great plugin I was using it for 1.20.6 until I updated to 1.21.1 which is 1 version above the supported version so it would be nice if discordsrv 1.29.0 would be able to be in 1.21.1 so until than I would not be using it :(

Best MC Discord Plugin i ever used, includes a lot of features. And you get fast und good support if you ran into issues.

The best plugin on Discord integration. I used this plugin in 2020, back when it wasn't very popular and the plugin code was less optimized. Even then I liked DiscordSRV, its console directly in Discord, connecting players and pinging @ administration about server crashes. In general, the plugin evolved over the years and became very popular (not only on Spigot) especially I liked the integration of Conditional Events in Discord. Now you can create almost any webhooks in discord. It's great!

Had a small issue I could not overcome, hopped into the discord to open a ticket, literally had someone helping me within 10 minutes and was resolved in about 5 minutes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

i wasted 4 months with them asking for help was ignored to point i left 1 star review in 09 of 23 on here that they also deleted to keep there star rating up. For 4 months i had to almost everyday push them to try to even get help to the point that in other discords I got better help about there plugin then they EVER gave me ROFL they closed my first ticket in there discord without even saying a word for no reason, then the second one i opened took 4 months to the day till i snapped about it to not get ANYWARE, If they would have helped at all i would have loved to give them a 5 star review I use to think it was an amazing plugin tbh.... But the support makes it not even worth 1 star what's a plugin with 0 support, & rude staff when & if you can get ahold of one. *Will continue to repost until it is left up*

Half of the people in reviews do not understand how to configure a plugin (I swear the number of tickets I had seen of stuff that can be easily answered just by opening the documentation was insane), and the other half behave like they are entitled and do not realize that the developers do not get paid to code and help them and do it in their free time. Anyways there are like hundreds of tickets but staff help and fix them eventually.

Support is from my point of view professional and informative even though waiting times may be slow sometimes. I usually say good things are worth waiting for.

My setup consists of 3 Paper Servers acting as backends each with DiscordSRV. They all share the same SQL database. In this case one of them acts as the Master while the other two acts as Clients. I had to work hard to get them to not send a message twice to Discord - That was an issue I was determined to fix myself as I can read Wikis. Figured it out eventually and it all just works

I'm not one to complain normally but I Loved this plugin until lately on — 09/15/2023 I opened a ticket went thru process for ticket to auto close or w/e that's fine though so again on 09/17/2023 I opened a second ticket it is now 10/05/2023 and I am latterly not a single step closer to a resolution to my issue. I have had to beg in general chat more then once to get a dev or ANYONE to even bother to look at my ticket its been over two weeks and due to issue it just about cripples my server atm since this plugin has issue its causing second issue with a different plugin and due to this all my members have no permissions and cannot do ANYTHING on my server bringing it to a total standstill I know you guys do this in spare time but this is a little much tbh. ill update this review when more info is available

This plugin is so good, it allows u to sync ur voice and text channels/chats between Discord and Minecraft, tested on Mohist 1.12.2 it works well.

So the plugin works well at first and then after a while for some reason it eats 3GB ram and overloads the threads and crashes the server (thanks to the console which spammer discordsrv crash error) correct your problem and I will test the next version (of course on my server is in 1.20.1 spigot for information)

The plugin seems to have potential, but unfortunately I experienced a lot of problems while trying to use it. The main problem I encountered was not connecting to Discord and getting the "Skipping voice module tick, category is null" error. This seems to significantly limit the functionality of the plugin.

I think the overall UI and documentation could be clearer which would make it easier to understand and troubleshoot. Perhaps there is a need for better technical support or more frequent updates to resolve these issues.

It's a good plugin that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Maybe you could add support for webhooks that would be awesome.

Does everything it promises to do to a T. Highly customisable, with integrations for compatibility with many other plugins. (PAPI, Dynmap, VentureChat, etc.). Documentation is well made.

The ability to use a proximity voice chat without a specific client opens many users who otherwise wouldn't have been able to use proximity voice to be able to use it. As well as this, the chat forwarding and customisability is very useful. Furthermore, the console forwarding is advantageous to give other moderators access to logs and console commands, without giving them full access to the server.

