This plugin is great and still the gold standard for any Creative server. I have been using P2 since the beginning. Figured I would leave a comment because the last 3 1-star reviews have no idea what they are talking about. The plugin is frequently updated, the developers are active and provide great support, I have no complaints.

Negative messages or smiley's are getting instead deleted on their Discord. Every Release is a joke, with having more then 150 open issues, they fix only tiny non relevant bugs.

When creating a world on 1.21.1, it was not generated as expected, but instead a default vanilla style world was generated. The most annoying thing is that when I wanted to join Discord, I found out that the invitation had already expired. I am unable to contact the author.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to use this plugin at all. When I am installing this following all the instructions, this plugin still doesn't work on Java 17 and Paper 1.16.5.
There's no support at all. After I've requested for Discord role for support to be assigned to me on March 28 (more than 5 days passed) I still haven't received and response, after PMing server admins about my role request I also haven't received a response.
So I paid, and I can't use this plugin nor I can't get support.

Seit der Version 7.4.0 und 7.4.1 kann man keine Tiere aus Eimern mehr auf seinem Plot freilassen.
(Cod, Salmon, Tropical Fish, Pufferfish, Axolotl, ...)
Es wird nur Wasser platziert wenn man den Eimer mit dem Tier darin "Rechtsklickt" (Das Tier im Eimer spawnt nicht!)
Ich weiß leider nicht woran es liegt, habe nur WorldEdit und PlotSquared installiert.

It's a really good plugin. It has a lot of functions and an extensive wiki. There are often errors and it is not easy to set all functions as you want, but you just have to deal with the plugin and the wiki and after more or less time you can solve almost all your problems yourself, often it is due to incorrect configuration - if there is still an error you can report it in the Discord where you get good support - even if it can sometimes take a long time. Much respect to the development team and keep up the good work !

Overall this plugin ok and does what it needs to do. There are some issues and it can get buggy at times and it is impossible trying to get support since support is not offered here and I understand they mention that, but if you're going to charge for a plugin that you sell here, then you should at least be checking messages here or don't sell it here at all. Just like bigbootybongo reported on 12/17/2024 I tried to join their discord as well and the invitation fails and there is no methods of getting a hold of them other than these forums which they don't check. I even made a post about it with the screenshot of my issue. I have heard of others in other Discords and forums complaining of the same issues with their Discord. So if you are requiring support for this, the buyer beware as you may or may not get it. I have been trying for a year with no luck. Otherwise it is can be a good plugin once you learn it and it could be even better if you could get support on other platforms rather than just Discord. Have some redundancy for contact methods especially if you're going to charge for this plugin. I understand it is easier to support it from one platform, but don't completely ignore the other ones completely especially if people are having issues joining the Discord server. There should be some alternate method to connect with the developers.

i am asking for help in discord, because i dont know if its a bug or not. i am playing on 1.21.4 paper but the settings.yml in PS7 telling me - your sever is running on bukkit. Avoid. I paid for this plugin over a year ago, and I swear the longest I've gotten it to work on my server is like a month before something goes south. It seems like every update, the permissions and grief settings get scrambled and it's back to square one of figuring out wth is wrong with this plugin. Support? Good luck. Their answer is always "it's something you're doing wrong" and basically no real suggestions to fix. I'm sick of this damn plugin and frankly I'm ready to abandon it and our creative world on our server because it doesnt work as advertised at all.

Great plugin, always has been and will be. I remember my first factions server and this was a key part in making it a good experience.

This plugin was the best investment of my life its easy to setup and to customize changing roads are realy easy! I would recommend it to everyone!

Good plugin overall when it works, but not worth the pricetag. Documentation is not always correct and support is practically nonexistent. It says to join the Discord for support, but I got 1 reply and no additional follow ups after a month of periodically asking with extensive details. Eventually I just debugged the issue myself with the source and found that the schematic config path isn't respected by the world generator. Upon informing the staff of this, I was told I should've gone to GitHub instead of Discord. Why'd I pay for the Discord if I have to do all the work myself in the end and they still don't listen? If this was free with donations, I would not be complaining, but since the developers require payment for support, I believe my frustration is justified. Just learn Java and compile it from source. It'll probably take you less time anyways.

You have to go through gymnastic level verification to get any support. The plugin is buggy and has not worked every time I've tried setting it up per the instructions.

This is the best plot plugin on the planet. I've been using the OG plugin from the start. Now that's is a premium it works even better! Don't think twice about the purchase!

