chat whenever plugin is even slightly out of date.

There was a time I downloaded an update and by the time the server restarted there was already a new update out. Me and my devs got a good laugh out of it, but I strongly suggest that the developer push one big update a week instead of 12 small ones.

Used to be quality plugin but now every update breaks things and instead of fixing old bugs/issues dev tries to add new features which aren't even needed...

With latest update homes are buggy and when teleporting to homes direction is random and weird, homes never had issues for past few years and all of sudden dev decided to change something out of blue...

Reporting these issues on github does nothing, As jobs plugin has issue I reported, Well nvm no point telling anything anyway as dev doesn't even care anymore...

Good Plugin, always get an updates and a bit of an improvements also i'm starting to seeing new things such as Sit Feature, Hologram Paginated and many more.

Way to many useless features and also this plugin is a mediocre, and not all features that is "Costumizable", you cannot edit the GUIs of /kit /gamerule /home etc..., this plugin itself also has 0 explanations when it comes to it's settings file, on what features that does something.. it needs lots of more improvements w/the features that CMI has to offer, when it comes to "One of the best CORE PLUGIN", you have to think over it's "QUALITY", rather than "QUANTITY", of the features you offered.

Quality:
(★××××) • Way to worst, too many complex and useless features that is not necessarily needed for a Minecraft Server. (ONLY IF YOU WERE OPENING AN SMP SERVER THEN THIS IS THE ONE.)

Well done for correcting the verification of permissions to bypass safe teleportation. But you still haven't added a check to see if the player has the "cmi.safeteleport" permission because of this, every teleportation is considered safe. Please fix this, it has been reported many times.

For several months now, I and other users have been reporting a problem with secure teleportation to your discord server. It cannot be disabled. I grant all permissions to disable secure teleportation, but it still asks for confirmation.

Been using CMI for quite some time now (5+ years WOOO). I've only ever had maybe one or two issues with it and they either got fixed before I could message the author or they fixed it really quickly after I told the author. Also, I saw a lot of messages saying that the support is not good, but I have never had any issues with the support for the plugin.

Plugin devs also have lives they live and jobs they need to prioritize over MC plugins. So, it makes sense.

All in all, good plugin. Well done, Zrips!

The plugin is absolutely fantastic and I have praised it in the past. However the admin "Floris" is so chronically online that if you even give a hint of disobeyment to him and his passive aggressiveness then he just kicks you or will ban you from the discord.

I don't understand and never have after using this plugin why this person is actually an admin in the SUPPORT when I just got kicked for the reason of "converse normal or dont" by responding to him with the word "okies babes".

I'll change my review when he is removed from support because there clearly needs to be an overhauling that department via the discord. More of the fact that others in the review section have also complained about the same person. Can provide proof of being kicked and the reason for so if needed.

Team #Zrips! 30+ plugins in one is why I use this over Essentials! You really need to dig through the wiki and configs, but when you do, you get a powerful setup!

Good plugin, but in the support discord they are very aggressive and more because of a guy called Floris, I have seen how he bans people on the discord for asking for support. That's why I don't send messages there. The owner doesn't pay attention to the users and the staff is aggressive but other than that it's a good plugin

Fantastic plugin from a fantastic developer. It's a massive plugin but I can disable the modules I don't use.

Probably the best plug-in. It's a "core plugin" that allows you realize some ideas that aren't possible in other plug-ins. Also if you don't need a feature you can disable it in the modules, that helps to save RAM

This plugin is definitely in the top 5 ever made, Every server should have this. My favourite command is /mirror but theres so many other great things to list. If youre thinking about getting this then take my word, you wont regret it.

I really like this plugin and it's necessary for a server, it has literally everything, but... haha as an idea for a future update, I would like them to add an item that sets a price to teleport to /editwarp, so be it easier to put it on an npc, bless :).

Lo genial es el comando /checkcommand, bastante útil si andas aprendiendo a usarlo.

En cuanto a como está la configuración por dentro, trae varios ejemplos según si lo necesita y está bien documentado, en cuanto a los errores los suelen solucionar en el transcurso de las semanas, no todas las correcciones se ponen en el registro de cambios, pero sí son corregidas.

If I could buy only one premium plugin, this without a doubt would be it. This plugin impressed me so much that this is my first review of a plugin to write about. Hands down the best investment I have made so far. This plugin flawlessly replaced 10 of my current plugins and actually operated their tasks better. It has so many features I continue to discover.

I have used EssentialsX for a while now. I was very hesitant to move to another plugin especially a premium plugin. However it is full of features that really make the experience awesome. Its a shame that, with the version that goes on the proxy they can't do network wide message control or network wide balances based on a config option.

The fact I have had to go elsewhere for these 2 features (which I thought would be included in a plugin like this) is the reason I have given 4 starts and not 5.

Solid plugin, very easy to use. If you use another plugin to handle messages across all proxy servers make sure to disable hover messages otherwise you get 2 chat messages

CMI is basically Essentials on steroids! We've managed to remove 7 seperate plugins and replace them with CMI. It's truly powerful and adds another level of customisation.

In an attempt to get assistance for my straightforward question, I asked it once more and received a response from an admin with a rather sassy attitude, who showed no genuine effort to assist me. As my frustration mounted, I was unexpectedly banned, even though I had not engaged in any inappropriate behavior. I've been a loyal customer for two years and truly value this plugin, as I'm eager to stay updated. It's disheartening to be treated this way, and I'm more than willing to reconsider my rating and provide a 5-star review if I am reinstated and receive the proper support that I initially sought and deserve.

Stay away from CMI. It is crippled with issues that allow players to backdoor your entire dedicated server.

CMI is fantastic. It's super easy to use, packs a ton of power for server management, and the support on their Discord is top-notch. If you want a hassle-free, feature-rich plugin, CMI is the way to go.

