If you do not use FreeMcServer.net to host your server this plugin will be of no use to you.

Installing:

Download the latest JAR version and upload it to your server

(Re)Start the server so the config generates

Open the plugin config.yml and update the following values
-
Set token (You can obtain this value from the "Assistant Plugin" menu of your control panel)

Set serverId (You can obtain this value from the "Assistant Plugin" menu of your control panel)

Save the config file
-
(Re)Start the server and check your console for a line saying [FMCS-ASSISTANT] Authentication accepted!, if you see this then the plugin is working

Customize the other configs to your liking and then restart the server to apply them
This plugin
has auto-update capabilities, this means you only have to install it once and it will auto-update when there are new versions
Config keys explanation:
performanceWarnings (true|false)-> Should we check for known performance issues on your server and notify you? (Not yet implemented)
renewalWarning (true|false)-> Should we notify you when the server is about to expire? (Permission is required, check next section)
renewalWarningMinutes (number)-> How many minutes before the server expires should we start sending out notifications?
renewalCheckIntervalMinutes (number)-> How frequently should we ask FreeMcServer.net how much time is remaining? (Min is 5)
renewalWarningText (string)-> Message to be sent when the server is about to expire (You can use colors with &, the placeholder {minutes} will be replaced by how many minutes remain before expiration)
Permissions:
freemcserver.expire.notify -> Receive the server about to expire message (Default to true to OPs)
