Its high customizability allows you to create gameplay according to your preferences. I hope the author can update it again and support changing the maximum number of a profession in the game. It's almost a perfect plugin

Feature packed plugin full of different modes but very unintuitive and needlessly time consuming setup.

It's undeniably a powerful plugin with lots of customization and features but it get nullified by the fact that it's absolutely horrid to set up. It's very unintuitive and the documentation is very badly written with links sending you left and right. No example setup either.

It still seems promising and if you have time to tinker with the options i would reccomend it. If you are looking to do things efficiently use specific plugins for each game mode.

I absolutely love this plugin and my players are having a lot of fun. We run Geyser-Floodgate on my java server and were having problems with a respawn glitch for all of our Bedrock players. However, I reached out directly to the dev team and they were incredibly helpful. We're running on a dev build that fixed our issue. There are still some glitches and funky problems, but nothing I can't workaround for the moment. The freedom this offers me in scripting my own gamemodes and creating our own arenas is already a great addition to our SMP and I look forward to further development. Definitely gets my highest recommendation.

Absolute disaster to set up the plugin from zero to playable minigame.

Unintuitive and complicated setup wiki and explanations of everything. No updated video tutorials from any youtube (the last +- good tutorial was 8 years ago).

I see that the plugin contains a huge amount of features, and I suppose since they are written and listed - it is true. My experience in server management, and setting up some minigames is not enough! BUT: I'm sure I have a lot of such experience having my own minigames server and survival servers project for a few years already. So I guess the problem is not fully on my side. If you know what I mean.

How to properly set up an arena?
What are those regions and it's set up?
How to make even the DEFAULT "Pyro" class allowed breaking arena blocks with TNT?
How then make the arena restore its map after the match? Is that THAT hard?
What the hell is those dozens of modules and why is it so complicated?

I'm not sure I can recommend that plugin at all.
I'm triggered now, I've deleted it and I'll try to find anything else, more user-friendly to set up a simple pvp-minigame.

For me, this is the best PVP plugin that has a lot of customization and usage options. If you need advice, it's not a problem and you can always get help on Discord. Good job.

Overal is this plugin great for making own pvp arenas and customizing. The only issue i have rigt now is that when a bedrock (i use Geyser) player gets killed he somehow bugged out . For example i kill a bedrock player in a arena the death screen wont be schowen for him but when he gets near some blocks that go up then he bugs back. What i think the issue is that Geyser isnt liking it when a bedrock player loses all healt and then gets instantly respawn without a death screen.
But Overal a great plugin i can only recomend.
Would be very happy about a fix, or i am just dumb and couldt find a solucion miself. :}

An average plugin for very simple PVP arenas, but it's a pain to work with for larger projects. It has a lot of smaller problems. to name a few:

- Some commands don't give errors when an error occurs.
- Sometimes have to reload after setting commands to work.
- Some modules are out of date and work only after restarting.
- The documentation is bad and outdated, very few explanations.
- Some modules/ actions just outright crash the server.
- Choosing classes is requires, even if turned off.
- The video tutorials are old and pretty bad.
- If the wrong command (order, letter) is used it starts the arena instead of giving an error. Very annoying.
- The order of actions of some modules are bad. Example: using WorldEdit it restores the battlefield including entities and after that it clears the field of entities. Useless.

It's a nice plugin if you want a few simple arena's with basic battles, but for game modes like The Walls, Hunger Games and Infection it's just so much better to use a dedicated plugin. Outside from the larger problems it's full of little annoyances and the documentation that looks big, but really isn't, doesn't help at all. There is no Discord Server either, you can only open issues on Github. After tinkering with multiple gamemodes and arenas for a week I wasn't very happy. Then, after I installed a simple module ,The server crashed and I couldn't move ingame after restarting. I had to delete player data and I decided to uninstall it and get some dedicated plugins instead.

I do not recommend this plugin for 1.15.2

How I do when someone dies is launching to a certain place. And each team will have a different point to end
For example, when a member of the Red Team dies, he launches into the Red Team's room and waits for the end of the game. And the same in the blue group

Great plugin, I use it for my server. I have one question though, how do you set up protections etc? Because when I do /pa protection (name of region) (name of flag) true and then I try with false, it doesn't make any change and I just can't do the action in the region. I don't know how to allow or disallow certain actions.