I'm usually not one to leave reviews, however the support I received from them was truly exceptional for a free plugin.
The highly helpful [staff?] (Specifically R2D2Vader#0693) on the discord server, were able to sus out my problems quickly and were very polite about it.

This is a must have plugin for any server.

It does what it's supposed to do and it does it well. Rather than crying about the fact that optimizing or setting up any plugin requires more than a 1st grade education, why don't you do some research in forums to see if someone has met a similar problem and or try and (patiently because the resource is fucking free) contact the developer.

The plugin was good until they switched to a new way of writing messages to the console via message editors. This causes my console search to stop working after a while - it doesn't index new content.

I used this plugin multiple times and it works! I myself am a discord.js developer but I suggest you update this to v14 as Discord updated their API to v10.

Best plugin ever. Really helpful 24/7 staff. The plugin may be confusing at first but with the help of the DiscordSRV wiki and YouTube tutorials about how to set it up, it's really easy. I really loving the integration that they did with this. Connecting the Minecraft chat to a discord chat channel. This is an absolute must have for server owners. My server was recently hacked and griefed but no more! Now when anyone joins my server, I get an instant notification of who it was. I can stop anyone before they cause any damage now. Also, if my server has an unexpected shutdown, I get alerted for that too!

Been using this plug-in for a long time and always works as intended. Further more learning more about the plugin via there discord is a blessing especially with the alerts stuff. Basic common sense should be applied as majority of issues people complain about are highlighted easily enough in there logs that they produce to the discord. Amazing what a little reading can do.

The discord bot is hosted from your Minecraft server itself without causing any lag whatsoever, meaning that you do not need to spend extra money on hosting and can fully customize it. The extremely in-depth config file also makes it incredibly customizable on the Minecraft side. Perfect plugin to interact with the ingame chat or console on the go, and not to mention the amazing discord support; I had an issue, posted it and had it solved in minutes. Great Plugin. My only problem with it is that I can't run commands from the console channel. It doesn't recognize text as a command unless it starts with a /, and console doesn't recognize it as a command because console commands don't use /. Is there a way to fix this that I'm not seeing. Overall a great plugin.

please fix it, because in version 1.25.0, if you run the /list command in the console, an error will occur in the console, and there are still other commands that have exactly the same error when run in the console, please fix this

Just wanted to say this plugin is amazing, really usefull! But i've never had such rude support. The frog support guy on your discord really doesn't know what support is. He's rude and unhelpful. I was wondering if any of your users experience issues with the plugin Enjin spewing debug reports to the console of the Discord when Enjin doesn't spew any of that debug stuff in the actual Minecraft console. I was told I didn't fill the form our correctly as it would have advised me about enjin, and then was told that he wasn't enjin support. Like I understand, but I was simply just wondering if this was a common topic bought up to you and if there was a fix that you did know. But he's banned me from support so I guess i'll never know.

The discord staff are the best support team ive encountered so far. I can say their discord server is fast reliable and the friendliest community ever!

This plugin has some issues with the /discord command for the invite link i pasted my discord link there and whenever someone clicks it all it does is just puts them to the discord.com website and not my server.

Really great plugin, sadly tho im using it in a offline/cracked server, cause most of my friends doesnt have a premium acc. and you cant use discordsrv to prevent hackers. but overall its a great plugin. just allow us to use it on offline mode but with whitelist on or like a smth idk.

A very useful and optimized plugin! Most of all, I liked the ability to connect a real console and a discord channel.

Plugin is ok, but others like DCWM do the job better and incorporate Bungeecord off the bat. Author is a total jerk in the Discord though...not to mention some of the responses here. Tragic that a decent, arguably 3-4 star plugin is marred by one guy.

Plugin is good to be honest, but the author is pretty rude to people in the Discord. There's also tons of people complaining in the Discord about lack of support. Just read his response to the review below if you need any indication of the tone to expect from support by him and the policing of the Discord.

I love the Plugin, it has many fully configurable options in addition to the alert system giving many possibilities and you can send messages of whatever you want to discord.
And as if that were not enough, it is constantly updated. It has some other little problem and it can be difficult to understand but in general it is very good

Definitely a must-have on any community server that also has a Discord. Also makes it so convenient to run commands since I can do them from the comfort of my Discord server.

