The problem of using this plugin in "spigot 1.8.8" (plugin version 1.0.9.7):

1. The "joinquitmessages" function does not work, and players will still receive the message of entering and exiting the server from their friends

2. The "alreadyfriends" function does not work, and players will still receive friend requests

3. A player's friend request cannot be blocked separately

4. Even if "player a" sets "offlinemode" to "true", and "player B" uses command "/f list", "player b" can still see that "player a" is online

5. The "status" function cannot be updated in time

6. "You accepted 0 requests!" will be displayed when you enter command "/f accepted all" But I think it should be "you haven't received anyone's friend request!" . Similarly, "/f denyall" does same thing

7. I don't know where the permission list is. I tried "friends.Commands.OfflineMode" and "friends.Commands.offlinemode", but non OP players still can't use "/friend offlinemode"

8. After type "/friend offlinemode", the op player will change the status of "offlinemode", but this is not listed in "/friend help"

9. I don't know what command the player has executed in many events clicked in the item column, so that I have been unable to give non OP players permission to use this plugin normally(the author's reply in other comments is "Friends.Commands.%command%")
Recommendations:

1. In addition to custom item names and lore, add custom click commands

2. Since the "/friend" command can be customized to trigger the command, "/friend list", "friend help" can also be customized to "/fl", "fhelp" ?

I love this plugin sooo much, but permissions just doesnt work for me, i installed the plugin, gave the player permissions for all the friends command, but they cant accept or make friendrequists, but players with /op can add friends, hope you can help me :)

good plugin but there is a huge exploit or error, when you do /party, it opens the gui and when u click on player it says %name% options and when u click the gold promote or demote, it doesnt do anything and players can keep opening that and taking the gold and iron.

Works perfectly on PaperSpigot 1.16.5! But /friend block and /friend unblock doesn't working.

This plugin is great but why isn't there an option for mysql databases?I prefer mysql since i selfhost and don't want to lose diskspace

After trying many friends plugins (even some paid ones), this was the one I liked the most. Everything is configurable. The developer is very responsive on discord and quick to fix issues. Give it a shot!

FriendsReloaded has amazing functionality for being free and the developer is very friendly and helpful if you have any questions or suggestions. There are frequent updates with improvements. If I had a bungee server I wouldn't hesitate to pay $5 for the bungee version, that's a low price in my opinion. I can't believe people are complaining about that. Overall, I couldn't be more satisfied with the plugin.

I managed to make it work, but when the leader tries to join a game he executes a command and then the force plugin to all the players in the party execute the same command together with the leader, the leader ends the command 2 times and the minigame receives 2 players the luck of 1 which ends up bugging the match

The plugin si incredibly amazing and it has well build in guis witch are total costumized but how can I display my headcuz if i type material: "player_head" it just show a regular steve head but nt my. I feel this plugin is by far too buggy and overall the author does not efficiently manage their time for this to become a "premium" plugin. Not worth it. Furthermore, many functions have been taken away from the plugin that overall defeats the purpose of having the plugin installed, among the fact that errors and bugs continually reoccur despite having been "fixed" by the author. Our players are annoyed of it, our staff are tired of hearing about it, and I'm sick of dealing with it every freaking week. We tried... Farewell 'Friends' you won't be missed.

I add my skin to the element, with which you open the friends menu in the lobby, and the skin of the element is still the skin of my skin (the head of my skin). And also give the opportunity to scroll the pages to the end of friends / parties

Great Plugin, Everyone on my server loves it, and me also. This is a great way to create a friend and Friend chat system so Everyone doesn't see all your messages.

I cannot recommend this plugin.

I am using it on a Bungee setup, but users - not even ops - have permission to add friends, despite giving them the correct permissions.

Secondly, this plugin is an unoptimised mess. I have it using MySQL as it's method of storage, and it keeps infinitely creating new MySQL connections to the point where it crashes the server because it's created over 100 different connections. It should only create a set amount and reuse connections, or even dispose of old ones instead of just creating a new one every time a user tries to interact with the plugin.

Not to mention that the "friends player head" item which can be given to players upon joining also freezes the entire server when giving it to players. I don't know why, but even timings says it's the root cause of all of my server's lag when players join the server. If you have multiple people joining, it can cause crazy amounts of lag. I had 10 people join and the server's TPS dropped from a solid 20 to an 8.

I genuinely do not understand how people can recommend this plugin, it's so poorly made that it's actually killing my server while it's installed. I cannot recommend this plugin.

The plugin has tons of features and I am very happy with it. When I had questions, the developer responded quickly. Would recommend!

The plugin impresses with its functionality, but one thing upsets me. Group members are not teleported to follow the leader of this group. And if you teleport them, how will they enter the game ???!

Therefore, I want to propose an idea and at the same time ask whether it is possible to implement this ?: When a command is entered by a group leader (for example, / bw join BW_1, / mm join MM_1, etc.), if the command contains the name of the above commands, then the plugin distributes the influence of the group leader on all members of the group. I think this will make it convenient to play mini-games with friends. Just entering one command and all other party members will automatically execute it (If the team contains the desired mini-game command, of course).

