Against the advise of other I tried this plugin and as the others say it is useless, it does not work!! A player can edit a sign which breaks it and then they can access the chest.

Not good reviews at all, I have downloaded it but have not put it on my server after reading these comments. Author needs to do something to improve this plugin or it will die a sudden death.

This Plugin is in no way "optimized" at all, why? Well, as others have pointed out, you can simply remove the protection of a chest simply by editing the sign of another individual and removing all it's contents (a simple fix regardless), however, this itself proves the innerworkings of the plugin. For you to be able to remove the protection from a chest simply by editing the sign contents, that means that the "protection case" is stored in the sign itself as NBT data; quite long NBT data infact, instead of a database.

This over-reliance on NBT data can cause a problem with such a large quantity of chests; or really any claimed block within a single chunk. For these reasons, this plugin is highly counterintuitive.

With a minecart with hopper you can steal items and in 1.20.1 you can edit the protection sign

After a full look at it in 1.20.1, it appears that players can still edit the sign by right clicking on it, and remove the [Protect] tag, making the chest defenseless again.

So far it is working very well on 1.20.1, thank you! I still have to test it a bit more to make sure that everything works correctly, but otherwise it is just what I need.

Why does it not work for pressure plate, levers and buttons (players can still open doors / trapdoors without any problem, just put a button next to it, 2. add the option to add 2, 3 and 4 lines under the [Protect] Nickname of the player who is online in [] and thanks to that it would be possible to add players to chests / doors / trapdoors (no permissions with that just enable/disable in config)

Good locking plugin. Also a great thing that an author gives an option to lock containers from hoppers. Works good on 1.17. Makes a lag for first time of locking or opening the container after server restart, but after that all clear

It won't let you add other people to access the private chest adding to that there is no bypass permission. So if you have a group you want to open peoples private chests there is no way to do that. Adding to that ticket support is super slow and they don't even answer your questions and instead tell you to look at the plugin page when the solution wasn't even located there.

Really cool and functional plugin . Used without problems on a spigot 1.16.2 server. I recommend as a feature the addition of a maximum of lockable cases per player, perhaps a possible integration of GUI (perhaps in a version also for a fee) and possibly a systematic one to the list of game commands.

This resource is poor yet, but I get the fact that is new. Hope it gets even better than Lockette (That it is abandoned). I will give 5 stars as it protects chests correctly as it should and also to motivate the dev to continue the plugin.
