Used to be GREAT plugin!
But now it conflicts with others that prevents Fall damage like World Guard, Lobby protection etc.
Still getting fall damage in worlds, where TDJ is disabled...
A very decent plugin, I like the one where you can customize your double jump. but it also has its bugs, in a 2x2 runner if you run and spam the jump you can start to fly, sometimes you will also go through walls. I hope one day you can fix the error :C
This plugin is awesome, I'm glad I can configure the jump as I didn't want my players flying around with their jumps.
I have noticed strange bugs with the double jump. Some players have been able to spam the double jump so fast they are able to jump multiple times in a row. I have seen some players do more than 10 jumps in a row! Also, I enabled fall damage on double jumps but when doing this, it seems regular fall damage has been disabled when players don't jump. Simply walking off a tall height will avoid all fall damage but if they jump off it, they will take fall damage. Very strange. If these bugs could be fixed, my review would be 5/5

The plugin itself is just awesome.
Unfortunately it sometimes happens, and randomly that the player aims to steal while the permission and the config.yml is correctly configured ... A little update to correct that, and it will be perfect! 3 stars to encourage, I will put 5 stars when this problem is fixed
However, we are unable to keep using it. Even with flying set to false & the permission denied, our players keep managing fly... Sometimes they will go to double jump and unexpectedly be flying instead... This lasts as long as they never land... If this wasn't an issue we'd love to be using this plugin!

This got to be my favorite "double Jump" plugin that exists right now.
I have tried many jump plugins and either they are missing an important
feature that I want or they simply do not work for me/incompatible with
other plugins. Wrote the Author about a harmless error via console, so I hope he stays active in development. All in all I do recommend.

Perfectly works and fulfills everything you want from a double jump plugin. There are even features I couldn't think of that would come handy. Perhaps add a way have double jumps with different cooldowns for groups/other permissions, but overall, excellent job!

Honestly, in my mind, it is kind of stupid you give me a bad review because my plugin doesn't do exactly what you want for your server. That is why I have the source code up. But I will add all of the features I think my plugin will need. If you'd like more, go ahead and implement them in with the source code.

What was wrong with the setup? I have tried to make it work out-of-the-box, so if that was not what you got, could you PM me what took so long along with your plugins? I want to make this as easy to set up as it possibly can, but still allow the entire plugin to be as customizable as it can be!

It works great with some cool configurations, however there is no way to enable fall damage. I want just a tiny double jump added to my survival server, not ninja monkey cliff diving with no worries added haha. The enable or disable fall damage config doesn't seem to do anything at all.
I just looked through the code, and there is an option to disable double jumping in the code. Try to PM me so I can see how I can fix this!

Used this plugin for awhile, never felt the need to review, but saw a fake negative review so I thought I'd even it out. Great plugin, probably the best double jump out there.

Actually, I can't add 1.7 support. It is too hard to implements without lagging the server to death.. I don't see why you don't update to 1.12 though.. At a very minimum 1.8 with the old version of ProtocolSupport..

However, I have uncovered a serious bug. When players go into spectator mode on a world that the plugin is disabled in, they will immediately fall through the floor, unable to fly up. I have tried to "disable" the /fly command, but it still did not work. Also, it conflicts with essentials.
Other than that, the plugin is great! Keep up the good work!
was working perfectly and now doesnt work at all, no errors nothing, even with full perms, nothing happens when i double jump, tried to delete and install again. no luck </3 , using spigot 1.12.1
I like this resource. However the second jump has a tendency to fling the player in random directions. Making jumping somewhat harder to use sometimes. Especially since players can run forward and doublejump takes them back enough to make it not worth jumping. XD Its good but the math needs work. Thanks for a good plugin!

This is great. Exactly what I was looking for, and it has a lot of customization. It deserves a 5-star rating. I wish it had just one more feature, and that is a kind of cost for using the doublejump, examples of a cost could be, using up a certain item in your inventory with each jump, or depleting the hunger bar faster. Anyways, thanks for all your hard work on this plugin, and the regular updates!
is good, but could you add an option to set a number of jumps someone can have based on a permission? like tdj.jumps.1 they can jump 2 times ,tdj.jumps.2 they can jump 3 times, etc.

AS mentioned below me double jumpm prevents u from flying please implement a /dj toggle command and i rate 5 stars , now i got no way to implement this with my vips who can fly.

Decent plugin. My only issue with it is that it you can't fly in survival mode with the /fly command. Double jump keeps you from flying. Creative mode disables double jump, and it would be nice if /fly being activated also disabled doublejump.

I'd love it if the vertical velocity didn't stop the character from moving forward if there is no forward velocity. You can see what I mean if you set Velocity:
Forward: 0
Up: 0.5
If this is changed via seperate setting or core functionality and it results in regular old double jump behavior then $20 and 5 stars to you. If it doesn't then I'll throw $20 and 5 stars at you to have a setting for it to keep the current forward velocity of the player and just use the regular upward velocity of the default minecraft jump a second time in mid air, but if there's no forward velocity(the player is standing still), then no forward velocity when doublejumping...maybe it's not possible?
For now I can live with it being

Up: 0.4
The only "problem" with this is when you double jump standing still you will jump forwards.