This plugin is amazing, my server is 100% reliant on it due to it being an all-in-one package. I wouldn't trade it for anything else. However for a premium plugin, the support is nearly non-existent, it's miserable considering the plugin is so complex so naturally many questions and issues arise when using it, if you're lucky 1 out of every 5 questions you ask in their discord chat gets answered and if they do they give you a short response and they might not even have a solution to your problem. Lucky for me I'm somewhat intuitive so I eventually figure it out myself but if that's the case why am I paying $15 when competing plugins are free with excellent support? If they ever change their method for dealing with support, maybe adding tickets, I wouldn't hesitate to give this 5 stars

At last I found, which plugin keeps opened "world\playerdata" files and prevent to save server - user files. These files is not yours, why you make problems? omg... and there is no config to disable this shameful action... "Failed to execute rename", "Failed to create backup".

!ATENTION! big problem in CMI(9.6.9.3) with CMIlib(1.4.4.2) plugin on Paper 1.20.4(#361), try with your plugin only(all other plugins was removed) - 100% problem. WHEN player disconnecting, he cant be saved in "\world\playerdata" file.

In my opinion it's a whole lot better than EssentialsX. Now you can argue over the price but I think it is really worth buying. You could get more for $15. Still though for me it's worth it!

Haven't run a server for a couple of years, and coming back to this plugin it's great to see some nice changes in the right direction. When we first used CMI it literally removed 5+ plugins as this does the job of all!

I've had CMI for well over a year now and I've never felt regret about making this purchase. I was able to remove at least 5 (maybe more, I can't remember) plugins after I got CMI because it really does *a ton* of stuff. Developer(s) are incredibly responsive and helpful. Not once did anyone give me any attitude for asking questions or get help for something. They've never immediately responded with "well check your other plugins first, it ain't my problem". You can tell they give a crap. This plugin is updated frequently with actual bug fixes and new features, they listen to their community. Out of all the plugins I've ever bought, CMI *by far* is absolutely the one that's worth every cent, without a doubt. Highly recommended.

I don't know why so many other users are having problems. I did have some problems with it before 9.3.1.0, but those have since been resolved.

I have been using CMI on multiple servers, multiple networks, and even sometimes with modded setups (it works with mohist btw :) ). I have used the plugin for well over 3 years and I haven't looked back. I actually have "converted" a few people to users of this plugin who have bought it and are happy.

I will say, support is a bit... non existent. But it is obvious the author cares about this plugin and wants it to work for everyone. This is seen by the last few updates which have been posted (like 5 updates in 3 days).

Also, this plugin updates A LOT! So, despite the support issues, it is totally and definitely worth it.

I have been using CMI for 2 years now, and it is one of those unreplaceable plugins, I removed it for an hour for bug testing purposes, and it made the bug testing I was doing so much harder, like giving myself items or changing game modes fast, heck, even not being able to do /workbench to test a custom crafting recipe got on my nerves. CMI is a great plugin, and the amount of features that comes with it is insane.

The reason this is 4 stars because of the developer and the amount of bugs this plugin comes with. I understand that everyone is human, and burnout is a thing, but this is a paid plugin, the dev needs to fix the bugs right as they come out, not procrastinate fixing them, Zrips also has a super long response time on GitHub too. You can always just ask the discord server help channel too, but sometimes for large file errors or something the community doesn't know, you're going to end up with, ask on GitHub.

So, if CMI gets its bugs fixed and a more active dev, or perhaps another dev to help Zrips with this amazing plugin, but if you're looking for 20 plugins + Essentials alternative that is very well optimized, buy this plugin it's well worth it!

When I first bought this plugin, I was extremely skeptical of how a plugin offering to do, well, pretty much everything wouldn't cause an insane amount of lag to my server or be insanely inefficient / poorly written. Not only is it made well, it's actually pretty amazing!

With the plugin, I've found it's eliminated my need for several others. I no longer need Essentials, Holograms, Portals, Warps & Teleporting, Silk Spawners, Money management systems, Chatting systems, Custom commands, Rules systems, or even some donator perks.

While it offers a ton, I've found a decent need for almost everything. This may not be everyone's case - if you have a wide range of plugins that you'd like to condense and want a good, fast, and reliable alternative, I honestly recommend you to spend the money for this. It's well-written, fast, pretty easy to work with, and I am still finding things that this plugin can do.

I genuinely dislike this plugin's reloadability/fixability.
I have to restart whole server every damn time I chane something, because CMI just does not reload config values no matter what.
I mean, it does, but it does not work even changed. I just have to restart whole thing.
So, Imagine having to do this with tens of players.

Other than that, solid system, painful to work with, has many useful features.
There is no better system on Spigot. But for god's sake.. make this thing actually register that something changed.

I have used Essentials/EssentialsX primarily for the last 10 years, I always told myself I would NEVER pay for a plugin, im a firm believer in everything should be open source, including plugins, mods, and other code that I write, this plugin changed my view ENTIRELY. This is a plugin that blows every other plugin out of the water when it comes to server management. I would highly suggest purchasing this plugin, It is worth 10 times what it is being sold for.

CMI is an absolutely incredible plugin. The support is amazing and serious issues are fixed quickly. I once had an issue that was fixed within half an hour. Zrips puts so much love into CMI, and thanks to him, my server and many other servers have a nice, flexible and all-in-one solution.

I have been using CMI for over 2 years now (Sorry Zrips and Floris just noticed I never gave you guys 5 stars for your amazing work <3)

CMI is by far the greatest plugin out there. I have never seen another plugin that has as many features, customization, and compatibility as CMI does. CMI also has some of the best documentation out there, and not only is it on the website but most things can be found in game using CMI's built in /cmi checkcommand or /cmi checkpermission commands so you never have to tab out of game to find that permission node you was needing to add.

While you will hardly ever need support thanks to the documentation and simplistic nature of CMI, when you do need it it's unmatched in response times and explanations.

To be honest when I first used the plugin, I felt like it was too bloated for a plugin until I learned to use its usermeta, interactive commands, and specialized commands. It changed my perspective for the plugin, those features are heavily customizable to the point that I can no longer run a server without CMI. This is without a doubt, a perfect essential plugin that an owner should have.

CMI is a staple to running Minecraft servers, it bypasses Essentials and EssentialsX in every way possible. It's performance is astonishing, and features are not lacking. We've been able to avoid having 120+ plugins just with this one, which is 100% worth the small price.

Fantastic plugin, beast of a config file but the alternate is using 50 extra plugins. Regular updates. No major issues.

