I asked him several times BEFORE I purchase this product to see if it contain a feature I need. He never ever respond to my question. and yes, he was chatting on the text channel when I mentioned him and asked the question.
The plugin is good, but he seems to care more about money than customer support.

Does not work with 1.19, other than that it is a 5/5 and worth the money. Tried to ask the dev in DC if/when it will be updated but did not get a reply

In the new version of minecraft, the map level is lower than 0, it may be negative. When I am on the level of e.g. -50 and I die, the chest is created on the 4th level in the wall.

I dont know if its supposed to be PRO DeathChest , like the title page says, or DeathChest PRO like the jar file says, but it is a great plugin.

A must plugin in your server if you don't want your players to lose their items. Works in 1.18.1

I have had no issues better than other plugins I have tried. Plus now it supports 1.18

If you've seen the recent "X-Mas sale" just look at how the updates have been poors.

I remember having issues and they were never repaired. On my server, 1 year later, my players were still finding "Death Chests" that were bugged and never disapeared, but just the Holograms, not the chest.

There is other plugins like this one that are free and better.

If you need support, you'll never get from the Discord.

Discord link is broken. It works on 1.18 but spams some errors on console. Would be willing to see a bit more activity and support from the developer!!

There is no support and the feature set is quite bad for a premium plugin. There are a few game breaking bugs that have been there since early 2020. Don't waste your money on this plugin. If the developer decides to continue development then I will change my review accordingly.

A really good plugin for an SMP+ and good support from the Dev. Easy to use and configurate. The function of the plugin works perfectly and if you find any bug, you can report it into his discord, and in a couple of days, it gives an update that fixes that bug.

Dev was super responsive on Discord and was able to help me through my issue even though it turned out to be a completely unrelated issue. The plugin itself works prefectly and is a very good addition to any server :)

A very easy to config plugin and in general the in-game environment is very nice. I would recommend it for its price!

I went to DeathChestPro, from free plugins. Some of the free plugins were buggy and not reliable, causing players to lose their items. I don't like the idea of a player losing their items and not being able to restore it (in case of bugs).

We been using DeathChestPro since July and it works pretty well. I submitted two requests (one is to bypass a Spigot bug that impacts death chest and another is to fix an exploit). Both bugs were fixed.

What PikaDude said about the verification system is also true, leading to more frustration.

I also just found out that if you die due to using a bed in the nether and the explosion from that no chest spawns at all which only lets you access this "chest" (which is not present) via the remote way described before.

Ignore the two 1 star ratings, you can easily disable TP to check with permissions and config file or a command blocker plugin. Read the wiki!!

A very disappointing plugin. I migrated from somebody elses free plugin to this one with the hopes that this would allow for more customisation and also allowed for experience to be stored as well. This plugin is honestly incredibly disappointing.

- There is no way to disable players from remotely accessing the items from their DeathChest, at that point, what's the point of the plugin. You might as well just enable KeepInventory and save yourself some money.

- DeathChests destroy blocks that they spawn on, particularly beds, which allows people to grief people's bases simply by dying. The other person is also unable to remove the DeathChest as well since it must despawn naturally or wait for the owner to claim it.

- Holograms do not align with the chest sometimes and are often offset by a block or so which is quite annoying.

- The glass cage idea seems good in theory, but if it spawns in a protected chunk (using worldguard or something), then the chest cannot be accessed by the player by clicking on it.

- The verification system in the Discord server is broken, meaning I cannot get support. There were over 5 people already waiting more than 24 hours to try and get in to get support over this stupid plugin, but we're all stuck behind the verification system with lack of permission to talk in the DeathChest support channel because of it.

This plugin was a downgrade from the previous free one made by someone else I was using. Despite it promising more features and customisation, it is full of oversights and issues and because of this, I cannot recommend this plugin at all, especially since it's paid.

Amazing Dev, Made a simple request about remote accessing chests for admin use and 10 minutes later it was implemented. That amount of dedication to users is something that is greatly appreciated to plugin users. would give 10 stars if possible.

Super plugin works very well in 1.15.2 I recommend this dev, it is very responsive for problems encountered .. even after the tests on my dev server. I encountered no problem. Now it is active on my server and the players are very satisfied with their work. dsl je parle Français.

This plugin has been pretty great. The downside is that sometimes a hiccup in the server makes it so the hologram stays up and it takes a little effort to remove (you have to kill all armorstands in a radius around you). Oh, and admins can't look at people's deathchests if there is another kinda server hiccup

Also, about the dev "abandoning the project", He has said on his discord that he's dealing with some sorta life stuff. It's been only two months, chill out guys.

Dont buy the Plugin for now... The Developer is inactive and shows no motivation about updating and fixing the plugin

The concept of it is great but its very buggy and i had to remove it hot fast. It will leave text and chests behind they take deleting every armour stand to get rid of.

Ultimately the best DeathChest plugin out there, developer is really friendly when reporting any issues found, quick to fix and very supportive.

The Premium version says 24/7 support, I have submitted my issue 10 days ago and author has still not fixed my issue. He no longer replies. Made no effort to fix the error where players can't open their own DeathChest. I am not sure if it's him not wanting to help or him not understanding English correctly. Not going to lie, when I first got the plugin I was a little disappointed in the major bug that broke it on 1.14.4. If you died, itd drop the items and have them in the chest. This problem was reported on discord and within 2 hours it was fixed. Amazing dev, works hard and listens to the people actively. Definitely recommend.

This is an okay plugin honestly. I have a hard time recommending it because there is almost always a bug. Players have a hard time accessing chest and will lose items sometimes because it gets stuck in the ground, armor stands disappear now from players, holograms will not delete after a chest is gone, and now items drop from players inventory as well as duplicate inside the chest. Personally, do not think it is worth the price tag for the hassle it creates during patches and makes players angry when stuff like this occurs. I would happily change my review if there was not a bug every time it updated.

Extremely buggy. Never just works. Still leaves behind holograms, doesn't spawn half the time, tries to put chests on top of the nether roof, spawns void chests in the middle of the void, and countless other issues that prevents me from being able to use it to replace death mechanics for my server.

The plugin is good but the hologram won't go away in my world even if i delete the plugin...

Used to be one of my favorite plugins. Dev was active and offered great support, fixing little bugs I found very quickly.

Not sure what has happened, but there are three or four fairly serious bugs I have reported to the dev on Discord over the past three weeks that have gone without a reply or acknowledgement whatsoever. I had to remove the plugin from my server.

I'll change this review if I see some support being given again and some of the issues patched. Until then, I would avoid.

Although the plugin does have its fair side of bugs, the author is happy to work his damn hardest to fix them, amazing plugin, amazing support. keep up the good work my dude!

Plugin is working perfectly in 1.14.2, needed almost no configuration for it to work. People can open the chests even in protected zones which is perfect.

I don't normally rate one stars but this plugin has proven worthy. 3 weeks ago, I reported a bug, a two duping bugs that made me have to disable the plugin. Fast forwarded now, developer is on Discord chatting but still refuses to acknowledge the bug or fix it.

The plugin is still disabled because it can't be used due to the duping bugs. Buy at your own risk.

This plugin helps prevent my friends from rage quitting when they die but don't remember where. Love it.

Works perfect with both Paper and Spigot 1.13.2. If it is not working for you, start looking for your plugins to find which one is causing the problem.

This plugin is very interesting, it can prevent items from being sprayed everywhere. It also allows players to find it in an easier and fun way.
In 1.13.2, when the player is killed by a zombie, the zombies picking up their belongings will disappear. This plugin may solve this big problem.

When the plugin solves some problems and supports more protection plugins, it will be perfect.
