Good plugin sad that developer ignored problems and suggestions


Example I won't give player skinsrestorer.command.* because he can change someone skin, I wrote suggestion to make this per permission - suggestion left 2 weeks ago nobody want reply

The plugin is beautiful since it exists but please focus on making your databases right, there is a lot of data redundancy and there is no relationship between the data. Now connecting SkinRestorer with mysql is horrible, there is no relationship table between users without uuid and their skins when the plugin is logically made for offline servers.

This plugin is really great, but I occasionally prompt Eclipse-related errors on Velocity, sometimes not, OCD is so uncomfortable...

It's a nice plugin, but it gets an error on Velocity3.3#389. I don't know if Velocity3.3#389 is not compatible or the plugin is not compatible. I wish it could be fixed sooner.

I am Premium and using this for my own server. But some servers uses it too cuz they accept crack. Not my case. But I can't switch back to my own skin. So this plugin was nice. Today it's full bullshit and crap.

Simple, full compatibility, no problem, just excellent!

If you need your skin and you have server with "online-mode: false" this is best idea!

This plugin is so cool and you can get creative on using it

like you can setup a room in your server and use it as wardrobe for skins so players can come and get for example super heroes customs. (note: you'll need for example a sign command or other plugin)

When bungee mode is activated, it is impossible to configure the text in the menu (on the spigot server) because the plugin uses standard message settings values.

This plugin is so useful and it works fast and its very light, i had a problem with my skin and thanks to the discord support i found out it wasnt even the plugin, it was the other player's client, very fast reply in the discord and very nice, what a good plugin

It works just as it is. Waterfall-proxy and 1.19 paper servers - work perfectly. I had an issue but mostly because I'm not a really smart person. All is solved in discord support and all is good :)

Be sure, that this is the only skin-management plugin you may ever need.

Now, it does its work, it's great and causes no lag.

The player skull in gui can be droped into inventory on waterfall servers. And it is just one of the issues during past 1 year. I don't think the plugin is stable. If the author improve the experience on bungee I will consider to re-rating it

The only thing I'd love to be added is placeholderAPI support or the adding of %uuid% and %player% placeholders for default skin urls. the plugin is good but after installing the plugin getting connection handler lag

Unnecessary updates are constantly coming to the plugin. It is not nice to receive so many updates to a plugin. I want to keep my server the latest version, but updates should not come unless necessary.

This plugin is almost perfect, the performance is amazing, the only "bad" thing I can get is that if I want the faces of the skins appear in the dynmap can not when I use mysql in my network, I do not know if it is a problem of skinsrestorer or dynmap but it is not something that keeps me awake at night, honestly it is very good plugin.

Very good plugin, I really like being able to see my skin on cracked servers and being able to change skin in game with a simple command. I also really like BungeeCord support, so I don't need to set skins on every individual server.
The only complaint I would have is that sometimes, the skin doesn't get reset when I run /skin clear.
I recomend this plugin to everyone who needs/wants these features.

I love this plugin it's easy to use and intuitive, one feature I'd ask to be added is MySQL support that would give you the current skin players are using.

When i use it with EssentialsX it lags the server, and happens when i teleport to another world, die or join the server

As of version 14.0, the "semi-premium" version that works together with the compatibility with "SkinsRestorer" stopped working on my netwkor. Therefore, a premium player is not correctly recognized from a craked player.

Only works up to "SkinsRestorer" version 13.8.9

It is not a problem with my configurations since I have checked it for errors on my part and I found that the error occurs thanks to the versions 14.0.0, 14.0.1 and 14.0.2 of "SkinsRestorer" not working correctly with bungeecord in spigot.

It's good but I turned off update checker, and I'm still having spam in my console about new updates, users joining my server are complaining about the update messages being shown on joining.

Although many people criticize many things, I give a good rating since people's comments are being taken into account to improve the plugin, many people criticize the decisions of some updates but do not know in detail everything that leads the developers to take specific decisions, but in general, I like the support for SkinsRestorer users. Thanks for what is essentially a free but premium quality plugin!

Reaches all of my expectations, never had a problem with it.
I love how it's as simple as you download it, put it in your plugins folder, and launch the server. It's almost automatic.
However that doesn't mean that the configuration is lacking, au contraire, the plugin is extensively configurable, but isn't hard to configure it thanks to team's dedication to explain each line in an easy to understand way.
TL;DR I love this plugin

Skin restorer is way better than change skin. They are smiliar in commands but skin restorer just has no bugs. Perfect.

Update it to 1.16.2 please. It's really great and nice plugin, and it can resore skins on many ways [ links - names ] and maybe more.

I used this plugin for 2 years and it never disappointed me. It works well on bukkit, spigot, paper, BungeeCord, Waterfall. You can custom it well with the permission system, you have a GUI who function too on the proxy and change the skins instantly (but remind to put the plugin on the server too for using these function). All the function perfectly work on latest update.

Doesn't Use UUID and saves files with player names and the people who make it are lazy and just giving a workaround instead of trying to work on a solution. Fix it to get a better rating if fixed I give 5 stars

I used to use this plugin in 1.13 spigot,it works well,but when i use the 13.7.9 in 1.15,it doesn't work.it not created file in plugins,i though the jar i download has been corrupted,but everytime i download ,the jar just 5mb,i don't know how it happend.

Very good skinrestorer plugin. I've had some issues because of the rate-limiting by the sesion servers, but the plugin developers were very helpfull and they helped me to fix that issue (increase SkinExpireAfter). A few days ago they were very helpfull trying to help me with my issue (I didn't have default skins enabled on my config...).

This is a very good solution for offline servers! Now i can use skins and heck i can even change it in game!

This plugin is very good and useful. And the Support is fast and helpful. However, not all minecraft launchers work

Cool.Yesterday I said that this is a good plugin, putting 4 stars...today I still say that this is a good plugin but I give it 3 stars.
The reason for this is that the *Failed to determine file size error is TOO frequent*

On my server, the player clicks on the NPC to install the skin, more than 10 skins that were loaded normally YESTERDAY now do not load with error "Failed to determine file size".

This is very annoying. please fix it.

P.S. how can I set default skin to a *url* ?

Please do not automatically enable bungeecord mode. I don't want to use it even tho i have a bungeecord server

I'm using it for my BungeeCord server. Why is the file size 7mb though? Also do I need ProtocolSupport or any other plugin for it?

Amazing plugin. Compatible with waterfall and paperspigot. I don't have any errors or bugs.

Allows you to track at what coordinates the player was, thereby allowing you to find his house.

If you run an anarchy server, don't use this plugin, it leak your coordinates for player with hacked clients

Much needed plugin on an offline server. I think my players enjoy this most without even realizing it.

I used the SkinFile Generator to generate a skinfile and put it in the Skins folder (Guy.skin file). Now how do I use it? When I write /skin set Guy there is absolutely not the skin that I laid in the skinfile.

Works on my server network perfectly. I love it. If you have problems with the skin not loading just download the skin and place it in the skins folder.