The plugin is very good if you have a small server, but when you have a network it is not compatible with any bungeecord function and makes the plugin unusable at all.

For anyone looking into a AIO solution, this will fit your needs.

But for anyone looking to do more, expand further, don't get this plugin. The modules configuration doesn't control everything, the config is confusing and long instead of being split in any sensible way. All the features are very "half-measured", they aren't as extensive as many of the dedicated plugins.

Bugs are often, reported constantly but some will take months to fix.

I think it's about time to give my honest thoughts about CMI right now.

The first thing I want to start off with is the configuration. Although the configuration file is quite long, there are comments on nearly every setting, explaining exactly what they do. I would highly recommend setting aside a few hours of free time to have a good read through the entire configuration file. You'll get a lot more out of the plugin by configuring it to your server's needs and reading the comments.

One of my favourite features is how a lot of things in CMI can be done inside of the game, for example creating holograms, editing kits and setting an item's worth. I also love that the option to edit things through the confuguration still remains for those who want it.

The key thing that helped me understand CMI was the documentation. When you first start out using CMI, the documentation is a huge help, as there is plenty of explanations and hints to get started with CMI.

I have seen a lot of comments that CMI is bloated and takes up server resources because of all the features. However, this is where CMI shines. You can disable almost all of its features through the Modules.yml file. Just set the respective value to false and restart the server. CMI will no longer use that feature, and it won't be using up extra server resources.

CMI has over 300 commands, all with different functions. Instead of having to remember long commands, many of CMI's commands offer a slick GUI (graphical user interface) for easy customization.

The last thing I'd like to discuss is the support. Top notch support. Zrips listens to buyers and their suggestions. I had a bug reported to Zrips and he released a fix within 20 minutes of it being reported. Absolutely incredible! Zrips goes above and beyond with his plugins.

In conclusion, CMI has a lot of features, most of which can be disabled. Additionally, it has very fast and friendly support, frequent updates, and more! I would highly recommend buying this plugin. It will really take your server to the next level.

I'd also like to congratulate Zrips for hitting 1000 updates for CMI. Although I haven't been around for the whole journey, there are lots of people who bought CMI back when it used to just be an inventory plugin. But now, it has evolved into so much more than that. Also, I'd like to give a big well done to Zrips for maintaining this massive plugin for all these years, changing so many servers, including mine, and also just being the best developer I have ever met. Keep doing what you are doing Zrips, you are changing so many servers every single day.

Drop essentials: GET CMI!! Literally the best plugin my server has. It offers so so much and the options are almost endless once you understand the plugin a bit. I highly recommend this plugin.

This is the most handy plugin for your server on spigot still. Being able to shut any feature off is a savior on my server, I b ring in to many plugins im testing for this or that and it is the only one able to fix anything bothering another plugin. You never have to remove it, well worth the money.

Love / Hate relationship with CMI. I love CMI cause one plugin replaces many, the downside is, it has tons of issues, many issues are left unfixed for months. Also the CMI-API is unusable, cause you can’t implement it into your maven project, well you can but you have to locally add the jar to your local repositories but that’s extremely dumb, and doesn’t work for me cause GitHub builds my plugin. CMI-API was my last straw that’s what prompted me to make this review.

Extremely good plugin and has a crazy amount of features and customization, honestly the best replacement for essentials and an upgrade to plugins that either are outdated and no longer exists, it gets constant support and is updated often, there sometimes can be issues with things but try to be patient as even though Zrips works fast there is probably a lot on their plate considering how much there is to this plugin

there is a bug that when you change world you can fly and no matter how many times you configure everything, you keep flying, it only happens when you change world and press space bar 2 times... and it hasn't been fixed for 10 patches...

I love this plugin, there are so many features in 1 plugin and the author is posting updates weekly. And the price? It's cheap of the fact that there are too many features in one plugin. From Zrips, you'll always find high-quality plugins.

I don't even know where to start! I used to use EssentialsX as my core plugin, but I have almost completely ditched it after buying this plugin.

First off, the support. Some of the quickest I've seen, and probably the most friendly too! A big shout out to everyone who has helped me using CMI.

Updates are frequent, with new features being added. Bugs are an occasional appearance, but every plugin has them. The difference with CMI compared to other plugins is how quickly they are fixed. Like I said above, the support team is incredible! The same applies to Zrips, the developer of this incredible server management tool. Bugs tend to get fixed extremely quickly.

Another good thing about this plugin is how easy it is to make workarounds to changed features of the plugin, for example, removing the legacy toggle commands and grouping them all into the /cmi options command. Thanks to Floris, with the help of CMI's specialized commands, custom alias and usermeta, the legacy toggle commands were able to be added back! If most plugins change a feature, they most likely wouldn't revert it unless customers began to complain. With CMI, it doesn't even matter! Most features can be reverted using CMI's features.

The other thing I absolutely love about CMI is it's documentation. When I used to use EssentialsX, there was little documentation. CMI is the complete opposite. It provides plenty of documentation to help get you started with it.

The next point is more of a side note. The configuration. This is probably the only slight downside to CMI. It is very jumbled, with some parts of the chat filter in the config.yml, others in the chatFilter.yml file, and the Economy system at the top of the config.yml, while the option to enable the sell logs are somewhere near the middle. I would recommend setting aside a few hours of free time to have a thorough read through the configuration. Just like the documentation, there is plenty of it in the configuration, so once you find the settings you need, all you have to do is a bit of reading, some trial and error, and some knob turning.

A lot of people say that CMI is bloated, and due to all the features, causes server lag. I respectfully disagree. CMI makes it extremely easy to toggle what you do and don't need. Don't need the vanish system? No problem. Just go to the Modules.yml file and set Vanish to false. Restart the server, and CMI no longer handles vanish. It's as simple as that.