A few permissions don't work, for example the bypass "plots.admin.projectile". And support doesn't respond. :(

- i cannot get support becuase i can neither send a dm to the bot or here on spigot
- the permission packs are not working so you have to give each permission one by one. there is also no admin permission that gives full access to all the plugins commands, neither OP´s can bypass

I paid money so that I could continue to enjoy with updated versions of this plugin and in the end it was abandoned in version 6. No more updates until version 7 which is unknown when it will come out if at all.

Always when there were updates to minecraft this plugin supported even before the new version came out. Too bad it's not like that anymore.

DO NO BUY THIS. You literally get just a broken plugin. There is no such thing as "PREMIUM SUPPORT", there is no support at all. Only a discord channel where everyone has a problem but no one is answering to it. I've tried many times to get any support. With no luck.

The plugin itself is working only if you want just basic plots. Nothing more. It is broken in so many ways, the wiki is very poor and basically is not explaining anything. Example: Single plot areas. Wiki says just "oh yes, there is something like this. You can create it by typing xxx. bye." And nothing more. You type that command, you get spammed by errors, you can ask for help but you will never get a respond.

There are MANY commands that are not working and only throwing errors. Not an error message, but just random java error spam in console. How did it happened that this is the only plot plugin on spigot?

If you think spending $15 or even $20 on a plugin is not worth your money, think twice. I'm sure the developer has spent hundreds if not a thousand hours on this plugin. Now let's consider the average job in the US (because I'm from the US), somewhere around $8-10 for a low-end job. If you only have to spend $15-$20 on a plugin that took hundreds if not thousands of hours and you make that money in 2-3 hours max, I'd say this is a splendid deal.

Definitely NOT RECCOMENDED. There is a "premium support" for buyers only on their discord. No one is responding any questions. The wiki is VERY confusing, badly written, and it is lacking a lot of important informations. I've to browse source code to gain information about PAID PLUGIN because SUPPORT IS NOT EXISTING and wiki is so bad. There are many issues that are not resolved and authors seems to not care about it. Just browse their github and discord to find out. The plugin itself is lacking a few quite important functions. For example you cannot delete created areas by command, you just need to delete it from files and do a full server restart (just a reminder it is a 20$ paid plugin XD). Tab completion is broken, some commands have wrong usage (their help is wrong and examples are not working, I have to watch some 4 years old tutorial for an old version to find correct usage of a command). So, for a 20$ plugin you get: bugged plugin which seems to be an alpha version, no support, and very bad wiki. Just don't do this, you will regret it.

Plotsquared is a very good plugin. I have used it for several years and I am very satisfied, I can highly recommend it.

I've used this for numerous years, I don't think I've ever asked for helped or had catastrophic errors. All the settings and flags are great, also the adding schematics or road schematics and just too much to sit here and list. This is a plugin that's another cornerstone of the MC community. People break there servers in so many ways with so many things, this isn't causing any of that. Purchase it and find out for yourself.

Das Plugin ist ansich mega aber leider lässt der Support zu wünschen übrig es gibt immernoch das Problem mit P alias das diese bereits vergeben sind aber leider wird sich auch bei github nicht darum gekümmert schade das man für ein Premium Plugin keinen anständigen support bekommt zumal das problem mit den alias schon mehrfach von anderen usern angesprochen wurde. Anyone leaving less than 5 stars on this resource have no idea what they are talking about. It's lightning fast, efficient, bugs are fixed quickly, active Discord/support – there's nothing that can compare to this plugin for plots and there probably never will be.

Anyone experiencing issues with this resource (that aren't documented on GitHub) is 99% most likely user error.

This is more than 200 plugins I have purchased. Its performance is great, and players like to use it. Have you considered adding a custom plot boundary function? I also found that there are many random translations in the community translation. I hope ban it.

It's a great plugin, but it's going to take a little getting used to. In general, there were no errors and the plugin fully copes with its tasks.

I mean good plugin but the plotsquared aliases don't work properly. It always tells me that this alias exists. And then executing the command: /p visit <PlotAlias> it says: "This user has no claimed plots"... or so bc im using the geman translation of THIS plugin.

