The plugin is true to the original, has added wonderful new features, and the developer is receptive to feedback and bug reports, fixing issues rapidly.

This is a banging plugin. It's an awesome concept and it works. I hope in time, someone makes a dope and fitting resource/texture pack that matches the brews that we can make.

plugin is great. works well on 1.20. but sakura barrel is not supported please update. Chinese translate is not complete, i can help.

Pros: Neat idea. Technically works as a plug and play plugin. I've seen this plugin work 10 years ago.

Cons: Inactive developer, no support or discord, overly complicated and messy configuration, features it says it supports don't work, permission issues, rarely updated.

Love the mod, but there is one thing I would like to know. Is there a place where I can find all the effects that I can add to the brews in the config. I've noticed that it doesn't recognize Strength, Resistance, Luck, & Saturation as effects. But I noticed something, in the hot chocolate suggested drink, the effect haste is labeled as fast_digging. I am wondering if there are other effects like this one where they are not named their in-game effects but something else

Im so happy that the dev came back and updated the plugin! My community feels the same way since brewery has given us fun times and definitely created wonderful memories in the server! If you're planning to make a chill and community based server this is definitely the best plugin you can have! I just wish there's a discord server for this plugin.

The plugin in itself is great, yet I find the lack of documentation and support lacking. Currently only default recipes work for me as an example and all custom recipes where I used cocoa beans and sugar either turns into coffee or chocolate brew.
Apart from that it works like intended.

Excellent plugin! I have used this for years and can't believe I'm still playing with this on 1.18. Very powerful plugin and provides a great deal of depth to a server of any type. The mechanics are solid and has never given my any problems, YML errors are handled and displayed in console and when you reload (why doesn't everyone do this?!)

I got it to work in 1.16.1. Installing it out of the box causes distillation to not work, but if you delete the config file and reload, it will generate a new one, subsequently fixing the error.

Yeahh, Ich liebe dieses Plugin seit Jahren. Leider lief es dann eine ganze Weile nicht mehr. Auch das es keine Möglichkeit gibt, es für BungeeCord zu nutzen war echt schade. Jetzt sehe ich, das es bald für BungeeCord kommt. Das wäre Mega Geil. Ich denke, das sollte doch gar nicht so schwer sein oder? Du speicherst ja alle zustände in einer Datei. Wenn du sie in einer MySql speicherst, kannst du sie immer abrufen, somit wäre das Problem weg, egal in welcher "Welt oder welchem Server" man ist. Ich würde dir dann direkt ein paar schöne Euros überweisen. liebe Grüße und weiter so :-)

Ignore that 2-star review! Because of brew data in 2.0, you can now copy items. In addition, CUSTOM ITEM SUPPORT! This was previously one of the best plugins on Spigot with one of the best ideas, but now it's easily 5x better! One of the best additions to any Survival/RPG server, or even Skyblock!

the plugin doesn't handle custom items, heads or even some spawned in ( from other plugins ) items. It is extremely limited , you can't spawn in items yourself because each item is unique.

Amazing plugin, my players are in love with it. Creating secret brews is so much fun, all the players get so into it. Plugin author is so helpful, responds right away if there any issues at all!

Awesome plugin! I've used it for so many of my servers. It would be awesome if there was some sort of way to make a splash or lingering potion, obviously in an expensive way

The plugin is a good idea, but it doesn't handle custom items, nor heads. It is extremely limited in scope, and doesn't allow for spawning-in of items for Ops, because each item is unique, although if you make each item you can copy them. There's a lack of customization, and expandability, which I would prefer, but I otherwise appreciate the plugin.

Everything's great about this plugin. The level of customisation with the recipes and how lenient they can be. The depth of the brewing process. The use of cauldrons. Even the really neat design of the barrels, and how seamless they are to use. That's not even mentioning becoming drunk, which is surprisingly fun.

It's such a simple concept, but it's been executed brilliantly.

Definitely worth the time to set custom recipes, If i could add one feature it'd be to auto generate a book for a recipe through a command by looking at its proprieties in the config (or another way to explain recipes)

but other than that, I have been closely following this plugin since 2014 ;p awesome ideas !

This is a whole new kind of fun in Minecraft - you HAVE to try it! Ever wanted a change up and maybe a reason to NOT have to get to work on all your unfinished builds? Do you like science? Then this is it. It will HINT at how you came close to brewing something right and makes you have to keep trying new recipes and fermenting times and aging. When players nail a recipe it will feel like THEIR recipe. This plugin is well thought-out, executed perfectly, and I just think every server should have it.

Genius Plugin, This is absolutely genius. Very fitting on my Role-play/ open-world exploration server.

Still works in 1.9. Popular with players, who love having drunken bar fights and getting so drunk, they wake up on the tavern roof, outside the casino, up tree and sometimes in the middle of the hedge maze. Fantastic plugin!

This plugin is fantastic, it adds a ton of content for any server with far better and more interesting brewing mechanics than vanilla Minecraft. It can really add to a roleplay server since you have the ability to create your own brew recipes. It overall creates a new area of work for players to explore and perfect, and in the end creates quite a bit of humor after players drink their brews. 5/5

Brewery creates an interesting (albeit not exceedingly useful) way to create new potions based on alcoholic drinks with intricate and fairly humorous effects depending on how much is consumed. New forms of gameplay are made by building structures and different drinks can be made in the configuration for full customization. The aging mechanic is fairly useful in between mining trips. It's biggest feature is of course the roleplaying aspect. It's very enjoyable and great for developing new types of buildings and roleplays. Overall, excellent.