Then comes the fun part; the commands and in-game settings. With over 300 different commands, there's bound to be a bit of in-game customization. Lots of CMI's features are GUI-based, making it easy to customize, instead of having to remember long commands. Now, you might ask: "EssentialsX has this feature, what's the point of paying 15 Euro for a plugin that does the same thing?" My counter argument to that is, CMI does it different to EssentialsX. Take this example: You're suspicious of someone having an illegal item, and you want to check their inventory. Sure, you can do this with EssentialsX. But what happens if they log off before you can check their inventory? Bummer. Guess you'll have to wait until they log back on. Wrong! With CMI, you can check their inventory, even if they're offline! With just this example, I think it's clear that although CMI does it differently and is paid, it does it better, which is what you'd expect from a premium plugin, compared to a free plugin.

Now for one of my favourite features; the in-game custom alias editor! CMI makes it extremely easy to create custom commands, and by combining this with specialized commands, you can get some really cool custom commands. And all of this can be done from inside of the game! But don't worry. If you prefer to edit custom commands using a file, CMI's got you covered! Just navigate to the CustomAlias folder and start editing the files! Simple as that!

In conclusion, CMI can replace so many plugins. Time to ditch HolographicDisplays, EssentialsX and about 10 other plugins! CMI's got all those features, packed into one plugin, and done better! Want a new feature added? Just make a new Discussion on GitHub, and it may be added. If you're still using EssentialsX on your server, you're going about it the wrong way. I highly recommend CMI for anyone wanting to push their server to the next level.

This is a very good plug-in, but I have encountered some problems in recent use. Randomteteleport cannot find a safe place on the server with terrafirmacraft installed. It may be because TFC replaces all the original blocks and too many ground products (half bricks).
Secondly, when you use the playerworldpro plug-in, because each player has a separate world, CMI monitors the timespeed of each world, which makes the config file extremely large and bloated. I hope to add an option to turn off the timespeed of monitoring each world

And I found that CMI did not do much work on the resurrection of death, I hope to see death penalty (or execute command after death) in the future, so that I can customize the mechanism after death and resurrection

Please add a switch to timespeed, thank you, otherwise it will add all worlds to config, which is too cumbersome, especially when using plug-ins of player world such as playerworldpro

Incredibly great plugin. After the first day of setting up my server, I realized that thanks to the features that the CMI contains, I threw about 16 plugins from my server that I no longer needed. The more I use CMI, the more features I discover.

Love this plugin over essentials. Only problem I know of is middle-click on warps to edit doesn't work.

This was an excellent purchase. First plugin I have payed for, and it is awesome. It has hundreds of features and commands and I have only used a fraction of it. Its the best replacement to EssentialsX I have found.

It can replace a ton of plugins and features are easy to disable if you are not using one of them.

After using the plugin for the last 3 years had to review it again, It been 99% of the time very good plugin, never had any issues which would make me regret using this plugin. Before this plugin was using 30 diff plugins for diff tasks like RTP, warps, kits, ranks. And IK that popular plugins have those too but without gui etc, idk if they have it now didn't used for long time...

So overall this plugin is worth every penny and more. Would have bought even for $50...

I just had to get this plugin, the reviews were amazing and they were all right, with everything you can do with it, it replaces so many other plugins. This took the load off my server and It became my favorite. Zrips keeps adding new functions and keep it up to date.

How to fix

This plugin is really amazing, i have it on all my servers now ! Wiki is really complete. Perfect.

Best plugin! I used it on every server and on every project. You can do everything with it!

Using the %cmi_worth_buy_[itemIdName]% or %cmi_worth_sell_[itemIdName]% placeholder returns the answer with a "$" which does not allow the %math_<math expression>% placeholder to work.
If you removed that $ it would be much better and even more so if you could put other symbols like €.

If you're looking for a premium Essentials-like plugin. This is only one you need to look at. However its also a top class holograms, Bungee-portal and Custom command's plugin to name a fraction of its features. All without causing a lagfest!
The only issue is the whopping (sometimes frustrating to the point of -1★) config, but boy is it configurable.

Starting to feel this is a must have plugin on most setups, just makes things a lot easier.
Learning curve can be a little hard at first as config is huge, but once know where settings are, what they do, and if using wiki, then should be all plain sailing,

The Home function does not work properly when cross-server, so that the set Home is cleared when the sub-server restarts

As somebody who has been using CMI for a little under a year now, It is time to write a review on it.

As soon as I got this plugin, I loved it. I didn't even need Essentials anymore! Nor did I need HD, Itemedit, The RTP plugin I used, TAB and Multiverse Portals. I need CMI for my current server, Without it I couldn't even make what I'm trying to make right now.

Not to mention, how in-depth and helpful the wiki is, the almost 300 commands.

Also, the support is amazing. Discord and GitHub, Zrips is happy to help on github for more complex issues and the nice community and Admins help out a lot in the discord with response times coming in a minute or less. Really just a great plugin that is worth much more than 20 Euros.

This is an amazing plugin without which I don't think the server can work! The only problem is the RAM that consumes the CMI (They are very large amounts)

It is suggested to add the capability of velocity agent to CMI bungee, which seems to have no effect on velocity

Totally worth buying! Super useful for any type of server (survival,minigames,etc.). Replaces a bunch of plugins, this was my best buy :)

Best plugin I've bought on Spigotmc. Great value for money, good support, does everything you'd expect and more. I've been using this for my last couple of worlds and it's just exceptional.

Where to start,

Don't get me wrong, I am a massive fan of using CMI, there is so much you can do on there. everything you could pretty much do is possible.
I am using CMI on all my servers.

BUT... for someone who hates reading..... there is so much config/local_EN etc. a good 2000 lines on one of the config pages.

however. There is always support going in the discord, great people to ask for help to such as the community.

always keeps the plugin up to date asap. not even a day after 1.18 was released and boom CMI complete.

At the beginning when I bought CMI about a year ago, it was good, but lately with each new update, bugs are added, it's quite unbearable I'm thinking about the transition from CMI back to essentials, overall bugs are not fixed much and I'm really tired of it.

Zrips is crushing it with 1.18.1 I mean what was it a 1 day wait for a flawless release? I love CMI and I use it on all 12 of my servers.

