Ok, not a long time ago a hex color format was added, but it was really buggy(&[RRRR,GGGG,BBBB]). And later on the format &[RR,GG,BB] was added to be more consistent with other plugins.

Now, the formats &#RRGGBB and #RRGGBB are available!
Also the old format was removed from the plugin
