This was really helpful on my server, it didn't bother my luckperms on my other servers, so this was fine! This plugin is amazing and I highly recommend if you have a network, you gotta use this.

There are error's in my bungeecord console when i use the command "/bp help", permissions doesn't work of many plugins.

Before i loved BungeePerms but now, i hate it.

Does not work with Spigot Plugins. Nobody can Play on 3 Servers now. This is the worst permission Plugin ever used. It took me 6 to have Groups in my Database. I am very unsatisfied and would rate everybody to chose another Plugin and also rate @dev to remove it from here

Many people do not want to go to Github and download the BungeepermsBukkit plugin for Spigot.

Switched to this from PEX and so far enjoying it greatly! PEX was deleting permission nodes from random players and groups, I look forward to using this permission plugin more and more!

Its a great plugin, it just needs some edge smoothing.

Im not going to lie its a bit hard to configure at first but after you figure it all out, it works like a charm.

I noticed some people are having issues with permission synchronization. To fix that you have to enable bungeemode on the spigot server (spigot.yml) and enable ip_forward in bungee (config.yml).

Also for those confused about mysql2, its the normal mysql just its for versions above 2.6.

Suggestions:
- BungeeCord permissions doesn't work with inheritances, please fix.
- Minus permissions does only work as user permissions, not on groups.
- Command "/bp <group/user> <name> prefix" should take more than one argument as prefix, since many people want to have space between the rank and the username. Example: "/bp group Moderator prefix &f[&c&oModerator&f] &6&o"

The idea is good. But it's very bad implemented. The groups don't sync correctly and my network went to "pinging" after I used /bungeeperms reload. Probably a infinite loop or a lock.

Better than PEX! StandAlone or Bungee, It's my favorite Permissions Plugin! Keep up the Awesome Work!

How the heck do you set this up, permissions aren't working at all, Default ranks don't work and the YAML saving doesn't work, It connects to mySQL but my ranks still don't work and can't do jack in console with all the errors going on to add a rank

Its a good plugin but the 3.0 alpha is a bit to buggy mainly when you try enabling uuid authentication. for now im going to stick with 2.6. hopefully version 3 comes out of BETA.

The plugin is purely buggy, commands don't work, the support is purely awful, it spams my console with "MySQL is not supported please use MySQL2", and to top it off it has no function to have 2 backends.

PLEASE add a forum-server member group link or bridge. When my users register on my site it sets the to the registered group on the site. Used to use Community Bridge Plugin, but it is not compatible with Bungee servers.

If you add this feature this will be the most fully integrated permissions plugin, and will become an absolute necessity for bungee-cord server owners.

I honestly am getting extremely fed up with BungeePerms and would switch at the first opportunity. This problem is only the latest in a string of errors, bugs, and countless headaches that BungeePerms has produced. My beef is when bugs are reported, the developer spends weeks trying to fix them. The negative permission node problem was reported months ago, and the only update we've received since then is "currently searching for the bug."

I am writing again because I find it strange that you cannot promote anyone who is not online in the server. I try to promote a friend when he is not online, but it says 'The Player XXX does not Exist.'. I test it out and apparently you need to have the player online in order to promote he or she. This is an amazing plugin and works almost like PEX but with extra functionality such as server based permissions. The only criticism I will give, is it needs better documentation such as providing explanations of ladder & weight, the difference between 'display', 'prefixes' and 'suffixes', and what you mean by "BungeePerms DOES NOT add PREFIXES/SUFFIXES anywhere, it provides them only". Also like other plugins it would be great if you could add explanation text to the config.yml file so we no what things we can change.

In terms of Bukkit/Spigot servers can the BungeePermsBukkit ONLY connect to the MySQL database setup in the config.yml on BungeeCord, or will it look at the permissions.yml file onto the BungeeCord and pass it through to the Bukkit/Spigot server(s)?

Its not updated and has lots of errors..

How can i use it whit my Spigot server? i installed, the Bukkit version on my server and the Bungeecord version on my bungeecord, iam using YAML backend on my bungeecord, and YAML on my spigot, do i need to use the same MYSQL? or does it interact whitout database? i cant get my prefix to work on spigot, and iam using bungeetablistplus, there is the prefix working Fine

Are you going to add timed permissions or timed groups so you can define a time with the command when the group-permissions for a user expires ?