Very nice plugin with a plethora of features. This enables admins to have a clean and professional Discord integration.

I would love to see BungeeCord/Waterfall support added, but I have found a quasi work-around on Linux. Deploy to all servers in your network. Disable synchronization except for one server. Use hard links to make the plugin data (except the main and sync config files) the same across all servers, no matter which server is updating it. Lastly, create console rooms in Discord for each server and configure their IDs in appropriately. All servers can use the same discord bot. Now, when a player uses /discord link it won't require the player to know 'which bot' to send the code to and all instances are mirrored via the hard links.

Pretty useless for bungeecord servers, but does what it should if you run it on a single server. It never claimed to support bungee anyway, so I guess I can't give it a bad review.

Bad customer service, very rude. The plugin itself is okay but has some issues with chat with custom plugins. Overall, it's better to just make your own if you're someone who uses custom plugins that affect chat.

This is without a doubt the most impactful plugin I have ever used. The ability to run an entire server from the comfort of discord is incredible. We use this plugin on our survival and creative servers, and imagine my surprise to find it works flawlessly on a 1.12.2 modpack as well!

The plugin its self id rate a solid 4.5, the reason for the 1 star is the for the worlds worst customer service I've ever seen.
In Short terms, I found this lovely plugin, got on with it well but wanted to add something and did not know how, so I found my way to their discord server in seek of advice. What I found was a very immature pre-adult by estimate. Now credit where credit is due "Scarsz lol" did answer my query, in a brief, response "might’ve already been fixed on snapshots" with no further comment. At the time "Scarsz lol" seemed quite busy so I decided to ask my question again in a separate channel seeking a second opinion, *What's the harm in that? I thought to myself*
Where to start. Within 10 minuets there was a response *again credit where credit is due, Fast response time* From the same "Scarze lol" With a very abrupt "you just gonna ask the same thing twice?" After I explained I was seeking a second opinion Scarze replied if you don't acknowledge my first response in any way, how the **** would I know you wanted a "second opinion" *edit: I did in fact acknowledge his first responce.* Furthermore a attempt to insult me by insinuating I was nothing but a child "are you 12 or something?" Afterword's I was told "you're not going to get some sort of "second opinion" to witch I ask "Not trying to be annoying but why not?" His response; "why would there be literally any reason to begin with for a second opinion"
*if you cant tell by this so called advisor's Terminology, not the kindest help I've ever received*
When I stated I was only seeking advice, I was meet with "cool, and I *advised* you that it might've already been fixed"

all the ones we did have were resolved fast by reading back the discord support channel, Works as described and full of features, Very light weight and simple to setup.
Defiantly recommended.

The plugin does what it should, but the support is unpleasant. If you know you might need help to get things started, especially if you're new to plugins, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

I've been using this plugin for more than a year, and i can't recommend it enough if you have an active community on Discord. Being able to talk with on-line members and use the console from the comfort of Discord is incredible. There's a lot of settings i haven't touched yet, but you don't need them to have a really good Discord > Minecraft link!

Why is the error of loading from mobs O.o
Timings say about the load:

Minecraft::world - mobSpawn (SELF) - load over >900%
and chunks are loaded for a long time

without the plugin - everything is fine

It was great unteal last update. Last update keeps crashing servers, not just mine. Plis fix that so we can use new updates

These bad reviews are giving this plugin a bad look. The reviews are just people who are ungrateful and unwilling to ask for help. Do not listen to them. I have been using this resource for almost half a year now with no issues!

Horrible staff team, good plugin. Since I can't rate both this ill give a 1 star rate because the staff actually acts like a true 14 years old teenager.

good, but the silentjoin perm should get turned into a nosilentjoin perm, so I can get a message when everyone joins, not just non ops.

This plugin is average cuz i donot show masg when op joins
so thats the issue that gets on my nerves i want the author of this plugin to fix that in order to main tain it

From a user's perspective, this is a perfect plugin and everything works as intended with minimal fuss. This is the kind of plugin that does a thing and does it well.