I had a headache, I looked at the configuration for several hours, the config was too bloated, I completely did not know which module corresponds to the permission, I forgot the permission details, but some switch modules are not consistent with config, the YUL syntax in config is too bad, classification is not clear, the head is big
Thousands of lines of configuration files, if not a week or so, it's really a waste of time ,I wish the author had done a good job of mapping the config file to the contents of the module ,Keep watching and hope he gets better

Really awesome version of Essentials, considering how EssentialsX is very hesitant to new features and additions.
It has got a lot of things you would have to get from multiple plugins normally, this to me is a huge plus, but for some others, maybe bloated due to the amount of different features crammed into one plugin.

But this does come with some caveats. Configuration is honestly a nightmare, things are all over the place. I would really love to see an hoverhaul of the configs. The translations are difficult to deal with due to half of it being in CMILib, other half being in CMI.
Things are splitted up into modules, but the modules aren't very well organised, some AntiSpam/Chatfilter settings are in config.yml, but then you would have to go into chatfilter.yml for some of them. The default prompts for command usage is also somewhat of a pain. As it displays all the args, even ones that is only available to OP. This could cause confusion, and require your time to go manually into the translation file (which i have mentioned is a nightmare) and change it.

There are also little inconsistencies here and there. Some default features aren't clear, for my example: Kit Newbie. I thought it was a message in the translation files, even some of the helper on Discord thought so as well. But turns out it is a custom command sending the message. While this adds more customizations, it should be made more clear.

One thing I do want to mention as well, is CMI is quite prone to be bugged. Which is understandable for a plugin of this scale, with from what I know, is one developer. Thankfully bugs to tend to be fixed, tho there are lots of them, and some occasionally come back despite being fixed in the older versions.

But overall, I still really enjoy the plugin. It has got a lot of things you could combine with each other to create things that sometimes require an extra 2-3 plugins. CMI got it all, and its constantly updated.

It has been some time since I last reviewed a version of CMI and I think it's about time to give my latest thoughts.

CMI is basically a bigger, more evolved version of essentials. Except that CMI is so far advanced that it's really hard to even make that comparison anymore as essentials has just stagnated.

The amount of features that CMI offers is nothing short of incredible. Updates are frequent, and the dev is always adding new things. CMI's wide berth of features and constant growth is its greatest strength. That being said, it is also its greatest weakness. Because the plugin seems to be moving at warp speed, there are often quite a few bugs being introduced. Most get fixed quickly, but there have been a few times where a really annoying bug breaks a feature that I use and I have had to wait a long time (an entire year in one case) before the dev gets around to fixing it.

Also, my next point is not really a negative, but more of an FYI. This plugin's configuration is quite involved and I highly recommend you set aside 3-4 hours of time to go through the entire config from top to bottom to fully understand the defaults and turn the specific knobs as needed for your individual server. If you do not do this, you will likely run into conflicts with other plugins and unexpected behavior.

Which brings me to my next point. The documentation for this plugin is actually pretty good, and it is maintained and generally up to date. Make sure you read it! The vast majority of issues/questions I see brought up about this plugin are easily answered by simply reading the documentation.

And that bring me to yet another point. The support for this plugin is slim to none. You can ask in the discord, and if you are lucky, a handy user will answer your question, but getting the dev to respond is not usually an option. I am not blaming the dev for this, as the amount of questions and issues brought up are just far too many for a staff of 10+ people to answer, let alone a single person. Do yourself a favor, read the documentation before asking. If you find what you think is a bug, use the github to report it, but don't expect a quick response.

Overall, this is my go to plugin for general server management and commands. I've used just about everything out there, and while this plugin certainly has its issues, it's currently the one I would recommend.

Bought this on a whim but I'm extremely happy with it. It's completely replaced EssentialsX in every aspect and offers much more. Members in the Zrips Discord channel have been extremely quick and helpful with answering my questions.

Very nice plugin, 10/10. Easily replaces other plugins. Had almost no problems with it in the past, and when i did have some, author xiced them within few days.

Best premium plugin out there. No comparison. It's one of those plugins that does everything well. Sometimes you encounter a situation which you normally dont encounter, like for example a player has an item with an insane nbt tag in their inv and they cant log on. Normal essentials doesnt let you /clear offline players. This plugin does.

It's just an example but it illustrates how well thought out the plugin is. Every small command it does, it does well. /inv, /tpa, /ec all these are commands already in essentials yet somehow they manage to make it more useful and rich. It does so many things that I'm impressed, plus the dev is active. It's just a 10/10, absolutely no complains whatsoever

The developer should increase the price of this plugin. This is an underpriced plugin.

I liked this plugin at first but it has gotten so annoying. There's tons of bugs and the plugin updates like everyday it feels like. That's literally so annoying due to fact that every time you join your server it says that a new CMI version is out. Like I wish this plugin had like an auto update feature because updating this plugin so dang often is just irritating

Came back to minecraft server ownership after a long time and was so happy to see that CMI has been updated and continued since my absence. Despite some sour reviews from others this is literally the most useful and cool "single" plugin you could want! Generally works great.

This plugin will destroy your server with over 298 bugs. A bug that causes players to become GOD on their own. hahaha! Unnecessary features cause server lag.
I've been using it for over a year and I can't take it anymore. Developers don't do enough testing. This plugin is not recommended by the paper community.
You should go eat a steak right now if you are wondering whether to buy this plugin.

Whenever I am looking at new plugins I think they are great and useful UNTIL I look into CMI and see that you can do the same thing with that.

You can really clean up your plugins with this plugin. I was looking for an "Daily Reward" plugin but I saw CMI got it.

I was looking for a "TAB" plugin but again CMI got it.

I was thinking about getting "GSIT" plugin but CMI also got that.

In regards to 1.17 we've reached out to a variety of developers of which many have ignored us, and it still surprises me that Zrips has been able to get a feature rich plugin like CMI updated working just a few days after Spigot's 1.17 release. We can now move forward with our server update-tests while we wait for all those other developers to wake up to 1.17.

A plugin that is basically Essentials, but on crack.

This plugin is really it if you're trying to go for something more premium rather than the basic Essentials plugin. This plugin has everything you need when it comes to customizing and building up your server. From holograms to taking care of join messages to even creating custom events, this plugin is powerful.

You really need this plugin if you're trying to get somewhere far with your Minecraft server, a regular Essentials plugin will you get you nowhere since most of its features would require even more plugins installed on your server.

