If you're looking for an economy plugin, do not waste your time anywhere else. Not only is the support for this one amazing but it offers a variety of different features including the ability to make multiple currencies and the ability to create your own. This is a great plugin and I really cant thank the author enough for his constant help in discord.

Hi, for some reason when I try to edit the denominations like so i can make it into diamonds so ppl can do /bal deposit 100 and it will take 1 diamond from their inv and put it in their balance. It only shows me like 4 options for the denominations and in the video it shows like 10. Can someone please help me

The easiest economy plugin I've worked with by far. As soon as I had a question, the dev responded promptly and ensured I was good to go with setting up a new currency. It looks like some modules are being worked on based on what I read (possibly a bank as one which would be awesome!), I 'm looking forward to seeing those!

This economy plugin is so useful, it solves all my problems. The wiki isn't very detailed, but the author is very enthusiastic, and he will answer all questions. Don't miss out on this excellent plugin just because you don't know how to use it. It helped me achieve currency synchronization across all sub-servers, and different sub-servers can use different default currencies through Vault integration.

My server felt bulky before using this plugin. Converting between items and virtual money is just how item-based economies work. But with TNE I'm able to have the best of both worlds without the extra janky steps of exchanging mediums. It can only get better! Great job, and great economy plugin!

Doesn't do what it promises right away. I was missing a yml and had to search for it so Mobdrops work.
Developer doesn't answer his Discord for 3 Days and then replies with 3 words.
So I switched plugins.

Best economy plugin ever! The item currency can run without any problem even player offline or some else.
The developer was very patient to answer a lot of questions that I asked.

Absolutely great!

First I had to fight one hour to get the server performance from constant 8 tps to 20 tps (because of very weird config mistakes), after that I had to deal with plugins that were delayed because of TheNewEconomy, the chat was delayed to, but I had 20 tps.
Everytime I unloaded TNE the delay was gone everywhere.
And my server never had laggs or delay before, because of its 24GB RAM, 6-Core 4GHz CPU, SSD and a very good internet connection..

I really cant help me. I tried so many things, but this plugin wouldn't work without this problems.

WOW This plugin has come a loooong way since its earliest reviews. It is simply the only best item-based eco plugin on this platform so far. It has very powerful denomination controls and you can literally make anything on your server a currency. GG

Fantastic eco plugin, works with Towny and allows for cross-server economy which was key for me. Setup was straight forward. The Dev was quick and helpful when responding to any questions I had. Recommend for anyone looking for cross-server and/or Towny support.

Plugin developer is always happy to assist with any issues trough their Discord and there's comprehensive documentation on the github page.

Plugin is coded like dogshit, it was lagging my server to 6 - 8 tps, timings indicated that it was causing 40% of tick problems. Not suitable for a production server.

There's definitely a lot to it but if you just take your time and read through it, it's AMAZING. The owner was super responsive to my silly questions. Would definitely recommend.

If I could give zero stars I would. This plugin makes a lot of promises but fails to fulfill them. Dev isn't active enough to help troubleshoot or fix his own plugin. After patiently waiting over 20 days for help I'm done. This plugin seemed promising but is useless if the API and features don't work properly.

Used to work fine in the past. However, item based currencies seem to have some issues regarding calculating the balance that a player has. I tried to reach the author with a proper bug report but no help was provided sadly.

It has amazing potential but is a very bad idea right now. I was very excited about this plugin, but now it's pretty much killed my server.

A single listener from this plugin is taking up 95% of my servers tick. Its been like this FOR MONTHS. Can't roll it back any farther or it just doesn't work. Can't export the data out of the plugin, no other economy plugin supports this.

The dev is fully rude. He provides no support and just tells you to wait. Just deal with it. Just wait.

I understand devs on this site deal with little jerks all day long. I get that half the time it's already documented and already answered. But that doesn't really make BEING RUDE acceptable. That's all you will get when you join that discord. Him just being snappy and rude.