I have been using Plot Squared V4 on the depreciated 1.8.8 build for several years now, the setup of the plugin was seamless and provided everything that I needed for some simple survival plots. With my great experience in mind, I thoughtlessly purchased Plot Squared V6 as a premium resource to use on my 1.18 creative server. I am a strong advocate of voting with your wallet and do not at all mind paying for a good resource. I’m sad to say that Plot Squared has disappointed me on all fronts, the documentation on their website is disorganized & incomplete (Some commands or features just aren’t there or provide very little information), the plugin features themselves do not work as stated, it took me and one of my developer friends over 3 hours to figure out how to use a schematic as a preset plot properly the wiki instructions were inaccurate. The last luster wiki documentation was also matched by their support as well. This would be less significant if the system was intuitive to use but many times, I just found several inconsistencies. For example, I was able to delete all the chunks in a world, rejoin it and have it generated in a totally different way than it just had without me changing anything. Or I use one of their recommended test commands to make sure the schematic I was using looked good, and the test command showed me several errors, but when I loaded the same schematic just normally and not through the test command it worked just fine. I joined the support server, provided all the steps I had done per the wikis instructions, and explain how the plugin was not functioning as the documentation intended the response I received was “What is the question?”. Well, I just told you a bunch of applicable information about how the plugin isn’t working as intended and your response is “What is the question?”? It was really discouraging and disheartening. I did respond with my issue in the form of an actual question and I was ignored. Well eventually after hours of trial and error I figured out how to use the feature I was attempting to use and wanted to make it so my plots would get cleared when a user claims it, something I had done with V4 before, I didn’t see it anywhere on the wiki documentation but plenty of other features are also missing from the wiki so I asked in the discord “Is there a way to clear a plot on claim” and the response I received was “Likely by using the API”. Would they have responded to “How do I clear a plot?” with “Likely by using the API” or would have they provided me actual information? Who knows. I would have much preferred a simple “This isn’t currently a feature but you should be able to use the API to do it” instead of a smart-aleck response. Overall, I would recommend that you stay away from purchasing this resource unless you are satisfied with inadequate documentation, inaccurate documentation, and rude or absent support, be prepared to try a config value or command several with the mindset of “well let's see what this does”.

PS: If you think i‘am just an angry reviewer who had like one experience that was not so good, watch this video and you’ll see why PlotSquared is unusable with any worldgen that is not „normal“ like augmented.

I recommend this one, I've had it for awhile. It adds a great element to a server. I really enjoy it.

I recommend this plugin though but however take note you might encounter issues with merged plots (aka 2 owners in one plot) that you cannot /plot visit the second owner. Wasn't an issue in PS v5 but I'm left with an unfixable bug since v6 as they can't reproduce the issue :(

I hope they will fix that bug anytime soon (marked as fixed on github but the bug still persists) and I hate to annoy them by re-asking it on their discord as I already asked it before so I'm preventing myself to ask it again.

Solid plugin that works well but damn are the devs rude when you try to get support (as you can see from their many rude responses here). Plus, navigating that discord is insanely challenging due to the many people asking questions and rare helpful answers. It's the one plugin I dread asking for support for.

They changed the API again, the server can't stop properly because of SQL errors. plot merging is laggy and a lot of other stuff. I am to tired to write down every bug and I know the developers are to arrogant to accept that they fucked up their own plugin. please don't use this plugin anymore. PlotSquared is officially dead.

Amazing plugin. Great changes have been coming out recently, and the new v6 update has made the plugin even better. Even when its in beta, it has had zero issues for me.

It's a great plugin, but I am giving 3 stars because unfortunately I cannot get this plugin to work with 1.17, even though the description states it should work on 1.17

Great plugin that delivers. It has a learning curve but a good wiki. I wont say its as easy as plug and play but it didnt take long to understand the basics. Hopefully the plugin gets a little more user friendly with configuring plots as a whole but the level of individual plot configuring through flags is very thorough.

This plugin requires java 16 to run which makes it do not work on server versions below 1.15 because these do not run with java version greater than java 14,15 (false info on spigot page which may mislead lots of buyers).

Caused by: java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: com/plotsquared/bukkit/BukkitPlatform has been compiled by a more recent version of the Java Runtime (class file version 60.0), this version of the Java Runtime only recognizes class file versions up to 55.0

Also, lots of server hosts are unnable to install new java because lots of plugins will not work with it (for example legacy plugins for lower server versions like 1.13, 1.14). Enforcing everyone to install newest java versions is bad developing practise. If you want to use PlotSquared, free version is totally fine (premium one does not have almost any differences in feeling for player) and it support almost any server version without unessesary compatibility problems with java upgrading.

Can the plugin also be used for the spigot server or is it only for bukkit please answer as soon as possible

The free version has been used for many years, this is an excellent and long-lasting plugin.

Very good plugin, I recommend it for any Creative server! It adapts very well to all configurations that a Creative server needs. I never had any bug. If you need a plugin to manage your server's plots, don't hesitate, buy PlotSquared! (Note: I first tested it using a leak version but considering the quality of this one, I preferred to buy it)

Haven't had any issues, works just as described. if you have the money I'd buy it instead of compiling it to support the devs.