Full of bugs, last version of plugin basically crashes server, think before buying it...

We have pretty bad experience with this plugin, it's basically crashes our server on first AD-Days (PAID), we must wait till dev gonna somehow up and do something (That's okay, we are waiting over 2 days with periodic server crashes). But support is kidded us, we thought it's our issue, but as said `gecko10000#7137` we are using outdated version (1.12.2 Paper) (Screenshots from support server https://imgur.com/a/C8kHp57) (Gituhub issue: https://github.com/Zrips/CMI/issues/5664)

As we can see it's pretty common issue for spigot dev's, but in our situation we have crashes.

I do not hope for anything, I just advise you to think before buying.

This plugin is great. It has all the features I need. To my server I only had to add this, in addition to a few other plugins like FeatherBoard and LuckPerms. It has a huge config, it took me a whole morning to configure it, and this is not a defect, but an advantage! It is fully customizable! Best buy I've ever made on a plugin!

P.S Who has to buy it, don't just look at the features described on the page, because there are many others, buy it.

Dev does not read these reviews, so no point really even in writing them. If you want a bug fixed or a feature added, you are in a world of hurt. Took me a year of complaining to get a small syntax error fixed.

I have been transitioning from Essentials to CMI for about 6 months now. I initially wasn't sure that this plugin was within my capabilities. After 6 months of using this plugin, i realized there is no other plugin like this. Its like Essentials but better, and every little part of it can be customized to your EXACT liking. ZRips is a superb developer and is on top of any suggestion or problem you may have. There's very few issues with this plugin, and it can be used for online servers and offline servers, without malfunctions. Out of the 75+ plugins i have bought in all genres CMI is by far the coolest. I give this plugin 5 stars

This was advertised to easily import data from essentials. I bought it and tried to import my towny data from essentials and it didn't transfer, all the towns on my server have 0 balance and faced issues... how is it that the dev didn't think of towny which is a plugin that thousands of people use? I looked in Github for the issue before I report it to avoid repeating and wasting the devs time but apparently, it was reported in December of LAST YEAR, and the issue was completely ignored...

The cream of the crop. An absolute must-have. Tremendous value. Well maintained. Intuitive to configure. Incredibly rich with features and versatility. The single best premium purchase plugin decision I made for my new server. If you're reading this - you need this.

Solid plugin, with plenty o features, and tons of customizability, when you think you've done it all, you can add Custom Alias' event commands, portals, attached commands. Tons of features that can replace many, if not most other plugins.

Plugin is fantastic. Really well put together and the developer has done an outstanding job. The support team on the Discord have let it down a bit as they tend to be rude to customers and have a policy where they only help who they wish to as it was stated to myself.

Hands down the best plugin for any new server especially in 1.16.5 like mine is, And it truly replaces essentials, holograms, portals, tablist, playtime (as well as the plugin where you earn ranks based off playtime) & many other plugins quite efficiently and well. My only complaint is tablist doesn't have option to organize by group weight. But everything else about this plugin is near flawless. Also is a /colorpicker feature which is sweeeeeeeet for finding hex codes to use for easy use of making fading nicknames in game etc.

It's alright I guess. Single-purpose plugins are way better and customizable than this multi-purpose plugin. It's pretty good for starters but soon as you know/owned multiple plugins, CMI seems to be a bit underwhelming for what I need.

Still, I'll give you credits with this work. It's good but not for me. Who knows, I might give this a chance one day but for now, it's kind of a bloatware for me to use comfortably.

Incredible plugin, I waited a while before reviewing it. I switched from Essentials COMPLETELY. This plugin has been nothing but awesome, the more I learn about it the more things I discover I can do. I thought it would be heavy and bloaty but it wasn't. Has better timings than EssentialsX, the features you get and the plugins it replaces are amazing. This could cost 30 and I would still buy it. I don't see my self running a server without it anymore.

I could not give this plugin enough praise. I could not imagine running a server without it. It's worth every cent you pay for it (if not a LOT more). The developer is always releasing updates and bug fixes. Great support discord. Everything is super simple and easy to use and creates a very high quality user experience. Get this plugin - you WILL NOT regret it.

- The customization of this plugin is outstanding, the alias system alone has allowed me to make outstanding features within my server from a full custom plugin essentially.

- The support is fantastic I have never faulted the support within their discord or on their github.

- The pure functionality of the plugin is fantastic and the updates (I cannot keep up with the updates with this plugin it's scary).


I find myself writing my first review on spigot because honestly it's well deserved. I constantly find plugins getting removed from my server because "cmi can do it" and it's not only improving the overall performance of my server but the atmosphere. I find myself worrying less and less about newer versions because I know that cmi will be updated and fully functional.

Top tear plugin, tons of costumization, and does what it says it does. And if you start to utilize Alias' it gets proper solid.

Transitioned from EssentialsX to CMI and it was a learning process but definitely worked out good. Everything got imported over and works. I just wish the Modules.yml had better documentation and explained what each module actually did/affects/changes in more detail. Also wish Elevators weren't so complex, like SimpleElevators. Other than that it's an awesome plugin and I don't miss Essentials at all!

Plugin is fantastic, I wish I could buy it twice. I've used it for every server I've worked on, and recommended it to many others. The constant updates are by far the best feature of this plugin!

A must for every Minecraft server. Replaces Essentials completely and offers a lot of extra features and that even more comfortable to work with as few commands as possible. The author works almost daily on the plugin and reacts exemplary in case of errors. You do not do anything wrong with a purchase!

Must have plugin. Whenever i have issues I report them to the dev and they are usually fixed within an hour and then posted to spigot within 2 days. The amount of features that i got for my server for only $15 is insane. This plugin is easily worth 10x the amount I purchased it for and with free updates for life, who could complain. Migrating to CMI from essentials was the best thing I ever did. Thank you Zrips <3

I like CMI don't get me wrong, but the amount of bugs that constantly occur while using this plugin is just horrible, and when reporting something you just don't get any answer, or it's like "report it on GitHub" which will take another few weeks for it to be finally fixed.

