EvoItems – Upgrade Your Tools and Armor Automatically

EvoItems allows you to convert wooden tools and leather armor into upgradable gear. Each item gains XP through normal gameplay and automatically levels up, improving its material and applying enchantments up to netherite.

Features:

• Convert items with /evo convert (operators or with permission)
• Track XP and levels with /evo info
• Automatic material upgrades: Wooden → Stone → Iron → Diamond → Netherite
• Automatic enchantment upgrades per level
• Armor gains XP based on usage:
  • Helmets: submerged in water
  • Chestplates: taking damage
  • Leggings: fall damage
  • Boots: jumping
• Tool XP triggers:
  • Pickaxe: mining stone/ores
  • Shovel: digging dirt, sand, gravel
  • Axe: cutting logs
  • Hoe: tilling soil
  • Sword: attacking mobs/players
• Items are unbreakable
• Abuse prevention: cannot rename, enchant, etc
• Supports permissions (e.g., LuckPerms)

Commands:

• /evo convert <item> – Converts eligible items into EvoItems
• /evo info – Shows current Evo XP and level

• Minecraft 1.20.1
• Spigot API

Notes:

• Only wooden tools and leather armor are eligible for conversion
• Maximum level is 7 (netherite tier)
