We do not send anything to other servers except our stats-system. The here shown address is not our stats-system. From your location (russia) its highly possible, that you are a victim of a man-in-the-middle-attack. Our stats system is using the ip 45.135.203.22. LoginPlus does not use any other ip/service

Hey erstmal gutesPlugin,
ist es möglich in das Plugin eine Funktion einzubauen, dass man sich ingame ausloggt und sich dann wieder anmelden kann(in der Config einstellbar) und für Server die auf Premium laufen eine Funktion hinzuzufügen, die je nachdem ob man Premium oder Offline-Mode ausgewählt hat eine Permission abfrägt - bsp.:
Offline-Mode - Plugin so wie es momentan ist
Online-Mode - Passwort wird nur noch abgefragt, wenn man diese Permission hat.
Wäre nett, wenn du das hinzufügen könntest.

The plugin could be improved, but there are a few things I would like to add.

MondoDB database support should definitely arrive right away!

IP address recognition feature or Auto-Login feature should be added for large servers.

thank you for your feedback. Ip address recognation is already implemented, see changelog from the last update. MongoDB-Support is something, we could add, please open in that case rather a issue on our issue-tracker(Button on the plugin-page) instead of asking here. This is more likely to get added then.

Honestly, this plugin was confusing as hell the first time I got to know it (version 3.0.0), but after a short, while I came to understand how it works, and actually, it is really good, it is simple, effective, and really Plug'n'Play type of thing. The big downside is a lack of a beginner's guide on how it works and why it feels like it doesn't even work the first time you set it up. And one minor thing is the default hash algorithm, I personally prefer and use BCrypt on all of my projects and in an enterprise environment, but I would be just nitpicking now. Overall, really solid work, and I hope you will support this and have a great time with this and future projects.

Hello, thank you very much for feedback. Yeah a beginners guide is definitely the next step. Argon2 was used, as it is much more secure then bcrypt and the better algorithm, see also this 2 year old stackoverflow-thread: https://security.stackexchange.com/questions/193351/in-2018-what-is-the-recommended-hash-to-store-passwords-bcrypt-scrypt-argon2. From a security-perspective its much more important to go with the time and so we have enabled argon2 by default, also if it might take a bit more RAM.

I installed this for my cracked SMP and followed the directions to type in a password to register. When i did, however, nothing suceeded and i was still stuck in the verification process. I followed exactly what the tutorial told me to do.

A nice plugin, but definitely not "secure login" - SHA hashes are quick to calculate, and thus very unsafe for password storage, let alone MD5 (which is utterly horrible). Consider Argon2 or 14-round bcrypt. Other than that, glad to see AuthMe-R alternatives out there!

please contact us next tme via discord, dm or in the discussions first.

We have now added support for Argon2 and Bcrypt. MD5 is a old fallback-method, but yeah it is evil and out of date. In near future we will also add salts to all passwords for more security. Argon2 is now the default encryption, so the plugin should be more than secure now.

If you want it even more secure you can now also edit the encryption-settings for argon2 like cores, memory and parallelism, same for bcrypt with rounds.