Personally I wouldn't recommend using this plugin because of the before mentioned reasons, the plugin essentials do have fewer features but at least it functions normally compared to CMI.

I have been running servers almost continuously since 2013 and am really very cautious about reviews of premium and plugins in general. For me, CMI is one of the best well thought-out plugins worth buying! you can tell the love for the details, i don't want to give it up anymore. so as not to just rave about it, there are things here and there that I personally miss, such as the ability to create your own commands: / vote / discord etc. very well spent money! thanks to the dev, very good job! :-)

I always had the doubt of replacing essentials with CMI but when I did it I realized that it is the best I could do, this plugin is worth every $ it costs.

It was super easy to transfer all the essentials data to CMI, it has a ton of useful stuff, it has very good support on discord (via github). It does not affect your TPS, you have a large amount of information/useful commands and what I liked the most that when using this plugin I had to delete another 10 because this one is all in one:))

I haven't had this long, but it's already become one of my "cannot survive without" plugins. The aliaseditor alone is worth absolutely any additional configuration simply to have at the ready, I was quickly able to remedy so many tiny little issues using only that. It's inclusion of nearly every command from Essentials accepting arguments where Essentials commands did not has allowed for some excellent additions to my server. We already loved the Jobs plugin and used it excessively, after using this for a day, I decided to replace my old worldeditvisualization plugin with their SelectionVisualizer plugin which seems to be far less laggy and works in many more ways. I highly recommend this and all of ZRIPZ plugins!

I've used this plugin now for a few months and so far have had no issues. This does a lot more than all of the plugins this has replaced and there are still loads of features I don't use.

This is one of the best plugins on Spigot for the price you have to pay. However, one thing I do notice is that it is a big plugin with lots of people using it. This means Xrips is a bit overworked for maintaining such a big plugin and lots of bug reports don't get fixed.

However, most of the time, you won't encounter any bugs and everything will work. Great plugin :)

Good plugin when the things its intended to do work. I have posted bug reports before and they fix them without telling you and then tell you its you thats the issue. Discord support is terrible, they have members they protect and let them argue with you over nonsense. I will never post a bug report again. But this is a good plugin if your looking for a replacement for like 15 things.

Yes, support can be a little slow, the wiki could use some work and it has the occasional bug. However, if you just take the time to go through the plugin's configs, it really isn't that hard to get the most out of it.

The sheer depth of this plugin makes up for any small issues.

It has so many features, many of which it does better than standalone plugins. Every feature can be enabled/disabled depending on what you require.

Good plugin. My ranks literally use EVERY permission this plugin has to offer. There are a few bugs here and there. Most of the Github is riddled with nonsense. When The permissions for repairing, keepxp, and shift editing signs get fixed i will udpate to 5 stars.

If Essentials is a TV dinner you throw in the microwave, CMI is the whole kitchen. It will take a bit more work to make a meal, but the end result will be much more satisfying.

Props to the creator for having an entire web page and wiki to show you how to use each part of this amazing assortment of tools. Shows the difference in what you can expect out of free and premium plugins.

A great plugin for its price overall - it has a lot of things in a single packet. Makes your server highly customizable, as long as you have the time to customize it.

But apparently, due to what it seems to be a single-person developed plugin, and a huge plugin on its own - a lot of bugs are laying around untouched.

It doesn't render the plugin unusable, but still, bugs are bugs, and it's annoying to deal with as you have to either find workarounds, or not use that feature at all.

Its good, has a bunch of nice features but just in general it looks like a mess. The configs are just a bunch of cluttered files and the content in it is even more confusing. Its going to take you a while to fully set this up.

But you know after all that does what it says. My personal experience with this was really bad however.

One of the best (and biggest) Plugin available on Spigot. It is a good example how a premiumressource should be.

cmi mirrors has a bug
Conflict with Resident and quickshop plug-in. The mirrors function will push the block into the territory of others, and will replace the block that originally exists in that position. If the player uses quickshop to put the store on the ground, it will be pushed directly and dropped into the store s things

CMI is a good plugin, if you are ready to spent the time setting it up. While many components of the plugin work great and as expected, it has so many components to the point where the plugin (especially the config) is kinda hard to navigate. And while I don't regret the purchase, I don't use CMI. But if you are ready to invest the time into setting up and using CMI, it's worth it.

Absolutely fantastic and well worth the money. CMI gives you a ton of powerful tools that really make your server professional. Using the mirror building feature (and world edit) I was able to build a fairly large area in a day.
There are other features I'll have to update this review for. There are so many I frequently forget what exactly I can do with CMI.

Works more than great! My only complaint is that the mirror feature does not support block data such as playerheads, and when using things like logs or pillars, it points them all in the same direction instead of the relative direction they were placed in! Well worth the purchase either way though!

Doesn't fail to dissapoint, Although on my creative server the spawn dissapears constantly so players cannot do /spawn same with the warp i made for /warp spawn. Not sure if that is a glitch on my server or the plugin but ye. Strange but hasn't concerned me much since my server isn't out of development.

It´s basically Essentials... Just 100 times better. I really LOVE this plugin, and the support is awesome. (by the way shoutout to floris#0233 on Discord, and many thanks for all your help with my CMI problems) Now onto the features. What I love the most is the "Aliaseditor" which allows for custom commands. Right after that is the "KitEditor" which as the name suggests let´s you add items to a Kit in a neat GUI. But it has many other features too. In fact so many that it would be impossible to list them all in this review. 11/10 would buy again.

If you're looking to start a professional server buy CMI! Seriously, don't run a server with 100 daily players on it off essentials, I don't mean to say anything bad about essentials, it's just that it's missing a lot of the quality you can get that is in this plugin, it's amazing, very configurable and efficient! it can fix a lot of issues essentials cant, it has features essentials don't have and I'm glad that I bought this!

Amazing plugin. Very minor footprint and won't impact server performance. CONSTANTLY updated and you can outright disable sections of the plugin you aren't using to increase performance further.

Good plugin but support for it is non existent and there's too much extra shit that should be in separate plugins, not in a 'central management' plugin.

All the unnecessary features coupled with the lack for support makes it a difficult plugin to begin with.

