Great plugin, easy to use and customize. I cannot get it to auto open the book upon login - likely due to another plugin loading a resource pack BUT I set my server welcome message to display a message to check /news and I populate the message with the date of my last book update. Using the book to inform players of server news and plugin updates and info. (Using Spigot 1.20.2)

I support this plugin, thank you for it! It turns out to be a long time ago, and I've been looking for it for so long, HAH.

Using books as messages or announcements is a great idea and this plugin works great and works exactly as described.

A very good plugin, but there is a problem,
I don't know why I turned off the option to check for updates automatically in the configuration file(check-update: false),
but it still checks for updates and takes a long time to do so (there should be no problem with the network), what can I do?

After 30 minutes of tormenting how to create new pages on my own, as well as commands for them, I still managed to do it. The plugin is good, I like its work, as well as a simple configuration file, although it was possible to split them into two files, otherwise it was not convenient to scroll down to see what this or that placeholder answers. I like its small size. Also that there is a discord channel of the author in case of support.
The only thing I didn't like was:
You didn't comment out each line in the config, what it does or can do.

There is no way to enable a book only in a specific world.

- Ability to create multible books (example: /book [book])
- Ability to maybe edit a book ingame with a real book? :)

Plugin is really nice is a shame it didn't work with Bedrock players via Geyser but it wasn't made for it anyways.

Works perfectly, I have other plugins using the same API jar file, zero issues along side the other 60+ plugins I'm using, the config can even be reloaded in-game via command after editing the FTP config with the server on to update Booknews without restarting the server, opens Every time without hesitation on login to inform players and provide links like to the server forums & any website; Works Perfectly on my 1.15.2!
I'm definitely appreciative to the creator of this plugin, It's Perfect!
