Keep in mind this plugin was made BEFORE spigot even existed. So some of the features have been replaced natively by Spigot obviously. However those same features are completely optional, as I say time and time again. Keep in mind this plugin supports virtually every Bukkit version

Relatively speaking, Paper/Spigot, while they do provide good things for culling entities, still fail to prevent laggy episodes from occurring. For example, a large buildup of entities, deliberately created by a user to lag the server.

In terms of features increasing lag more then decreasing it. By large this is due to the API becoming more and more inefficient over the years. For example, getting all the chunks in a world can use up to 10ms, which is absolutely insane. Which I don't blame the teams behind these API's, it's just from the internals of the server software changing and them trying to retain outdated API for plugin compatibility.

So going back to the first point, this is why every module is optional. Maybe you're still using 1.7 and need entity culling. Maybe you are using 1.17.5 and want entity farm monitoring to prevent certain lag exploits. Maybe you want a global item removal, rather then per-item removal timers. Or maybe you just want to use many of Clearlag's commands to diagnose your server without needing something like YourKit. To declare a plugin is inadequate based solely on a few of it's optional features is silly.

1 basic feature out of at least 50 others. Maybe try the plugin before you review it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

That's one of hundreds of other features. Clearlag also doesn't even show up in timings. Figure it out

Just put !hasName next to the entity name

There's no issue with removing boats. There was just a bug with isMounted being reversed which was already noted multiple times.

It's a free plugin which functions on all versions of Minecraft and has been maintained for over 9 years.

/lagg gc = For testing purposes ONLY. It'll trigger a full collection, which you do not want if you're trying to just run a smooth server. Generally people will use it to see if memory is leaking, and growing their old generation partition of the heap

The issue has already been noted multiple times. If you bothered to read the discussion you would of seen that this was already being looked into.

I've got an update pending, I just haven't had the time to fully test it. Problem with supporting 1.7->1.16.2 is I have to test it on EVERY VERSION..
