It works well, and I love its simplicity.

For anyone having trouble finding the Placeholder API, follow these steps:

Go to https://api.extendedclip.com/expansions/marriage/ and download the latest version.
Navigate to plugin/PlaceholderAPI/expansions.
Place the downloaded file into the folder and run /papi reload.
Voilà! It should now be working.

I have a problem and it doesn't let me modify the help command when typing the /marry command because it appears in another language and I want to change it.

A simple and pleasant to use plugin. I was pleased to have the ability to translate all the plugin messages.
But there is one thing, placeholder alas does not download, it says that such a placeholder does not exist:
"Failed to find an expansion named: marriage"

This is an EXCELLENT plugin which does everything it says on the tin. I have custom items on my server (private for family and friends only) with promise, engagement and wedding ring textures set up. At each stage of commitment the players have to finish a quest to obtain the ring JUST to ask the other for the loyalty...They also have to submit their rings to a Priest before they can go through a marriage ceremony and at each stage time applies ie only 3 months from a promise ring giving can they apply for engagementship status. Married life is worth it. The perks players get for the drawn out process of commitment are worth the wait and adventure! None of this could be possible without this plugin and I want to say THANK YOU to the plugin designer for making this (OFF THEIR BACK) for free to everyone. You're a good hearted person and don't let anyone convince you otherwise. THANK YOU.

dont know whats wrong with people that complaining about non binaries, i mean they could just not pick the gender, but yeah would be good if you could add config for disabling gender or non binary, but other than that this is a really good plugin <3 and well im still normal, not gonna trash talk or giving less stars just because it lacks of those features.

Transphobic, doesn't have a non-binary option. There is no need for this to be gendered and even if there was there should be a non-binary option.

my server and i like this plugin but the lack of an option to add custom genders or having a built in non binary option is disappointing considering we have a good amount of non binary people in the server and it could leave people feeling left out.

Great work but there is one think that needs to be repaired - permissions to command /marry pvp and /marry heal ... Hope to see them soon on this website . Thanks for doing this plugin.

Good plugin, it works in 1.16.2 and it's very fun for roleplay.
But, it will be cool if you had PAPI support, in most chat plugins the placeholders the plugin has does not recognize it.

This is a fantastic plugin.

I'm leaving a 5-star review because this plugin does exactly what's advertised and it does it well- however, I'm also leaving a review to combat the people marking it down stars because it doesn't have a gender option other than male or female, which I think is just ridiculous.

This plugin does not force you to select either gender, and you can even get married without choosing either gender. If you're not a fan of that- find an alternative.

The plugin is very good and adds rolplay to all modes of my server, but I would like that in the command "/marry gender" you could also select "genderless" because there are people who do not feel identified with either gender and I have received several complaints about that, otherwise the plugin is perfect :)

Love the idea, but it is missing realism. For example, why didn't all my server possessions get transferred to my wife when we divorce? Or why doesn't being married cripple the gameplay to a point you don't wanna play anymore? I wanted a MARRIAGE plugin, this is just monogamous kissbuddies.

Serves its purpose. It is easier to handle than other marriage plugins. A divorce function and prefixes would be nice to add.

Hello, first of all, excellent plugin. second, could you add anything like a "Priest"? That say the words like, "You (user) accept marry with (user)?" and then, the player must say "Yes" or "No" if answer "Yes" the priest will ask to the other person, so, this will be like a "Priest", and trait to set the priest to citizens? (If you can), and could you do anything to do when the partnerts were married, this teleport to the partnets like a uhm... "Party" in the room. Thank you.

I don't like the versions passed 20.12 cause pvp is disabled in my server so its stupid for it to have a toggle that doesn't work also i liked it to only display a <3 beside there name not if there male or female.

Very nice plugin, I have been using this on our Survival server for 2+ years now and my players love it!

Hey I love your plugin, so do the players, but I have a couple suggestions for it.
1. A permission to use chat colors instead of everyone being able to use it in marriage chat.
2. Ability to disable certain commands.
3. Ability to change the messages in the Marriage help section (We can always use "\n" to go to the next line or an array).
Any ways it is still an amazing plugin, I would suggest this for all survival servers as it's the best as of this time.

The plugin itself is really cool and the author is awesome to talk to, the updates and the new ideas they have brought to this kind of plugin made this one unique from the rest.
Only thing I would say is that that it's missing a few things or they aren't in the features list. (The blind date thing you were telling me about and some of the features I suggested. ;3)
