For 1.20.4+, I recommend using this fork (of a fork) of the plugin https://github.com/tbm00/PlayTime

The devs could add an option to exclude players or groups from this plugin counting the time they are on the server. Or an option to reset players time on the server.

Last minecraft update [ 1.20.6 ] broke this plugin because it updated from java 18 to java 20 i think

Great plugin takes the playtime stats directly from the vanilla stats file i think, so the plugin works perfectly.

I like this plugin, but every time a player disconnects from the server, it makes an error on the connsole because the scoreboard is using the placeholder

Really good plugin. The problem is, that my placeholder isn't correctly hooking with the plugin. When I use /papi ecloud download And the List are: Player, PlayerList, PlayerTime. Please update the hook and it's gonna be Ok :)! Appreciate the hard work

Great plugin! It's lightweight, works as expected and is a pretty nice addition to your minecraft server, specially the top 10 list of players

In order to display the top 3 players, you have to [install all the dependencies] change the # to an actual number and create each line e.g: %playtime_top_#_name% to %playtime_top_1_name%

The players have to join AFTER INSTALLING THE PLUGIN to appear in the Hollographic display, otherwise you will se the placeholder instead of the player name/time (%playtime_top_#_name%),

The total play time will be counted from the first time the player joined the server (time before installing the plugin WILL be counted)

in order to auto-update you have to add {speed} before each line, you can check the possible speed values in the HolographicExtension page
E.G
{slowest} %playtime_serveruptime% will update the server uptime every 10 seconds

I would like to show the playtime in hours, or in some other single unit. I would like the playtime message to be like this:

or
PlayTime: 3.61d

So What I would suggest, is to add %playtime_hours% and %playtime_days%.

Well since you're getting player's playtime data from the world you can then pass that data to the database and save it there and so it will allow bungeecord servers to be able to use this plugin and have overall playtime, but it's your choice what you want to do with your plugin, anyway it's a great plugin and I'm happy that it's updated to the latest version.

Needs bungeecord/db support. Playtime across a network is crucial nowadays, and for a plugin with papi support.

I am genuinely surprised this is not already a feature as I have sql support for strikepractice, featherboard, litebans, essentials eco (plugin addon), luckperms, and many more.

Nice plugin! But I would also like a permissions node like others have been saying. Right now only Operators can use this plugin. Might be just me, but I can't find a way to make other people use it. I do not use permission plugins on my server, due to it only being a friends only server. But playtime would be nice to check now and then :)

I want your PlaceHolder to be on ScoreBoard when I play to the timestamp it should be hours and minutes rather than hours, minutes, seconds like Statis Time and when you play to the date it should show the date and time, not 1 pile like it up there

Players need to have the permission playtime.check for them to be able to check play times. This doesn't work if you don't have a perm plugin, or you are not OP.

Where to reset the time? I deleted all Data files and there is still the same time :D nice work!

i cant add it to my scoreboard. i used the placeholder and have the extensions downloaded and everything, %time% only shows up to 24 hours then resets back to zero. but the plugin works perfectly! i just want to add the playtime to the scoreboard. I dont really know how active this developer is but if he/she is active then please read this and help me fix this or add a feature that fill fix this please! this is the perfect plugin but i really dont know why it is not working with the scoreboard.

Was mich überascht hat, es zählt sogar die Zeit mit die Spieler schon gespielt haben bevor das Plugin drin war!

Das einzige negative. Auf meinem Server schien es, als könnte jeder sich die Spielzeit ansehn selbst ohne die Permission.

It shows the playtime of a player. It does exactly what i wanted.
What surprised me was that it count the playtime before the installation of the Plugin too!

Just one negativ thing what happens on my server.
It seems to be that the permission isnt needed to check players playtime.
But it is nothing dramatical, so its still 5 Stars.

Great plugin! My players love it! I wish it were possible for admins to add time to a player's playtime so I could add it on servers that have been up for a while and keep their playtime accurate.

No configuration was needed, it worked exactly as intended (didn't start everyone at 0 hours, instead leveraged the Vanilla time played).
As others said, PLEASE ADD OFFLINE SUPPORT!!! I am using this to track staff apps to see if players got to minimum 20 hours. With this I currently would have to wait until the player comes online.
