md_5 still hasn’t bothered to add Component support to Bukkit#createInventory, which makes Spigot unable to run a plugin that uses modern, proper APIs.
I’m not going to butcher the code with hacks just to support an engine that’s technically rotting.
Use Paper or Purpur — they’re alive, maintained, and actually compatible with 2024.
