This plugin DOES work perfectly fine. (1.20.2)
If it doesn't work some other plugin is probably conflicting.

This plugin does NOT work for version 1.19.3 (paper) please update this soon so we may use it.

i think it is possible to hide individual names or all names, for example:
/ hnt hide [player] it will hide the name of a certain player
/ hnt all (it will hide all nameplates)
/ hnt disable [world] it will hide according to the world

10/10 works on 1.16.5 paper. You can even add worlds where the plugin is active. Great for minigames!
