Updating this response, given the fact that no one else has reported this same issue, along with reviewing the code not being able to delete anything in the way you suggested, it seems you've broken the server and blamed a random plugin you recently installed.

While I wish you luck in fixing your server, I find it quite disrespectful how quickly you've jumped to conclusions and even wrap it up with "it appears to be a plugin issue" with no evidence as to why you believe that. I have nothing to go off so if this was a legit issue I would have no way to fix it.

I am going to look to add it natively to the portals, but atm please use a command portal and any rtp plugin :)

Hey, let me know what you mean with the PVP manager support or what is broken in DM's here or on Discord so I can add it to the list of things to look at. If things are requested enough I will look at adding them. As for the custom messages we are currently working on that.

Hey, I do need to update the guides for beginners, the video that someone made isn't the best so I should probably record one myself guiding new users through making their first portal. Sorry it can get a bit daunting :(

Though for the discord it's typically whoever is on at the time or the community helping so your milage may vary as there are only a few users who typically give support on the discord. though I try to keep up with the chats where possible. This is a free open source plugin so no-one is paid or gets money for supporting others.

If you are the user who dm'ed me the other day about the support, you sent a message a while after I started work at 10:50am, didn't get a response other than someone saying they think they had the same issue then sent me a message saying my support sucks when I hadn't even left the office at 4:41pm. Delayed only works with the native portal event. It was an external pr and probably not named very well.

So the only one that is actually delayed is nether portal blocks.

It does need updating though its all under the plugins.yml file. We need to properly document it on the website.

It's not a permission issue vs nether portals force gui's to close if its the issue I'm thinking of.

I am unsure why this would be the case, after cancelling the block updates it should prevent mc from trying to cause more though I know there are some issues with 1.16 and up with portal blocks for some reason which may be adding to it.

You will have to add the perms via EssentialsX however I would suggest disabling command portals or at least review the perms/op info in the config :D

The older versions should support 1.8 however due to the way the project is set up we can't actively support multiple versions pre 1.13 atm.

If you take a look on curseforge you should be able to filter by supported versions. I believe 0.0.41 was one of the latest off the top of my head.

First off you need to be OP to make portals and secondly, they can all be disabled.

By default, it used to be off but we got far more complaints about users not having it on by default that we swapped it to be the "expected behaviour" for most users.

If you are going to say this happen's it helps if you actually provide an error log.

Based on that description you are not actually using spigot and either an off branch version which isn't supported or Bukkit on its own (which we stopped supporting due to most things just use the spigot API and allow better cross-version support)

Providing little to no info on what versions you are using, just a vague "doesn't work" helps no one.

Just set up a destination to them on the server and make sure the plugin is also on the bungee. If you use both the bungee tag as well as a destination tag it should take you there :)

You add a permission tag while making the portal. Just add "permission:whatever.perm.theyll.need"

I need to clean up the permission file that luckperms uses to register these but as for permission for individual portals that's totally custom to whatever you want to add so they won't show up in luckperms.

For commands you can do @player and it will replace the players name into the command. I avoided @p in case something weird needed to be done

Destinations can however there is a slight issue atm possibly. I can look to add commands also going though I will have to make that wait until I have finished my uni coursework.

Atm you can send commands to the bungee but you are the first to ask for commands on the other server to be executed surprisingly.

If you want to run the command as a player just use command:"command goes here without /"

If you add ! before the command it runs it as op
If you add ^ before the command it runs it with the permission *
If you add # before the command it runs it in the console
If you add % before the command it sends the command to bungee.

I hope this answers any possible questions you may have about commands :)

I believe someone has made a pr fixing some of the timing issues. I when I get a min I will inspect this behaviour further though as they seem to have tested it and the code looks relatively robust I will make a new release.

I've verified today that the last few versions should have worked against 1.15.1 though I have compiled it against the latest libraries now and made some small tweaks.

That screen only shows up when a player is moved between worlds. I can take a look to see if its possible to make the same behaviour happen for long distances within the same world.

Unless I make a bungee plugin to alongside it i cant see a reliable way to communicate between the server so I will take a look and see if there is another way or if i should just make a bungee plugin :)

The config changes was for an older version, I forgot to remove that notice. I added it due to md5 mistaking the code as a backdoor before he apologized for not actually checking the code as he saw it could run commands as op and didnt check as to how or why that code was there.