Do not waste the money or time. The free version is fine, whatever, you choose for you. However the paid version is a complete waste of money, the "support" on the discord is them trying to either excuse or explain away their problems with "in the next update" or blaming user error without even remotely enough info, but this plugin is ancient. It shouldn't be having these simple compatibility and setup problems, the currently most notable being with Java 15 and 16 (Dont even bother getting it if thats what you are running) which are not new and most .jars I've seen are actually warning for 1.17 losing support for anything below 16. I have had the plugin for nearly a month and no other paid plugin has ever given me these issues, the antihack-zealot plugins are easier to configure and control. Also the creators have a chronic case of justification syndrome which means they will probably try to respond to this with some nonsense like I've seen them use on others to try and discredit their bad reviews or again "explain away" the failings of this plugin. Just don't even bother.

the API doesn't work on converted maps from V4 to V5. asked a lot of times the developers and got no solution. I can't use the api so basically every plugin working with the api is useless.

API doesn't work when you upgrade from V4 to V5. on my test server, fresh generated plotworld, everything is fine but in my converted world everything is null.

I have Found a lot of Bugs und Java 16 because you do /p and the error starts many commands are not working at java 16 pls fix it

Best plot plugin in market and the only plugin you need to have a creative server with plots.
Support is good and documentation covers almost every questions you have.

Unable to automatically clear the land of players who have not been online for a long time

animals still not repaired, nothing is added by this update ... I recommend another plugin to use :)

Possibly the worst premium resource that I've bought in 3 years of creating minecraft servers, incomplete, bugged, bad design, if you want to change lang you have to replace some files and it doesn't translate everything, it has a rate system (like and dislike) but it is totally useles, you can do anything with that system, it is just a random number.

To be honest, if you guys wanted to get money from that resource, you should ask for it and keep free the plugin, cuase isn't worth waste money on this really disappointing plugin

No updates have been made for 3 months, lots of bugs that spoil the gameplay.
Turtles don't work.
Bees don't work.
Parrots don't work.
The fish don't work.
Players can't be damaged by mobs inside plots.
Regen all roads is not working.
And so I could go and replace ...
Support only refers to "Reporting Bugs" and that's it.
Alternatively, they advise you to fix the bug yourself and compile it yourself.
In general, I do not recommend buying this version at the moment.

This is a good plot plugin the issue i had was not the fault of the plugin but it was weird that it was saying errors about plots

I noticed that the p 1; 0 setowner player command cannot be executed in the console

Works great, the support takes some time to reply but they do, they helped me fix some bugs that I have, overall a good plugin

Discord Support still die. No Support there but 2 Admins online. Thats shit. I bought ist works Fine. But the Support is shit like a Moon rock

Easily deserves a 5 star rating. Keeps true to old PlotMe techniques and is without a doubt a mandatory plugin to purchase when in the market of creative, plot, prison servers. Few bugs for the massive size of the plugin, its to be expected. Would highly recommend purchase.

hello I find this amazing plugin and I will probably have put 5 stars if I will not get the error message "the current plot must have an owner to perform this action" Does anyone know how to fix it?

Some bugs (like /plots) but usually working well. Could have more settings, like for material.

The best plugin for plots, I would like in the future to have the possibility of downloading plots in the new versions.

Good plugin, if you can insert the function / plotcheck that would be great! : D Dasman can see when the player was last online or visited his plot. That would be a mega update

Very difficult to setup, road schematics don't update after you have saved and generated it, even deleting the schematic inside the config will load with the old schematic instead of the one saved. You have to make a new world if you want to use a new schematic. The world generation is slow and buggy, with random blocks missing sometimes. A player had their plot randomly reset and i had to restore it with coreprotect. This is not worth money for how hard it is to configure and the amount of serious bugs.

ok TEAM from PS5 now its over. My Developer report bug from my other review and now he is blockt. We have next bug and cant report. This version is so full of bugs. If YOU use /p kick, the Player was tp to "world" and you cant change is. WHY ? You want MONEY for this Plugin and fuck us with BUG REPORT BLOCK??? Realy??

Version 5 are better than 3 or 4. Thats good. But i need a full working Version 5 and not a new Version 6 in development with new bugs.
BUG REPORT: If you merge, you can dismantle streets. If you have a precious street like Endstone, you can destroy economy. Last update 1 month ago and so many bugs. Thats bad for an profession Server.
