I believe only the Void-Biomes-1.21.zip datapack removes the overworld bounding box for strongholds, so in that case, the Eyes of Ender and /locate command won't work. However, if you're using the Void Worldgen datapack, the bounding boxes should still be generated, though it might come with a performance cost due to the extra calculations involved.
If you'd rather not enable bounding boxes, you can manually add the End portal block to your world like any other block "END_PORTAL:0.001". However, do keep in mind that the Ender Eyes and /locate rely on the stronghold structure itself to function, so even with a grid placed portal, these mechanics won't detect it.

Great plugin, lots of configuration, works with latests versions of Minecraft. I plan to fully implement this plugin on my server.
Author is also super reactive on issues made on Github if you have bugs or feature requests
https://github.com/DavidS-Repo/SkyGridx I highly recommend
First look was very promising. The plugin has a lot of customizability options and its nice that it already supports the newest Minecraft version. However ever with the provided Datapack I could not archive to generate structures on a freshly set up 1.20.4 Minecraft Paper Server. I will try that again with Bukkit though and see how that goes. Also I can confirm what one person before me said and that is the world generation seems to be quite resource heavy and also creates some void chunks sometimes. I also couldn’t get the world spawn generated. Generation would always start a couple hundred blocks beyond the spawn no matter what I tried to do.
Overall I could say that it has some hiccups but the overworld and nether both seem to generate mostly fine. I am looking forward for those problems to get fixed so that the plugin would be perfect. Thanks a lot to the creator of it.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the plugin. I appreciate your detailed feedback and apologize for the inconvenience you've encountered.
Regarding the issue with spawn chunks not being properly generated, I've identified the cause. On the first boot, if the plugin is started before the datapack has finished processing the spawn chunks, it results in incomplete generation. I'm actively working on a solution to rectify this. In the meantime, here's a workaround:
After the initial server boot, you may notice server overload due to the datapack processing chunks for the nether, end, and overworld simultaneously without any limiters. Allow the datapack to process these chunks, I suggest waiting for about 1-2 minutes after the first server boot, then restarting the server. This should ensure the initial chunks are processed by the datapack. Once done, reboot the server, and you can then initiate the skygrid generation using '/sgon,' and it should correctly generate the spawn chunks.
Alternatively, you can navigate to the skygrid folder and delete 'world_generated_chunks.txt,' 'world_nether_generated_chunks.txt,' and 'world_the_end_generated_chunks.txt.' This action will trigger a fresh grid generation, which should resolve the issues caused by the datapack.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. Now that I am on break from college, I should have more time to focus on fixing the issues. If you encounter any further issues or need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out, especially if you have any console bugs related to the plugin or conflicts with other plugins.
Best regards,
David

Thanks for your feedback on the plugin. Sorry to hear about the hiccups you encountered.
To dig into this, could you shoot over a list of the other plugins you're running, server settings, specs, and any screenshots of those errors? This will help me investigate the problem and improve the plugin's performance.
