1.8 till 1.12.2 support has been dropped, due to lack of required features to get all of this working, we've tried keeping the support as long as possible, but a lot of times had to double the work done to just have a separate way to do a feature on 1.8 and then on 1.13+, so plugin now supports 1.13+ only.
