This bug is so ugly and we can't get rid of it, which made us decide to take another plugin instead.

Quite seemingly this plugin is no longer being maintained. RIP.
It was a great plugin I have ever used with extended features that every admin would want and use with not too much effort to set up.

Advanced Tab Overlay is an absolute server necessity to every Spigot server. It is beautiful out of the box, is so customizable, and is exactly what I've been looking for. Recent reviews may say "unmaintained" but that is not true. This plugin works great and has a recent update on 1.19. I will be using this for a very long time.

the plugin has a bug in mc 1.16.5 that when you start the server you have to give it /ato reload by obligation to load

from then on super excellent beautiful plugin and there is no other like it please fix that slight bug and I change the review to 5 stars

unmaintained. 1/5 due to the bugs and incompatibility with other plugins. From the visual / configuration setup side i'd say it is 5/5. But unfortunately it is absolutely abandoned and noone react to the issues so when installing plugin dont expect it to work correctly.

Current state of the plugin is not good to say the least; a lot of incompatibilities with other plugins and Java versions, developer is inactive without any notice and reported issues aren't getting looked into/fixed.

Since I installed AdvancedTabOverlay on Java 16 and Paper 1.16.5 my Citizens started to break along with scoreboards. Have been figuring the issues for over a month after which it was determined it's all caused by AdvancedTabOverlay;

The most customizable and user-friendly tab plugin out there! There are barely any limitations, and it has so many options. You can have an easy, vanilla-like tablist, or go crazy with information, seperate tablists for different worlds, staff-tab and so much more! Love this plugin

It's a miracle that this plugin isn't that well known compared to like BTLP, but I think that is due to CodeCrafter not advertising it on BTLP as a good Spigot alternative and because of plugins like TAB that established themself as a popular (although being a bit bloated) plugin.

AdvancedTabOverlay is essentially BungeeTabListPlus for Spigot with a few minor limitations (One being that there seems to be no fake player command?) that allows extremely customizable tab lists for almost every situation you can imagine.

Want a different tab list for skyblock world? You can.
Want to display custom text and icons in slots? Yup.
Want to take over the world? I... I don't think that's possible with this...

Again, so sad to not see this plugin at popularity similar to BTLP but so be it I guess.
It's still good and I'm so happy it exists (and that I suggested it *pats own shoulder*)

Amazing plugin.
Offers the same features like BungeeTabListPlus, but for Spigot. It's so nice to finally have a similar tab list without the requirement to have a BungeeCord network.