The checks were added so that only people who wanted it had it and it but more people complained or got confused so I changed the default config so it enables them all now so its less hassle and can be disabled if needed.

The point of this plugin is I feel an open source plugin shouldn't be paid as the basic concept of it isn't that complex. Also it allows others to make addons without the worry that if i stop developing the project they cant update it because if its being used it can be ported by other devs because the open source nature.

Also spigot has a 3 free resource then you can do paid ones policy which is kind of stupid because it makes people upload pointless small resources then not maintaining them if they don't want to do free ones. Advanced Portals started free and will forever continue to be free.

I've moved into a new house and have a job so I'm settled for a few months. Some of the features work now but need to finish one or two main things.

It will need some new values for the translation so if you want to help once I've finished making the text for the English version it.

There is an unlisted way atm which i use for testing which you need to select a portal with "/portal select" then punch it or "/portal select (portal name)", Then you do "/portal command add example command here"

You are trying to execute an advanced portals command through the console. This is not allowed as it needs position data and casts the client to player. I will add some code to make sure the console wont cause crash logs however this wont change that you cant use them in the console :P

I'm not sure what you were doing so message me if its something peculiar or you are confused.

Not atm, this should be a plugin clash e.g. having a powertool set maybe? To fix this try changing the item you can use to something else in the config of portals.

Could you send me the new log? If that is the new error you are getting then you forgot to switch versions xP

Yep it can do diagonal portals. Just set the trigger block to what you need, (Of course air wont work but thats cauz its all over the place) and make sure you encase the whole portal with the selection region.

Should be fixed in 0.0.26, something I did in the update actually broke the newer one for older versions.

There were a few issues with riding a entity through a portal so i removed it a while back. I could try adding it back soley for carts at least because as far as i know normal carts don't really have any nbt data which is unique. (horses caused some annoying problems so i removed them)

Older versions can be found on bukkit, I have found the issue with this specific version and will write a fix to add backwards compatability for 0.0.25

Also not sure what you did but you may have an invalid version as if you have a build directly of spigot it should print 1_8_R1 not 1-8-R1.

It was caused by a change in data after 1.8R2 so 1.8.3 mc works.

Also its not an issue of this mod cant handle it. Older versions were made for it and can be found on bukkit (origionally i removed due to a scare from spigot thinking there was a backdoor for mods to get admin access which was false) though it would be a pain to reupload as spigot has no archive feature like bukkit.

Also the version you reviewed at least has a major bug because of permissions that I set to have false by default (my mistake sorry). Use 0.0.23 rather than 0.0.22

Nope. There was a bug in the past which teleported you to the nether if you were in creative and I have had a few reports of it happening recently however they may be using old versions. You can have the nether on but be careful I guess. If its a survival server then you literally have nothing to worry about if it was the old bug anyway.

It disables nether portals inside the portals protection area. So if you place a normal portal next to the Advanced Portal then it is also disabled.

Not atm. I am fixing the teleporting commands so if you find a plugin that does that normally with a command you should be able to combine them once thats done.

Deffo will. I want some explosions and things like fireworks. I will probably add a particle and sound tag in the next major update :P

Its now open to the community. I have started working on this again and have rewritten a large part of the plugin already now. Also agreed the in game menus need to be more readable.

Thanks, I just finished some stuff so I can take a look at adding languages for the user seen parts of the plugin. I think changing the whole menu may make the text layout code side of the menus a bit strange so to start I'll add it for the main messages such as on warp.

As for the list not working I am not sure why, if you could demonstrate it not working that would be appreciated. And as for the config stuff I'll take a look. I think I may have removed the reloading functionality by mistake when moving some of the code around.

I thought I had fixed nether portals but looking it seems a commit someone else made removed the teleport event listener. So ill re-add that and try and fix it without using the warped data it was using in the past.

Sorry the plugin is still in development and when I get the change it will be undergoing a large recode. At the moment the help is on a github wiki page which most other people seem to have found easily or watched the video on the list :P (I just hadnt got to making the help menu as ive been busy).

I agree with the being unable to edit is rather annoying. Once my exams are over I will be adding to option to redefine the variables for the portals as well as recoding the system for some other features.

As I have stated before in the discussion thread and in responses to reviews on here and bukkit. Bukkit handles server movements. Atm the bukkit part was just mosly for the minigame servers and others that wanted to be able to throw a user on to another server. I will as stated below be making a system for bungee to specify locations if the plugin is on the destination server otherwise it is not possible.
