Can it be set like "engine-mode: 1"? Seeing ore everywhere causes lag. Instead, very few of the ores should appear, just like "engine-mode: 1"

100/10 absolutely great plugin and very smart one at that. Making the cheating losers think they can just Xray and see every world block but instead they see fake blocks EVERYWHERE. That's very smart, well done.

Don't pay attention to the negative reviews, the plugin works perfectly. I run a private free server with friends that does have crappy hardware (what can you expect for free), and this plugin does what it's supposed to do without lagging. I even didn't edit the config.
However, I've only tested it with TPs, I don't know how it performs with a hack client.

I was messing with the configuration for it bc by default this anti xray causes crashing due to low fps and in general its buggy notice my main specs are: CPU ryzen 9 7950x3d GPU RTX 4090 RAM 64 gb DDR5. im guessing its due to it rendering every single block below you and making it a colorful block aka a ore block. so i tried to change this by setting the blocks it chooses as air or a solid block like stone when doing so it ran for abt 10 seconds of testing also instead of it hiding the ores it would show 1 block of each ore deposit. but after 10 seconds it crashed the game and the server left my main monitor black and it fucked my shit up so bad that now my nvidia overlay stats are all set as a long number which is set for all of the stats the number is :4294967295. it shows this number for gpu usage % aswell as GPU clock memory clock gpu temp and gpu voltage. i highly suggest never installing this plugin and id highly suggest spigot taking it down considering how much it can fuck up ur pc.

why can't it just hide blocks that aren't exposed to air?? i'm hosting my server locally on an admittedly not very good computer and this plugin single handedly brings my server to its knees. i can't help but feel like it wouldn't lag as much if it wasn't rendering a bunch of nonsense below me. for lacking this crucial feature, 2 stars.

I'm not sure about all the recent negative reviews, this does offer more customization that the paper anti-xray and seems to work well. It's a little more taxing, but does a better job against freecam cheats in my opinion.

This plugin sucks completely because it loads the server too much, but also the computer itself when you run around the world, so I don't really wear it.

Literally a plugin that no one needs as you can setup this manually in the server config folder, you just created this plugin for amateur owners to use, people who doesn't know how to host a server.

An essential plugin for any SMP. You do need to add a couple more plugins such as OreControl to scramble ore generation to your server though due to this plugin being able to be easily bypassed

Great Xray Plugin was using the classic/legacy Anti-Xray plugin but since its not updated from 1.18 I use this now but I have seen server lag and resource hogging when I use the plugin

But insistently thanks to the dev's explanations I was able to understand, and take the real test on my server and see the plugin hiding any block that you configure for it to hide. It really works.

A very good Anti X-Ray Plugin. The API was a bit hard to find and understand at the beginning, but once you understand it, it's very easy.

Works great on 1.18.2, with a PurPur kernel. In the description of this add-on it is not written, though of course my kernel spams a huge message in the console, but it still works, thanks.

Works very well, however, I have one small problem with it. Going below Y=0, the ores still remain normal stone. This flaw can be taken advantage of by an xray cheat that only shows the blocks you by filtering to only be shown the ores buried in deepslate. If you want fix this tho, this is the best ore obfuscator out there. Good luck!

It works very well for me, I haven't tried how it works with more players yet because the server is in development, but for now, everything seems okay.

Also haven't noticed any FPS drops and server lag for now.

Paper, 1.17.1, 5GB, Intel i7 6700K @ 4.2Ghz

When I put this plugin on my server, there is a terrible lag (chunks don't load, players lag, etc.), I don't know why, I hope they fix it soon

I installed with default settings and multiple users complained about FPS drops so I removed. One user had weird issue that his chests appeared as water, until he opened them, then graphic normalized.

I would recommend some further user testing, and better default settings with the public release.

I finally got this plugin I had a spigot server but I didn't want people x-ray on my server so this is the best plugin .I have been using it over a week and I don't have any problems with the plugin And I am very glad that I found this plugin because spigot servers doesn't have inbuilt anti x-ray like paper.

Best anti-xray solution, does a lot, with recent performance update isn't noticable that much anymore.

Suggestion: make some kine of anti entity tracker, which hides entities you normally couldnt see :)

This plugin really works, one of the best anti xray I have found, but I see many bugs and errors, as in my case the world did not load me when I entered my server, it is recommended if you have a server with a good amount of ram and I do not recommend that you use it if you have a magma or mohist server as it will give you a lot of problems

Good plugin, I would recommend not using on 1.18. That server version is very much not optimized and this brought my server tps down to 12 while using it, luckily found it in a timings report before people starting leaving

Useless plugin, paper already has a antixray built into it, you dont need a extra plugin to do this.

It works great. Simple x-ray resource packs are not working with this plugin. Server owner can make some jokes like all stones looks like diamonds for x-rayers

Pls Help: When i start the Server, Orebfuscator gives me two errors. FIrst eror: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: update radius must higher than zero.
Second error: java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke "net.imprex.orebfuscator.cache.ChunkCache.close()" because "this.chunkCache" is null

I remember using this plugin back in the old bukkit days. I'm glad it was revived and updated for Spigot and Paper. The default settings are indeed laggy so you have to optimize it yourself a bit. This is literally the only plugin that PREVENTS X-Ray, not a [email protected] whistle like the others.

REALLY useful! Much faster than Paper's built-in anti x ray thanks to cache! It only needs better options (easier and more configs!)

A fine plugin that prevents people from Xraying.
The default settings causes a drop in FPS though (using shaders with optifine).
I fixed this by only using stone blocks for obfuscation.

Better than putting my server at a higher risk of having its players x-ray and leaving the server right after thinking they'll never going to get banned for being this sneaky, or end up with one active moderator as the only active staff in the server that all it does is complain about being treated by a child and rarely do anything.

It's a headache saver, and I'm glad it's still being updated for the current version of Minecraft.

Haven't been able to accurately test on my own server, but seeing this on another server I was a part of, I know that is a quality minimalist plugin that does what it needs to do.

This is the only actual Anti-XRay plugin, everything else is just an alert system, this plugin blocks xray before it even happens. i remember using this back in the Craftbukkit days!
