Despite stating it works on 1.20, it does not. Seems the discord link is gone. What a bad situation...

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY !!! | The worst plugin of all to make custom items, it has too many bugs, bugs, limitations and affects the performance of the server not to mention that the developer does not serve his clients, the discord server deleted it, bans people. It is the clear example of how to forget your users or steal their money. Use other plugins for your items, don't waste your time. The worst thing is that the developer is the creator of polymart so the page runs the same fate

do not buy this plugin. developers are not responding to any critical issue on this broken plugin. they abandoned this and disappeared.

I'm a developer and couldn't really wrap my brain around how on earth making custom modeled blocks worked considering that you can only apply CustomModelData to an item not blocks so i bought this to figure out how, When I started using this plugin i was met with a lot of troubles and the documentation is out dated but considering i had the general knowledge of how custom resourcepacks work i was able to manually fix the pack to show the correct model and texture. Besides the resourcepack that is generated by the plugin being wonky this plugin has worked flawlessly i personally only use a couple of the features and mainly use the API to use these custom blocks within my plugins and everything seems to work great and everything is quite simple once you do it once. Would recommend 100% unless you are getting this for the CustomModelData portion if you want to utilize that you should do some good research into how applying a custom texture to an item works prior to purchasing.

i used this plugin with minecraft 1.12.2 server version when it came out, i loved it.

sadly now nothing works as before (i use server version 1.19.2 spigot now)

discord server requires verified phone number in order to chat there (i lost my account with i registered my phone number so i have a new account) so no chance for me to chat in there

when i put resourcepack's direct download link into server properties file and start the server it says "could not download the resourcepack"

author isn't responding if you need help, all in one, can't recommen anymore

It's been really good up until now. The discords main supporter quit (Don't blame him at all. I probably would if I was in his position) And features still don't work like projectileHit and I have no way to contact the developer.

Great plugin! the automatic resource pack generation is amazing. This is definitely the best custom item plugin I've found.

I really love this plugin but only because I had differences with one of the moderators (outside the plugin community and without breaking the rules established by the plugin developer) I was banned 1 year ago without the right to enter the discord even though the mod leaked the plugin I'm still banned

I never leave reviews as almost ALL the plugins I acquire are great. No issues and if I ever do have issues relatively easy and quick Support. However, this Plugin's support is absolutely abysmal. I have had it for several days now and can't get it to properly load on my server. I also have been in the Plugin Discord for the same amount of time as I joined immediately following the issues. No luck however as I can't even get my VERIFICATION SUPPORT TICKET answered much less conversate with the general public in the server for help since the moderators are so completely useless. Terrible terrible support. I've even direct messaged the two Mods asking if they could answer my 3+ day old VERIFICATION TICKET. No luck. I would not recommend buying this plugin as $16 should be put towards better more productive actual responsive and helpful creators out there. The plugin itself is nice, If I was able to access it to its full ability. The support just isn't worth it!

I think this plugin has some great potential, making custom items withing MC sounds dope! Only problem is, there is a particular bug which I can not get support for. Asked it in the Discord server multiple times, no support. this goes for alot of users. I've seen alot of people being ignored for support. The support is literally terrible

This is not what you want when you pay 16USD for a plug-in.

Full plugin quite complex in my opinion the menu I hope that sometime the dev will improve, but this is still very good in resource packs or items with effects.

I will say this in the most sincere and honest way, this is one of the worst plugins i have bought, and here's why.
The plugin itself is ok, it has a lot, but A LOT of bugs that could be easily fixed and shouldn't be present in a 13$ plugin, i paid for a custom items plugin but all i got was a load of headaches and many months waiting for customer support.
Did i mention the customer support sometimes DOES WORSE THAN BETTER, yes the customer support is mostly null, i had to wait at least a month in 2 separate occasions just for the answer to be a link of the wiki. Oh yeah don't get me started on the wiki, the wiki is supper poorly written but somehow the one helper and dev always redirects you towards it, like its gonna help, trust me it wont, this plugin on several occasions delayed my server updates because of customer support, they choose to ignore you and prefer to rudely reply to other users that have may pinged them (which is prohibited somehow) i got more help from fellow users than anything else.
The situation was so bad that i had to buy another WAY BETTER custom items plugin.
I would say that this is a good plugin for beginners since it has a in game item editor, but no sometimes it decides not to work, and if it does you simply don't know how to fiddle with it CAUSE THERE'S NO INFO ABOUT NOTHING.
I cant stress enough the lack of obvious dedication to the plugin since that the guy that answers the most ISN'T EVEN THE PLUGIN CREATOR, i have talked with multiple plugin devs and always the owner answered, cause most of the times nobody except him knows the plugin best, but no, here if the helper doesn't know he will simply redirect you to the wiki.
To me its ridiculous how could someone mistreat so much the people that give them money for their product.
My conclusion is, lack of information, rude and sometimes silent helper, bad coding, and lots of "its in the wiki" is the perfect recipe for a bad and not worth it plugin.