However, I can only rate the plugin 4 out of 5, due to two issues on the administrative side:

- Plugin configs do not migrate entirely. Because of this, every update must also require two server restarts per server: one for migrating the config, and another to update the changes that I have to migrate by hand every time.

- On the subject of updates, the plugin nags for updates in the server's WARN thread. This is the only plugin I've used that considers this an acceptable practice. Just put a small INFO notification, once, upon initializing the plugin.

Bottom line: Plugin is awesome, does what it says, super user-friendly. Great support on Discord. Just please make updating versions more seamless if you're going to nag for it.

This is an amazing plugin would like to see "/mute discord_username" or "/disconnect discord_username" or "/move discord_username different_voice_channel" for voice channels for mods

This is such a great plugin but i would really like to see a /mutechat and /clearchat that works ingame and discord. The clear chat deletes 100 messages in discord and just sends 100 blank lines ingame at the same time. Also the mutechat is configurable that you could add roles that can talk and the ones that cant on discord!

One of my favorite plugins by far. My favorite feature is Minecraft -> Discord group/role synch. Allowing for my players to link their accounts and have their in-game rank show on discord almost automatically.

I also love being able to interact with my community even when I'm not able to get on the server myself. Also being able to run console commands without accessing my server panel is such a great quality-of-life feature.

First off, I have used this plugin since 2017, where we had a SMP on 1.11-1.12. It was extremely fun and all my server members were wowed by this function.

I then stopped being an admin for a while :( but then came back this year to see that this is still alive and going! Now it has even more functions than before which is really cool.

I have never had major issues with this plugin in the 3 years I've used it, and every time there was some problem it detailed it in the console log very well. Thanks for making this, Scarsz!

Would there be a minecraft name to discord nickname link in the future? that would be awesome, players sometimes get confused when other players chat from discord and has different names.

One of my favorite plugins. There are a few essential features like mute syncing that is missing, but the other features that Discordsrv has puts it above all alternatives. I made a public plugin which adds this feature and a few others to DiscordSRV, but I'm sure your implementation would be a lot cleaner than mine. Can't wait for 2.0!

Discord >< Minecraft | Works as intended, actually surprised to learn there aren't a hotbed of servers using this tool to provide a secondary nesting ground for players.

All players on my server can see the chat, but one player can't see the chat (discord AND Minecraft chat). Apart from that, this plugin is AWESOME. REALLY AWESOME.

The plugin stopped working all together, but was working fine a few hours prior. I didn't change anything in my server except for updating the plugin so it was up to date so it wasn't my server it was the plugin. I tried redownloading from scratch, but still didn't work. I then went to the plugins discord and went to the support channel for help. The dev replied, but wasn't willing to help. Told me to check logs, but basically said i was on my own. TLDR, don't bother with this plugin the developer is a jerk..

i used discordsrv in our server, there's an error about code parse exception in typing /pl and in chatreaction, i think its incompatible, and it kicks most of the players in the server, where can i send out my report for it?

The plugin works great and though I had issues with it I managed to figure out that it was a bug with a new build that made it where my alerts weren't working right, now I can use this for multiple discord setups

I love this plugin. Integration with dynmap was a great addition. Sharing chat between the game, discord, and dynmap allows everyone to stay connected seamlessly with no weird one-sided conversations anymore.

Works flawlessly. Genius plugin, unbelievably helpful. Running on 1.15.2 Spigot with no issues.

Console that accepts commands in Discord is VERY convenient. Bridge to in-game chat is disappointing, though - posts are plain text with player names IN the message, and do not show the player's in game avatar like some other Discord connection plugins do. I use this one for only the console and another for the chat bridge.

Im having a problem, I have rank colors in my discord and the toprolecolor thing in messages.yml only shows the color for some ranks in game. I want every role color to be what they are in discord but some are just white.

I removed a previous rating. I found an alternative approach to excessive logging on an issue that may very well be external to the plugin.

I was not able to follow up on previous rating, but reason for not approaching for support was the toxic responses to other people having similar questions.

I'm not sure if I can say anything bad about this plugin. It works. It does what it says it does and it's super customizable. The support system is ahead of it's time, quick and easy I was able to diagnose my configuration with other plugins with the help of the amazing staff. This is the plugin for any discord linking.