This dev clearly can't figure out why this listener is lagging so badly and they don't have any interest in accepting help or even data from servers. Literally, all you get is just short answers from him. On the one hand, I will say he DOES answer fast and that is totally appreciated but the BS answers just kinda hurt the effort. Like... why answer then?

Since my server is resetting, I'm literally watching the listener lag a server with SIX people online. 4 afk. This is a server (without this plugin) that can hold 60+ with perfect tps. But these 6 people right now are sitting at 4 tps.

Outside of these issues, the multi-world system is just... not that great. There should be an easier way to just.... disable this. But no, there isn't. You have to change every language file, you have to do all the extra things for it. (Which as server owners, we should do that anyway but really that shouldn't be a REQUIREMENT).


I'm switching to a different plugin, and I'm not looking back. I know this dev is very good at what he does, it's just disappointing to see how its clearly beaten him down :/

Thought I found a good plugin until last update. now server freeze. Posted and error on the github page and it was closed without second thought because of formating.. with a rude message being set to me...

It's only supporting 1.13 and writen tested on 1.7 to 1.13 when it's false, i tried the version said as compatible with 1.12 and below and that's just crashing my server, i'm now stuck with a crashing plugin because the dev put false ads. He removed 1.8 tested after i asked him which version was 1.8 compatible and he wasn't able to tell me ...

There is a lack of documentation to assist you in actually setting up the economy, or even understanding the multi-currency concept the author has accentuated upon. The discord link doesn't even work. I find it quite difficult to set up a plugin that has no documentation, even when it's as complex as this.

This plugin are spamming the console alot, and are eating to much ram. And is also very hard to use and understand.

I like that many commands are aliased to the essentials counterparts. I love the pay offline and transaction history features. There seems to have a very robust system but the documentation is very lacking. Many of the pages on github give me 404, or 'Coming Soon' pages.

I'm searching for a plugin like this so long time, it's amazing and I love it I search many modules but I recently read they are not ready, I hope them with a lot of desire, please don't let this unfinished, this gonna be THE economy plugin. I'm gonna save money to donate you.

As a suggest, with a link shortener module thar reward the user when the token has been validated gonna rocks! A premium module maybe.

I've tried a lot of economy plugins and this is the best one so far. If you want item currency this is the plugin to go with. We switched from gringots and performance is much better.

After mysql connection, each time you query the funds will cause the card, if you do not fix this problem, this plugin will never be used.

Uses tons of ram which only grows over time. Even when there are no players at all! Disabling auto saver does not help.

This plugin is meh. The latest versions don't work on a 1.8.8 server, so I have to resultl to using 0.0.5.5. Even then there are errors when having to take/give money to players. Doing /money give Player1 5 gives the sender 5 instead of Player1. Also you can't modify offline player's balances which is also pretty annoying.

Average plugin, no proof that any more work was put into this than into better Economy Plugins, though this one is updated and new, meaning it wont have as many bugs, it is heavily lacking in Useablility, the commands are confusing as are the permissions, though this may be something that requires time getting used to, it is also on the development end, this plugin may have the potential to overtake EssentialsX... someday? but it definitely needs better releases than just "Beta" plenty of other new economy plugins are easier to use, so if starting out with a new economy plugin i do not recommend this, however if you are comfortable with configuring plugins and know how to workaround tricky things give this a try! it may surprise you!

Not only is this the best economy plugin I've seen, with critical support for one feature I'm very interested in (multi currencies), it also has one thing I've rarely seen in most plugins- the developer is very available to bring concerns to and assist with issues. This makes up completely for the lack of documentation, even.

This is the best economy plugin that currently exists. The ability to have item currencies without massive lag on big servers is something no other plugin can handle. Customisability is great with features packed into different modules that you can add or remove at will.

Also I was the 10 000th downloader of the plugin and did not win a special price, 0/10.