Great idea of plugin but if you buy this DO NOT EXPECT support from their server discord. The wiki in my opinion is not done well (and also is useless because nothing works). Textures to set are the hell (same for the durability of the item). If you are able to get it working please enter the server discord and contact me (my nickname is the same).

Amazing Plugin, is however currently crashing my server. I was able to narrow it down to Custom Items. I believe this is a current version issue, it else wise always works great.

For more context, the server starts up successfully with no errors and then proceeds to shut down after successfully completing the startup.

Great plugin, friendly staff. Would definitely recommend to others. Super easy to use compared to anything else that has only a fraction of the potential.

This plugin is the best you can do so much with it. I will be honest, I've had a few issues with this plugin using 1.8 but the author has been very helpful and fixed any issues I've had. I'm sure the plugin works great on most version but if it doesn't, I'm sure you will get any issue you are facing fixed.

Do not buy I've had an issue with the plugin making it completely useless meaning I paid for nothing support is very slow I've not been helped at all nor have been given a reply about anything

Sometimes the plugin gives crack warning even though it is original. Although I tried many times, I could not change the armor toughness settings. Also in version 1.8 it gives too many warnings to the console and the server can crash.

This plugin promises a lot of things I've been looking for. I havent messed with it much so i cant really review it. but i do have a question for anyone with an answer... is there a marketplace where i can download player created custom items? maybe some downloadable yml files?

This is certainly, the best plugin for custom items out here.
Most plugins for custom items directly give you a lot of default items and allows you to customize them, but in a limited way. Most custom minecraft servers that are based on this are less "unique" since anyone could pay a few bucks to get the items they want and that's it.
Custom Items is way more powerful than that. It may not bring you a bunch of default items and, honestly, it is not easy to start creating items at first, especially if you're new to minecraft servers. It took me like two weeks to understand the plugin, but it was worth it.
How the plugin is built, is brilliant. Using handlers, actions and conditions makes your items more organised and easy to understand. With only this, you can create weapons that deal more damage in a certain world, food that give you effects, extremely powerful armors and many other things i can't think of. While that is, mostly basic, if you really want to make more powerful things, the plugin has variables and globals, that store information in items and players, respectively, with this you could make a sword that makes a big explosion every 5 hits, an item that tells you how many kill or deaths you have, and more. It even support script and drupi, that makes it even more customizable.

I recommend this plugin for people that really want to make their servers truly unique and really want to dedicate the time needed for it. Learning it is easy or hard depending how experienced are you in minecraft servers, but I learned knowing little, so it is not impossible.

This plugin is so difficult to configure. I watched several tutorial videos and it's just so above my head. I'm taking away an additional star because the Discord support weren't really helpful, some were a bit rude. They just refer to the wiki, which, in my opinion, felt convoluted and unfinished. For a paid plugin, I did expect a bit more support. As of right now, I personally wouldn't recommend this plugin unless you're a server expert and understand how to code your own items and understand what does what.

This Plugin is AMAZING Think about all the possibilities the first thing I wanted to do was make compressed cobblestone the dev helped me and it can be compressed 10x TIMES you can add NEW armor With Custom States Add NEW crafting recipes 10/10 So worth the money it was everything I was looking for and the discord is so helpful too

This plugin did everything I wanted! I never saw those possibilities before, not even mods passed this! The Dev is very friendly and my suggestion was implemented after 1 or 2 weeks! :D

Honestly this plugin is absolutely brilliant. I bought it and downloaded it not too long ago and the sheer amount you can do with it is huge. Not only can you create tonnes of custom weapons, tools, blocks, ores etc but you can then give them all lovely custom textures and apply functionality to all of them. The plugin comes with tonnes of 'handler' options which are like triggers for your items, allowing you to control what happens you when left click/right click/attack mobs/attack players/ craft the item etc etc. There's a very large variety of things you can do with the items you create and if that's not enough, it even has Skript support, so what you can create is really up to your imagination and coding skills!

On top of that, the Discord has been extremely friendly and supportive. Any questions I had were answered quickly by a bunch of kind and knowledgeable helpers, it really helped me get going! The Wiki is also good, and the developer is active and seems to quite often update the plugin.

Strongly recommend, probably one of the best (if not the best) plugin I've purchased.

Everything is going great in 1.16.3 too. If you don't know what to do and asks the developer or support team for help, you will mostly be helped directly.

Even since I've been working with the CustomItems plugin for months, I have to say that I still learn a lot. But I can only recommend it to everyone, because the more you learn / acquire knowledge - the more your, your or your server will be unique!

