IMPORTANT: Delete your old config.yml and let the plugin generate a new one. The config has been updated with new settings for the update checker.

Individual Advancement Criteria Tracking The most requested feature is finally here. You can now see exactly which parts of multi-step advancements you've completed.

Examples:

• A Complete Catalogue - See which cat variants you've tamed
• Adventuring Time - See which biomes you've visited
• A Balanced Diet - See which foods you've eaten
• Two by Two - See which animals you've bred
• Monsters Hunted - See which mobs you've killed
• Smithing with Style - See which armor trims you've crafted

How it works:

• Click any advancement book in the GUI
• Completed criteria show with green checkmarks
• Remaining criteria show with red circles
• Perfect for tracking your progress on complex advancements

Category-Specific Progress When you complete an advancement, you now see progress for that specific category instead of overall progress.

Example:

• Complete "Stone Age" advancement
• Shows: "Story progress: 1/16 (6.3%)"
• Previously showed: "Progress: 1/139 (0.7%)"

This gives you more useful information about which categories you're progressing in.

Hover for Details Hover over the progress message in chat to see:

• The advancement name
• The advancement description

Update Checker The plugin now automatically checks for updates on startup.

• Notifies console when updates are available
• Notifies ops/admins when they join (if outdated)
• Shows development build info for unreleased versions
• Can be disabled in config if desired

Better Criterion Name Formatting Internal criterion names are now formatted much better.

• Before: "Armor Trimmed Silence Armor Trim Smithing Template Smithing Trim"
• After: "Silence Trim"

Names are cleaned up, shortened, and easier to read.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed completed advancements showing remaining criteria
• Fixed criterion names being too long

Installation Notes If updating from 8.11.25.1 or earlier:

1. Stop your server
2. Delete the old config.yml in plugins/AdvancementTracker/
3. Replace the jar file
4. Start your server
5. The new config will be generated automatically

This update makes the plugin significantly more useful for tracking complex advancements.

What's New

Category-Specific Progress When you complete an advancement, instead of showing overall progress, it now shows progress for that specific category.

Example:

• Complete "Stone Age" from the Story category
• Message shows: "Story progress: 1/16 (6.3%)"
• Complete "Ice Bucket Challenge" from the Nether category
• Message shows: "Nether progress: 3/9 (33.3%)"

This gives you more useful information about which categories you're progressing in.

Why This Matters Before: You'd see "Progress: 50/124" but wouldn't know which category you were progressing in. Now: You see exactly which category you're making progress in and can hover to see what you did.
