BlueSudo is a plugin inspired by the Linux sudo system, designed to securely manage critical commands on Minecraft servers.
It replaces the native OP system, offering authentication, detailed logs, and granular control to protect your server from unauthorized access.

How does it work?

• Whiron: /sudo gamemode 1
• Blue Sudo: Enter the password

When you use a sudo command, BlueSudo prompts you to enter your password in a secure GUI, keeping it safe from logs or unauthorized access. The entered password is validated against a bcrypt hash, ensuring maximum security.

• Blue Sudo: Access granted

If the password matches the stored hash, BlueSudo temporarily grants elevated permissions to execute the command. Permissions are then immediately revoked, ensuring secure and controlled server management.

How does this improve server security?
If someone unauthorized gains access to an administrator’s account with OP or wildcard permissions (*), they could destroy everything.
With BlueSudo, they must authenticate with a maximum of 3 attempts before being banned, adding a critical layer of protection to your server.
