Version: 3.5.5
I recently integrated the DeluxeHub 3 plugin into my Minecraft server, primarily to facilitate player movement between the lobby and the survival world. The plugin successfully fulfills this basic function. However, as I delved deeper into its array of features, I encountered limitations that led to a reduction in their overall utility for my server's specific needs.
The plugin’s "disabled-worlds" feature, while initially promising, presented a perplexing issue. When setting 'invert' to true, it inconsistently recognized the worlds I intended to exclude from the server selection option. This resulted in an ever-expanding list of worlds in my configuration, which was far from ideal.
One of DeluxeHub's appealing aspects was its promise of an all-in-one solution for scoreboards, tablists, and announcements. Unfortunately, this potential was undercut by restrictive customization options. For instance, I wanted the scoreboard and tablist to be absent from the lobby, and announcements to be exclusive to the survival world. The plugin, however, doesn’t offer the granularity needed to implement these preferences. You're left with a binary choice: either enable a feature globally or disable it entirely in a specific world.
The hologram feature, while basic, functions adequately, but the lack of command autofill is a noticeable drawback, extending the time needed for setup.
An additional point of frustration was the lack of responsive support. Seeking assistance for these issues in the developer's Discord channel yielded no response, leaving me to navigate these challenges independently.
In conclusion, while DeluxeHub 3 shows promise with its range of features, it falls short in customization flexibility. This limitation, combined with the lack of accessible support, dampens the overall effectiveness of the plugin for server administrators seeking nuanced control over their server's features. It's a serviceable plugin for basic needs but might disappoint those looking for more tailored functionality.