I found the right listener for this idea: PlayerCommandPreprocessEvent. Since my knowledge in Java is reduced to zero, I want to ask you to implement my idea, if you certainly want to.

when i create a party and remove myself from the party,the party gui will go wrong,and i can even take the red wool and iron door into my inventory

I love it! I don't think I've seen any bugs at all yet. It works great and the developer is very active and always helps me figure something out, or if I ask about a feature that has not been added yet, he usually will add it! when I requested that the /r feature be added, I have no idea if he was already planning it, he added it in the next update 3 days later! Super Plugin, könntest du nur bitte machen, pass man den Placeholdern in der Friends-GUI einen Namen geben kann und dass man verschiedene Item Typen nutzen kann? Damit kann man alles viel einheitlicher machen. Dieses Feature hatte ich mir schon immer gewünscht, jedoch wurde das Plugin nicht weiter entwickelt und nun wird es das wieder, weshalb ich mir das wünschen würde.

I'm glad that this plugin is reviving =) My server's owner wanted to use EpicFriends but it's kinda buggy with the spigot gui addon and doesn't seem to have been updated in a while.
Now, yeah this plugin has some bugs but the author is very kind and said that he will fix them the day right after =))

Like the previous version, this plugin truly is an advantage to your server. The gui and the general design and functionality of Friends is simply astonishing and gives my server and especially my community the ability to stay connected.

The plugin has an awesome gui but has many bugs and many of the things don't work. The plugin has no support whatsoever for years and the documentation was deleted I can't find the permissions list.

Since I program my own plugins for my server and I use your plugin, I would like to include a feature in which I can read the friends of a player and I can currently only over detours with the database.

It's a good plugin however the developer seems rather inactive. This is a shame because this plugin has amazing potential. A few errors are thrown every now and then however the plugin itself is functional.

Add support of prefixes (PermissionEX) for all messages. Then 5 stars

This is a really good plugin but It would be more cool if the plugin saves status data in the MYSql like:
0 = Offline
1 = Online
2 = Away (AFK)
3 = Do not disturb

Help me please ? after i deleted the item of gui, it was still normal. But when i reload my server , some mistake is happening. when we used /f, it not only didn't open the gui, it gave me a msg: "an iternal error occurred while attemping to perform this command". HOW TO FIX :((

Amazing :) this plugin is highly customizable and after some hours it worked perfectly.. the reason I don't give it 5 stars is because the commands /f interfear with my FACTIONS plugin :( which also uses /f

Its a nice Plugin. Still there are some fatal bugs like the mysql bug. And you just wont fix them. Sorry but you cant use this plugin unles you would decompile your whole plugin just for some sql code.

Very good plugin! But please fix it so soon as possible because there is a bug that you can't click the requests item so the inventory don't open!

At first, the plugin was working amazing. But it doesn't let people who are not OP use it so it is completely useless.

The Creator doesn't react of bug reports and don't fix the MySQL-Timeout Error. I waiting for this fix since 5 versions.

Poorly constructed plugin & the developer doesn't offer support what so ever, I highly do not recommend.

The reviews are clearly really bad, the plugin has so many errors and especially in messages, let me list a few:

1. My friend is offline however the menu says his online.
2. When I try jumping to my friend when he's offline it says you must add him as a friend.
3. When I try jumping to my friend when he's online and on the same server it doesn't say "This friend is on the same server as you!". And it doesn't display the username.
4. On the friends menu it doesn't display what server they're on. It's just blank.

The list goes on and on. I haven't bothered looking for more though, I'm sure there are plenty others.

I do not recommend this at all. Unless he fixes the bugs. I am and others are quite disappointed at this.

It looks great! But i can't get the bungee cord to work, Ive got the addon and the bungee mode on true on both servers but won't work, else its great!

This is a very good plug-in, but unfortunately in some messages and in the GUI the variable %PLAYER% does not work, only after a nickname is set a name is displayed (also in the standard config)

Plug-in version: 3.0.2.4
Server version: Spigot 1.8.8 (latest)

Because it did not work in this version, I tested the version 3.0.2.3, it worked then, but when I changed to MySQL, the same error occurred.

Please fix it, then it would be an extremely good plugin, in this version not usable. :(

Perfektes Plugin. Das beste, was es gibt. Es freut mich sehr, dass du es regelmäßig updatest. Vor allen Dingen ist das PEX-Update sehr geil! Aber vielleicht könntest du noch irgendwas hinzufügen, dass man für das Freundesystem z.B. bei Admin statt "&4Administrator &8| &4NAME" nur "&4" sieht. Also einen eigenen Prefix für jeden Rang einstellen kann, der nur für das Friendssystem geht. Währe mega nizze :D

Not every time they login the message: you have (0) friend requests..
But if there are friend requests that there come:

[friend] have send you a friend request
[accept] [Deny]

Please make that available in the config

i love the plugin, but i am personaly very confused as to why i receive the join item in worlds i clearly have set in the config, and after disabling enabled worlds, and enabling the disabled worlds
it still appears in the worlds marked as disabled

Very good plugin, however there is a bug with the Private mode in that when it is enabled friends still receive a message when you join/quit and also you show as online when your friends do /f list - other than that this plugin is very well-made.

Works as intended also every single thing can be changed, this is the best plugin for Friends..

I found a bug you hopefully can resolve.
But overall this is a really good plugin but I just got an issue wich I'm reporting.

I just friend added someone, a guy on my server but before I didn't had anyone in my friend list (Just installed this plugin, I had an older version log ago I don't know about anymore) and the menu will just don't do anything and shows an error in chat: https://gyazo.com/0fba569d36cc14abd4c11ae4a2d44bd8

Great plugin, used the 2.0 version a few months, the 3.0 version has some problems atm, but the author is really fast in fixing the bugs :D
