I downloaded this, and there are no clear instructions step by step to set this up (for noobs). and when you place anything down it doesnt leave particles to show where you placed anything

great to hear an update is coming out! I am going to try this plugin out, but I would like to add a suggestion: make it possible to make more than 2 teams? like I want to make 3 cities battle each other 'long term' and there needs to be 3 flags =(

Overall, I think the core concept is good, but I did bring up a few issues with the author, and he agreed to investigate. Together, we even tested potential fixes, but his exams caused the development to halt. Looking forward to an update next month.