I also have to say that working with CustomItems is also fun. This is due to the well-structured wiki and the in-game creation of the items. Sure, modeling is also fun, but I actually like it most when you see what the specially created item can do!

I'm impressed and please keep it up! The support here is great and super nice!

Magnificent plugin. Everything works like a charm and my players love the customization I can put into items, goes well along with Questing too.

100% worth the money! There is a lot of potential with this plugin due to the amount of features it has. I haven't actually got to use a lot of it since I only use it to store/create items for ease of access and such. I heavily use its API for my own plugins which allows me to not have create items in those plugins.

This plugin is quite the powerful one allowing you to fully customize items to your pleasure with blocks as well. The developer of this plugin is by far the kindest and quickest at answering any questions I had about the plugin. I highly recommend anybody purchasing this plugin it's worth every penny and the developer really deserves it with the amazing support they give and just the plugin as a whole.

I bought the plugin for our server a few weeks ago. At first I had problems because I worked with the plugin in 1.12.2. But thanks to the active support and the advice given by the fantastic Discord team, errors that were justified by me were quickly rectified!

The people who work and support for this plugin have easily earned 5 stars!

And if I say it, it must be so. To me: I am a very skeptical person who likes to question everything and want to have it exactly! - But that also means that I also question myself, which is always irrelevant when it comes to troubleshooting!

Tremendously good plugin. The Discord support is phenomenal, if not from the dev himself, there's a few notable users that are always eager to go above and beyond to help, which is wonderful news considering the complexity of this kind of plugin. Video tutorials have been made in perfect, clear english, and the Wiki seems to get better and easier to understand every other day.

For the cost, this plugin is a steal for what it offers, but I absolutely recommend you join the Discord if you grab the plugin.

I normally don't review plugins, but this project is extremely underrated in terms of what it's capable of. It's amazing.
It does take a while to learn, but once you get the hang of it you can create some wonderful items.

Absolutely fantastic plugin! The developer is very responsive and willing to help out. The plugin itself is very powerful and you are able to do a lot with it if you're willing to spend a bit of time with it.

It's a great resource and a great addition to any server going for unique element. Can't praise it enough.

Hello! I would like to start off by saying this: This plugin is an absolute favourite for me. It allows you to create so many things that aren't normally possible, and for a server owner who's all about making their server unique, this is a MUST-HAVE! That being said, there are some features that I believe would make this plugin 10x more appealing to the average server owner and that's an In-Game editor. I've found that editing configuration files can become very tedious, and difficult. While for some, the payoff might be worth it (such as for me), however, I believe that the average player could be discouraged from purchasing this amazing resource due to it's (somewhat) complexity. Plugins like Boss and UltraCustomizer have content focused plugins, yet manage to pull off stunning in-game GUIs to make the editing process easier. The next logical step for this project is accessibility. I can almost guarantee that purchases would skyrocket if this plugin was more accessible. Now, I want to clarify that this plugin, despite its lack of accessibility, is still an absolute marvel. This review is serving also as a sincere suggestion to the developer, so that they could consider working on accessibility. I believe that an accessibility update would usher in a new era of this plugin, and skyrocket sales. This plugin is AMAZING, and is one of my all-time favorite plugins.

The creator of this mod works very hard and responds to questions and help requests very quickly and there is a great deal of functionality built in!

I had gotten the plugin awhile ago and have been using it on a lot of servers now as it's a very powerful plugin that is near limitless on what you can do with it, the dev of the plugin is still very much active on the plugin and from when I had a problem with it he was very active and willing to help with the problem until it was resolved.
I'm also posting this as I do have a request for a feature, being able to create custom items though smelting and not just crafting, as this will allow more expensive builds onto the already amazing custom block generation you can do and allow for custom ingots to be created.

Overall this plugin I feel really should have more people using it as it's such a powerful plugin in making your servers feel more customized and different to others.

Excellent piece of work here. Very flexible. I've had some ideas for my personal LAN server but not being a coder....I was unable to achieve my ideas. With this plug-in....it has made my ideas reality and given me new ideas for more cool features. Excellent documentation... and the Dev is Ultra Quick with support. Also open to suggestions. This is a great plugin I've been looking for a custom crafting plugin again I use to use a plugin but it's now outdated and it's great that this is working with 1.13.2 and having no problems with some plugins that add there own recipes. The config file doesn't seem to really need any changes by default unless you're using MySQL but other then that doesn't seem to be edited.

I would say as soon as I opened the example items I wasn't expecting so much for the items but after looking at it for a bit longer it doesn't seem to be that bad but if I could give a recommendation allowing people to create a crafting recipe in-game using a GUI and create a file off that then allow them to edit the file once it's been created (Would save a bit of time having to create a whole item file)

Also would just like to note that /customitem inspect seemed to of just given errors into the console and doesn't seem to work but other then all that this is a great plugin. Would love to see some of your other work in the future.