Guys how can i create a arena that just have 5 team and 1 team just have 4 player. And what goal that 1 player in a team die 1 time will be kick, i mean 1 team just have 1 live for 1 player. I research for it everywhere on internet but no result.

Bug Armor, player no wear armor but have bug 5, 7.5, full armor after Leave out the Game.... please fix this :'((((

I absolutely love this plugin, and have been using it for atlleast 1 year now, but I still have 1 question that I have not yet found an answer to. Everytime I make a kit I'll put the armor in my hotbar, but then I select a kit ingame and it automatically puts it on. I would like to change this as I am working with custom enchants and evertime the gear is put on automatically the custom enchants do not work. Thanks for making a great plugin anyways!

Everything Seems to be working at first glance, but whenever i try to restart my server, the plugin is disabled and i have to reset the jar file, in my FTP it says that the jar file is corrupted. This happens every time. I am trying to set up a Dominations Arena and its proving to be much more difficult than i expected. Please help!

Very nice plugin, everything works at it does, just hopedthe flag blocks could allow the Banners to be used as flags that would make it perfect for the Capture the flag gamemode.

Also - im about to use with with a magic plugin to make a Warlords clone :)

Amazing plugin, does almost everything I want it to do. However, I can't seem to figure out for the life of me how to set it so classes just aren't a thing. My server is 100% dependent on going through and gaining your own weapons and armor, and I can't figure out how to make an arena that you can bring your own gear into. Does anyone know how to do this?

Hello! I'm using this on my 1.11 server, and I believe it will be wonderful! The video makes it seem creative, easy, and exciting! However, I'm a bit confused. When I start the server, it complains I am using an old version, and then self updates. But when I use the update, it says the new version is unstable, and wants me to go back to the old. I would require some assistance, or at least know which version is best - the new or the old? Thank you!

This is a plugin that I had to come back and write my reviews while I was eating dinner because I just had to. Plugin is awesome, and flawless. It takes little time to understand because of the nature of what you are trying to make. This plugin is not a out of box plugin, you may need to read documentation and try to understand how to implement features you want to make. Once you understand what's going on, everything comes very natural. The best part of this plugin is that developer is super friendly and helpful unlike many other well-known plugin developers. It must be very tiresome to answer same question for developer over as there must be a lot of people who struggle, yet I could not find thing in my conversation with him. He answered nicely, friendly with very correct information.

Excellent plugin, with a bit of work got the areanas to work. Once you have set up one the next ones will be way easier to set up and how they work is just perfect.

I have very mixed feelings about this plugin.. It has plenty of features and they're working nice and smooth, ONCE you get them to work. Setup is very painful compared to few other plugins, mainly because the documentation is real mess from some parts. For example i was trying to setup the sabotage gamemode, but only information i found about it, was that it has one. Still trying to figure how to setup that...

Used this plugin for years! Awesome!!

This is the most versatile free arena plugin I've ever used. It takes a little while to get used to all the functions and flags, but once you do, you are only limited to server capacity and your imagination.

Very very few bugs in the plugin, as the dev is experienced and has been fine-tuning PA for a long time. I haven't actually tried the newest verson yet (will tomorrow) but my experience with SlipCor's Pvp-Arena in the past gives me complete confidence in it :)

I think if you were to want ideas for premium features (I read below), my suggestion would be a fully implimented and versatile ingame-GUI system to setup arena features, as well as arena navigation and powerups/classes/etc with GUI menus. But, this means a whole other area for you to set up, and a lot of other plugins have flexible solutions for this already.

My only request, back from PA's bukkit days, is to flesh out the documentation a little. I remember looking for hours (then going back some more) to figure out how to set up certani flags. Setting up Spleef gave me a headache for days because I couldn't figure out which flags had to be set :D

Beyond the few holes in the documentation, this plugin is perfect!

When I install the mod and enabled FlySpectate the plugin is not working correctly. When writing any command writes: "An Internal error occurred while attempting to perform this command".

This plugin is TOP notch. I've been using it for a couple years now (came from Bukkit) and SliPCoR has done an amazing job. This plugin can do any type of game you can think of! It runs very VERY well.
