Plugin is nothing special. The only thing going for it is its big choice of trolls you can do. Borderline unusable GUI, if I want to remove a certain troll I have to remove all, a bunch of errors randomly spamming my console. Considering I am on a supported version some trolls don't even work as the NMS is not setup properly. Still giving it 2 stars as some trolls still work well.

the last version the plugin is properly supported on is 1.18 if it is run on anything later then the gui will most likely bug out and some trolls not work. plugin is abandoned and will not be getting anymore updates

After testing this plugin on a closed server, I found it completely unusable.
1. There are no permissions, even though the description says there are.
2. When you do any troll on another player, that player receives a chat message about the troll. It shows this plugins name, and even advertises their Discord.

The version here on spigot does not yet fully support 1.19 so there are issues with that. The pre releases on discord do support 1.19 and may fix your issues. I will be back to developing the plugin very soon and will look into your reported issues

I'm not sure what you mean. The plugin doesn't do what you are saying. It's been used on thousands of servers and I have not ever received a report about what you are saying. If this is actually a real review and a legitimate issue then can you please let me know more either on discord/PM or the discussions page so we can find out what's causing that.

The plugin will work on 1.16 however I'm not sure whether all the trolls will work. I'll test this myself and get back to you.

EDIT: I have confirmed that the plugin does work on 1.17 and 1.16 however the demo troll does not work on those versions.
1.18+ is recommended for the plugin to work properly.

Hi, the plugin only works fully on the latest version. It may work down to 1.14 but some trolls may not work. The plugin will not support anything lower than that because of the large amount of code changes. I'd need to recode the plugin for every version or make the plugin 3 times larger than. Sorry about that but thanks for the 5 star review.

The lag is most likely a problem on your end, something with the TPS or server hardware.
I am also working on fixing the issue where the coffin dance troll doesn't remove its blocks. The cage troll was purposely designed not to remove itself on untroll, only to allow the player to break out of it, however I can add an option in the config for whether to get rid of the cage on untroll or leave as how it is. This should added and coffin troll should be fixed in the next update, whenever I have time to fix it.

Hi, thanks for the review.
Essentials is an (no pun intended) essential part of this plugin as it uses several APIs and hooks into Essentials for many trolls. While it is possible to use without Essentials we don't recommend that, there will be many errors as you stated if you don't use Essentials.

EDIT: The plugin now supports CMI and other essentials like plugins

Hello, the lag which you say happens when you type /troll could be due various reasons, your server is either slow whether it be processing, cpu, TPS or a whole lot of factors, or your computer is slow, it could also be due to you being on 1.16.1 but i doubt that. I personally have not had any issues with lag and others have not had issues with lag too.

This plugin is cool but the rickroll thing is rlly buggy make it so when they click done it stops the troll bc if they leave it breaks thier game when they rejoin and they cant do anything

Thanks for the review! I'm working on fixing the trolls that don't work on 1.16, they're just a little harder to fix due to 1.16 breaking them completely. They'll be fixed soon though

EDIT: Trolls that were broken on 1.16 such as world loading, credits and demo menu have been fixed now on version 2.1.4+ :)

Love it! Its a ton of fun. Other troll ideas....

- Summon an item and put the victim into gm spectator so they "become an item"

- Drop the player into the void, making a pit underneath them?

- Annoy the player with sounds, preferable villager humming

- Summon tons of silverfish with weakness, so they can't hurt the player