I love the Plugin and Its features, although I am having a problem converting from 0.0.5.5 to 0.1.0.0. When I use the converter and execute the /tne extract command it creates the file, and displays in chat that it "Successfully extracted player balance data.", but when I checked the file extracted.yml file was empty.

Hello, I wanted to give you some suggestions.
One is that you add taxes that are withdrawn from bank accounts and go to a principal, which would be from the owner.
Another is that you allow two people to access the same bank account.

Awesome looking plugin and has loads of features that a all in one should have but does still need work. There are a few bugs with shops and giving money. Needs some more features like the ability to do chest sign shops on top of the gui style shop feature just as an example.

Biggest reasons for not giving 4th star is major lack of documentation. I have spent 3 days with this plugin and I am stil lost at how to do or even use some of the features it states it has. Really would love to use this plugin but I fear it is not where it needs to be for me to have it as a replace meant for chestshop, crazy auctions, Lottery, any bank plugin, and of course EssentialsX eco. I truely hope this plugin gets loads of work done for it to progress and become "The NEW Economy" plugin for bukkit/spigot. EssentialsX is nice but I want what this plugin offers.

Very nicely done simple to use. Only thing I don't like is objects charge being enabled by default. Took me a sec to figure out how to disable.

1 starts rly bad plugin When I add money or send money to me, it wont give them to me, but it creates a new account named null. I wrote to support skype and email zero the answer

I really hate giving this 3 stars as this is a plugin with a LOT of potential. The creator is doing a recode that's coming out next month and I will update this review after that but I felt it was important to write this today. The plugin has bugs when used on a 1.12.1 server and I would suggest to anyone to wait for October when the re-write comes out. If that release fixes the current bugs this will be a 10 star plugin!

Plugin is full of bugs sorry but whatever i do something wont work.
Than plugin have some unnecesary things
make it with alias /eco like essentials have
per world balance without Bank or Server owner can disable each of options they want all wont need all features.

Not working on 1.12 gives a lot of errors when i use /money set playername amount word

There should be a way to /bal <currency> to check your balance of another currency. Or maybe /bal shows all the currency you have.

Amazing! Plugin this just took 5 plugins that I use to do what this does and knocked it down to 1 plugin I have to manage Awsome job! I do not got problem though ill tell you discard if it is not fixed with this update :)

Great plugin, replaces most other economy plugins. I haven't noticed any bugs or issues. However, it would be nice to be able to set the item currency amounts like Gringotts has. Set the value of a gold block as 9 and ingot as 1 etc. Also being able to set the value of the decimal to 9 instead of 10 before changing to a whole number would be a nice addition as well.

Nice plugin but please update It because It have many of bugs with inventories.. .

Your plugin is very good, but there is a weird bug in version 0.0.5.0! The formatting code <dark_gray> does not work properly. More in discussion section. And these color codes are not really comfortable. It's annoying to write them down every few words. xD My advice for you: Introduce the &-ColorFormatting.

Just switched over, wasn't liking Essential's economy. There wasn't much to it. TNE has everything you'd need and dev is adding all you could ever think of. Hell, even if you think of anything, just let them know and it might just get added.

Economy sorted, with MySQL support so you save on precious diskspace :D

Someone who takes in requests from the community and execute out such a plugin, well done, keep it up....

Great Plugin with a very active developer that listens to his community. If you are looking for an economy plugin, this is it. Once set up correctly, even this Alpha version is top of the line and should be premium.

This is definitely what I'm looking for. The only issue I'm having, is that when I buy and sell (chestshop) I check my balance (/money) and it keeps my balance the same. I set it for 50. If I sell, it says how much I recieved, but my balance stays at 50.

Works, but it refused to work with towny for me.
As towny server owner i can't use this plugin if it wont work with towny.

Excellent plugin, Has ton of features but at the same time if you dont want them you can disable them.

The developer is awesome he works really hard Iv reported 10+ issues with some 50+ messages between the dev and myself. Nearly all the changes on 2.2 were due to things I reported,
