Could you please add this plugin's features to the MCRealistic plugin, I feel like this plugin adds a "realistic" feature, and a separate plugin for just this one feature seems kinda weird.

But hey, I like the idea of this plugin. Maybe you could make it so that underwater monsters could ride these barrels and move around with them to make them more difficult.
Also, why not put some loot in the barrels? And why not make logs behave the same way so that there would be floating logs in the ocean that you could ride.