There are a lot of variations of each aspect of this plugin and most do it better than CMI. I would suggest just using EssentialsX and finding specific plugins for extra features.

Switched from essentialsX due to some performance issues, haven't looked back. Incredibly easy to use.

The plugin is constantly breaking. The dev makes swaths of changes frequently to add things and then breaks more things. Features are prioritized over fixing bugs, in an effort of selling more copies I suppose. Bug reports will sit in the github tracker for months, never to be even recognized by the dev and then forgotten (not little bugs either, major issues). As others have advised, the discord is basically useless, there is no help there other than from other users.

Do not reward bad development! This plugin is expensive from the perspective of premium plugins,

You're looking at a dev with a large plugin who ALSO has other large plugins, yes support will be a bit slow.

Back to the plugin,

It works amazing. There are bugs, but you just need to pay attention. You will figure out what works for you in the plugin and what doesn't.

It's a great way to cut down a lot of plugins, but don't expect to use literally every feature in CMI. Most server "owners" don't really take the time to read through and understand what they are doing in this plugin. I can pretty much eyeball features and figure out if I need them and if I do I can pretty much just brainstorm what issues to expect with my setup.

I've been using this plugin since 1.12 and I have never once thought about removing it.

Allowed me to replace about 5 plugins with just CMI. Tons of useful features, but like many others say support is not up to par. But you can get it to work with a bit of time, effort, trail and error on an offline server.

PROS
- Lots of different features you can't find elsewhere
- Custom Text is like EssentialsX's info.txt but way more intuitive and organized.
- Holograms are clickable, can contain pages, and are easy to set up.
- Armor stand editor
- TONS more

CONS
- BLOATED AF!!
- Many features do not work and have not worked properly for months.
- Support is TRASH, finally got a reply in March to a huge bug issue I PM'd Zrips about in December. Only got a reply because I messaged again to confirm that it happened a second time.

SUGGESTIONS
- Strip out a lot of features and create separate plugins for them to allow for better management of CMI.
- GET HELP! Zrips is the only dev working on one of the biggest plugins on Spigot. Recruit some people to help and give us the support we expect for a paid resource.

Long explanation:
The plugin offers many features and functionalities, but lacks a lot in terms of support, which I think is also a major part of the plugin.

It claims to "[...] fully replace Essentials/EssentialsX [...]" yet the support for it straight up sucks.
You have to wait days if not even weeks for an actual answer to a more complicated question (which a member of the community might not be able to answer)

For me is providing support for a plugin an essential part for it. Especially for one that Spigot thinks is good enough to be a premium resource.
When I buy a plugin do I expect some kind of support, which doesn't rely on the community for it.

I personally wanted to add support for CMI to one of my plugins, but the documentation for the API only explains how to use it, without giving a link or explanation on how to actually implement the API itself into your project, what you need to look out for (f.e if you need to shade it into your project), etc.
There are two links on Spigot about the API, which either link to an outdated jar file it seems, or a GitHub that hasn't been touched since 2 years.... Do you even want people to support you?

So much about this plugin screams "I want to be the most popular plugin on Spigot" but it fails on so many basic levels that it is sad.

I want to compare it to EssentialsX, even if it is unfair (because EssentialsX is 10 times better in comparison).
On EssentialsX's issue tracker can you currently find 18 issues labeled as bugs (39 if you count the not confirmed ones too).
On CMI do you find 200+ issues labeled as bugs, from which some are almost 2 years old and weren't updated for around 1 year if not even more.
This imo already shows how much Zirps cares about keeping stuff updated.

I suggested it in my last review and I still suggest it now: Use EssentialsX and other plugins like ArmorStand Tools (for editing armour stands), WarpSystem (for warps and portals), etc.
This plugin isn't worth its money at all, as support (a major part for this plugin) is not given.

The Plugin itself would be great, but sadly the support is basically not existent. Zrips cares a lot about adding features but not about debuging. CMI has right now 800 open issues on Github. Im using CMI/Jobs for over 6 Months by now. Ive ran in so many problems and usually it takes hours of testing and trying out because a feature is either broken and/or the documentation is just bad. If you have a problem your only chance is to have luck and ask in discord and hope that either some other poor soul had this issue before and helps you. if i hadnt integrated cmi so deep into my server i would switch in a second. Same goes for Jobs im waiting for a update for more then 10 days by now. Its done by a different dev then zrips but zrips cant be arsed to push the update. This is something you will face everytime you want to enable add or use something from cmi.

TLDR
The Functions are great its delivering a lot.. but you cant use all of it because many things are buggy or the documentation is really really bad

Using /mailall completely breaks the database. Creates duplicate files for players with different UUIDs and switches homes and nicks from one player to another. This has happened twice now.

I've never received any sort of official support from the devs no matter where I post it, so I guess here will do.

Will be switching to Essentials ASAP and saying goodbye to this bloated broken plugin.

Simply put the best Plugin for handling server management. Seriously it has it all. If only the dev community could access this and use it for a base when working plugins then the Server Owners' life would be so so much easier.

Now keep in mind there are at least 200 commands and a ton of permissions but that is nothing compared to how it will improve your server overall. But wait there's more this plugin adds features found in nearly 50 other plugins making it an all in one. From Portals to Holograms and everything in between. And that is just the beginning.

Okay, so the pros and cons...
Pros: Good God look at all it allows you to do and change. As well as all the control it gives you.
Cons: The Discord is slow in help, so pretty much of this is up to you to learn.

BUT - IT IS WORTH IT!
YES YES YES it is worth it
Trust me, it is worth every penny and then some. And if you had to buy all the features this really gives you, well you might as well plan on dropping around 200 dollars or more.

Side-note check out the other plugins made by Zrips you'll be glad you did.

Ok, where do i even start. This plugin is insane. It's amazing. It's worth every penny you pay to get it. It has so many features that on my server i was able to remove 9-10 other plugins because CMI has the same features built in. The Discord server is super friendly and Zrips is very quick to fix any bugs the community finds. So if you're on the edge about buying this, get it. I promise you won't regret it.

Best plugin on SpigotMc. It has convenient tools for the administrator and useful commands for the player. Replaces most of the old plugins that are needed for servers.
