Solid support, feature I needed was added after just a few days. Best seasons solution out there!

This is a funplugin with great API. It demonstrates harsh-winter perfectly, forcing people to farm up before winter arrives.

Excellent plugin, works really fast with new minecraft updates, it adds more of the realism in the minecraft, i use it on our personal minecraft server for my friends and everyone love it!

Can the persistent NBT tag for leaves be set to true after replacing the blocks? Otherwise, some resource packs may recognize them as decaying leaves, which causes the colors to look strange.

I would also like to add a feature to automatically remove snow layers from unloaded chunks.

Please add an option to change when the snow falls on the ground! :( And it's probably not possible to add that the snow will be layered? That maybe 1 block of snow would fall? :D

Excellent plugin, but I'm puzzled by the fact that when I set winter to start on December 21st, the snow doesn't begin to fall until January 18th. Is there a way to set it so that the snow starts falling, for example, on December 22nd?

Honestly kinda sucks. The only good season is fall, winter is very depressing with the ice building in the gifs looking like its generated from the edge of the surface towards the middle, but in the end just generates randomly and insanely stupid looking with every chunk basically generating 1 ice every few seconds

Spring with the cherry leaves is very dumb, best would be replacing just a % of trees, but all trees just being cherry is just stupid and kinda nothing else happens, and summer is not better.

When testing the easter event triggered and nothing happened when right-clicking or breaking the block in survival mode.

Amazing plugin, running this on my 1.21.1 survival server, with multiple worlds and the full Mythic suite of plugins. Updates are a little slow, however the Dev has been very active to implement bug fixes quickly when an issue arises.

Cool plugin ... BUT ... there is a memory leak issue when using with other plugin like MythicDungeon so i have no choice but to remove this plugin on my server. Someone already reported the issue in github and it seems that they are not active there... so until it is fixed, this review will stay.

overall a great plugin, however after encountering a bug and properly submitting it in the discord, ive been treated very disrespectul from JasperTheDev, who was not even trying to reproduce the error, all he was pointing out is that the issue was on my end, event tho that has not been the case AND i have proven that. ive never been treated with such immature and arrogant behavior from a dev. im willing to change this review, once i get proper support.

Seriously, this plugin is amazing for what it does, and what it can achieve. It feels like a coded in minecraft update at times.

Amazing plugin. Seems vanilla, adds plenty of visual changes, and makes the game slightly more complex without it being irritating.

Do not use this plugin on Linux. It will modify the entire folder's permissions to UNKNOWN owner and will end up bricking your world.

Other than it doesn't have a simple but necessary feature; whitelisting worlds and disable on new worlds, support is poor as well.

An alright plugin, only if one of my plugins isn't dependent on this, I'd be glad to throw this one into the bin. +2 stars for effort I guess.

A cute little plugin which adds some very cool gameplay to the server and it includes sub-plugin support for other features which make this a definite must-have for future servers I run.

I HIGHLY recommend every server owner to invest in this plugin and try it out, this is one of the best plugins I have ever seen and used in Minecraft. The developers who made this have some real skill to be able to develop and shape RealisticSeasons to be the way it is today from customization to attention to detail, and even prioritizing server owners needs to protect their worlds and their players creations. I fully support any plugin developers like this charging money for their work, because I'm sure a lot of time, energy, and research went into developing this, and at the end of the day they deserve to go buy themselves a beer for their hard work. Money well spent, thank you personally to the developers of RealisticSeasons for making something that honestly should've been included in the main game to begin with, come to life.

I thought a bit about whether I should write a review... All in all a cool plugin. Unfortunately rather something for simpler survival servers. The plugin is sadly not ideal if you want to configure a lot. The biome categories are strict and you can't manually adjust the temperatures per biome (only biomegroups) and per season, thats pity. I am also missing important commands.
Everything was requested several times in the Discord and received approval. Unfortunately, development has almost fallen asleep.
If more features are added, definitely 5 stars.

Excellent plugin! Highly documented and configurable. Just perfect if you want to spice up your survival and enjoy more seasons in the game.

This is a very good investment for every Minecraft server, it's great if there are now seasons in MC. Can you actually define different calendars for several worlds at the same time? (an ice world with little sun and always dark in autumn/winter)

This plugin seems to have achieved the impossible: a mechanic altering season mod which is both compatible with custom world gen *and* doesn't damage vanilla worlds. Seasons are beautiful, add new challenges to the game and are highly configurable.

Dev is also super responsive and open to feedback, I hope they continue to maintain it!

If you buy only one premium plugin, this one is worth it.

Great plugin, my players love it (haven't complained), although I did disable temperature, I don't want to give my players an extra thing to worry about.

Absolutely nothing works. Automatic season cycle, day/night cycling even if modify-daynight-lenght is turned to false, but I want sync-time-with-real-world true. this plugin is driving me completly insane, holy crap

Have been waiting a week to be verified. I bought this plugin and have had constant data leaks with it in the server file causing mass lag. Send all info in and nobody responds. Fix it or I will be disputing with my CC company as yall selling a Faulty product that doesnt do what it says it will do.

The plugin is good but i have a problem
today I bought the plugin but I realized that not all the blocks change, is it a bug? or how can i fix it?
I already allowed the worldguard flags
I also notice that when I walk away from the winter biomes, the biomes reset to the defaults (vanilla)

The plugin itself is really cool, but it doesnt work at all, most of my world is still looking the same, I think the problems could be easily get fixed on my server but the support is terrible, the threads system is really bad and is not a good idea for support.
I told them to use tickets but they dont change a thing, not worth the money sorry but if just 20% of my world is changing its not worth it.

I don't want to say your work is not perfect but I have some ideas that would really make it a perfect fit for my server.

-Have leaves break during winter (falling is good but I visually prefer just breaking) and then respawn in spring.
-Make unsheltered crops still grow just a little bit in winter. A teeny tiny bit to make gameplay not too hard.
-Implement a wind system with particles in spring, fall, and winter. They can push entities or chill the player.

This plugin is brilliant! Really a little gem and a MUST HAVE for any survival server. It brings so much more atmosphere to the game, and new challenges for the players. And it works better than expected.

I've been running this on my own separate world to test (on my public server) & I'm in love!
After showing a few people they were impressed at the speed seasons can be changed at & the simple fact that a lot of actions are client-only not modifying the world's actual files all that much.

Cool plugin, if I could give it a 4.5/5 I would. Only reason it's not 5 stars is because the Winter season is sometimes messy, not all of the ice and snow melts and it creates weird looking places since it's supposed to be summer. I know the developer said he/she is working on fixing this issue once they do I will give it a 5 star for sure

Realistic Seasons is is a beautiful and immersive plug-in that really breathes new life into your Minecraft worlds. In addition to seasons, it comes with other features including a calendar and an optional temperature system that can add some extra challenge for some of the extreme climates. I have been running this plug in on one of my servers for the past couple of months now and I was pleased to see how attentive the author has been to bug fixes and even adding new features.

From my experience, this plug-in plays well with other server plug-ins. For example: I use DynMap to generate a world map for my server and was pleasantly surprised to see an option for pausing Dynmap tile updates so that the winter season’s snowfall would not replace all my rendered map tiles and keep my server busy with tile updates. I wasn’t expecting this, but it was a nice touch.

I also really like how configurable the plug-in is. On my server, my players found that the amount of animals and plants that spawn in different seasons could be a bit much. I was pleased how easy it was to rein that in by editing a configuration file and then reloading plug-in’s configuration in-game. This and all of its features are well-documented on the plug-in’s wiki page.

In short, I’m very pleased with what this plug-in has done for my small Minecraft server, and my friends really enjoy it. This plug-in is well worth the roughly $10 the author is asking for.

cashgrab in my opinion, a lot of false advertising, no functional testservers and incompatible with well-known plugins, support isn't friendly too.

Great Plugin! Has enhanced my server experience so much and such a unique way to differentiate your server. While this is a bit of an intense plugin due to the changes it does, I can still recommend it if you have a good machine because it is well coded. I also like the configs, very easy to work with and well laid out. Dev is also very helpful and has answered all the questions I may have had. Overall, good price and good buy.

This is a very cool plugin. I have a very large multiverse-core server and I recently began testing 1.18.1 with a clone of my server. On a whim, I decided to add this in.

I haven't really played survival mode in a long time and Realistic Seasons added one of the best twists to the game that I've seen in a long time.

Winter is brutal and it really makes you plan and think ahead! Love it! Thank you for the work you have put into Realistic Seasons.

This is one of the best plugin, I have ever downloaded. Stable, good quality, fast bug fixes. It's even support Geyser now too! This thing is truely "premium".

It's a pretty cool plugin that can see the different seasons of the building look.

What a lovely plugin! It does what it says it does, and it does it really well. One request I'd like to make is to add the ability to set specific seasons in a certain world guard region, since I would prefer if I could keep it at summer inside of the spawn area only whilst the rest of the world keeps having seasons like normal. But all in all, awesome plugin!

Amazing plugin with loads of customisation! Works very well and haven't encountered any bugs with it. Would love to see the environment effects on the player expanded further & different types of weather. Having multiple snow layers would be a bonus.

Okay, here's my opinion on this plugin..

And that is, it's absolutely one of the best plugins I've bought thus far, I haven't seen anything like it, the developer of the plugin is friendly and open to suggestions, the developer doesn't sit on a high horse and is willing to help you out in almost all situations regarding his plugin.

For the plugin itself, it is receiving regular updates, sometimes multiple in a day, this makes it so that more fresh features are added into the plugin, which overall makes it more enjoyable.

For it's impact on the game-play, it quite definitely makes the world and scenery more interesting, even on earth maps, this plugin makes things more fresh and unique.

Technical stuff wise, I like the developer's idea of the biomes only appearing client-side, this makes things much easier if certain features of the game are biome-dependent (at least, that's my understanding of it, I may be incorrect).

Overall, this plugin is extremely good, and if you're looking for seasons, or just a new, fresh, and unique element to the game, then this plugin is for you, cost wise, I would say it quite good, given how the plugin is receiving regular updates, and how unique it is, and the quality of support. This plugin is absolutely worth buying!

This is such an amazing plugin, extremely active developer with reactive updates following feedback from the server owners via their Discord. Immediate responses to support, updates to fix issues.

There are a couple undesirable developers out there, with big egos, who are quite rude to their customers or people choosing to use their plugins; this isn't one of them.

Speaking on behalf of my small community; they LOVE the changes this plugin brings to the experience, and I'm surprised that at this point in time only 60 people have took the dive to investing in it.

Best season plugin for Minecraft, hands down. Doesn't cause me any performance issues, and my server is running on a tiny little Raspberry Pi.

This plugin does what it says and does it great. The seasons look amazing with all the different colored leaves. Here is the main issue with it. Seasons was using 73% of the server's tick, so please be careful with it.

Finally, an actual seasons plugin that does what it says! Super easy to use, seeking support is super fast, by reaching out in the Support discord, and really changes the feel of Minecraft. I 100% recommend if you're looking for a realistic seasons plugin.
